Safety, trust & environment
I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

Information Sommer M. would like to know about your pet
Any information about your dog or cat is welcome! Typical routine, activity level, manners/ habits, health needs, favorite ways to play, etc! The more detailed the better!
A typical day
We like to go for walks and play games that challenge your dog with listening/commands (like sit and stay or leave it) or games that user their nose (hide and seek toys/treats). And of course play fetch!

Pet care experience
Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood.
Reviews

The family was great with our Frankie, sending lots of pics and understanding our nervousness in leaving him for the first time. He returned home happy, healthy, and exhausted from all the amazing playtime with the other dogs!

Tuck has the best time with Sommer, always getting his favorite walks and outdoor playtime!

Our Tuck loves the attention and doggie playmates he gets when Sommer takes care of him. He’s always comes home happy!

Sommer and her family took excellent care of our dog, Copper! It was so nice being able to get little updates on how he was doing, and it allowed me to better enjoy my family’s vacation knowing Copper was being so well cared for. Much different and better than worrying about him spending his days in a cage at a boarding facility. The whole process was very smooth- Sommer made each part of the process easy! I know as much as Copper missed us, and as happy as he was to see us and to go home, I know he liked Sommer a lot and appreciated her care and attention, as he “said goodbye” to her before we left, all on how own. It was such a sweet thing to see. We were able to bring home a happy and well-cared for dog, vs an anxious and stressed dog like has been the case when we’ve used boarding kennels. We definitely recommend Sommer and her family, and would certainly book with them again!
