“We were so happy to find Kim to care for our three cats. This was our first time having someone from Rover care for our cats and it was also the first time one of our cats needed medication administered twice per day. The cats were also adjusting to a brand new regimen of each having a special diet per the vet, so it was not an ideal time for us to leave town. However, Kim did a wonderful job and really made us feel confident and at ease while we were on spring break that they were being well cared for. We got reports and pictures with every visit. Kim was great at communicating and keeping me in the loop as she figured out a system of how to best give the meds and meet their special dietary needs...balancing needing to get the meds in but also making sure she kept a good relationship with them so they wouldn't hide, etc. By the middle of the week, the cats were already asking for belly rubs and to play fetch. It was really heartwarming to see them doing so well while we traveled. I would not hesitate to recommend Kim. Thank you so much, Kim!”

About: Hello! My name is Sommer. I've been on Rover since January 2024! I love animals and have had experience with pets my whole life (Dogs, cats, parrots, small lizards, gerbils, fish, chickens). I’m a mom of an 8 and 6 year old who also love animals. My Husband and I have been married since 2009. We currently own chickens that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking daily walks around our neighborhood. In the last year we lost our beloved family dog and we really miss having a furry friend in our home. We are sensitive to animals' needs at all ages and uphold the utmost respect for your deserving companion! When they are happy so are we! I currently work part-time from home so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I'm available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Our yard is partially fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

About: I grew up with a black lab and currently have 2 high energy french bulldog puppies. I have not met a dog I didn’t like! I currently work a full time time job but I am available all weekend. I spend a lot of time sitting at a desk so hoping to get my step count up while helping someone else tire their dog out! Available for pet sitting in my home and I am available to come let your dog out, feed your dog, walk your dog, play some fetch, brushing, belly rubs, and anything in between!

“Kayla has a huge heart for animals. She has had dogs and cats as pets her whole life. Kayla is very responsible and makes sure the animals are fed and well taken care of. When the weather had been too bad for walks, Kayla would play w the dogs inside th house so they could release some energy and not be so bored. She loves to cuddle w her pets. Lily, her cat, waits for Kayla to come home and curls up next to Kayla first chance she gets. About: I have taken care of dogs of all ages and all sizes! I worked at a daycare/boarding/grooming/training facility for 3 years. I managed the entire kennel and learned everything there is to know about dogs! I went to school for dog training and got CPR certified as well. You can count on me to take the absolute BEST care of your furry friend! I am currently working from home so I have plenty of time to take care of your pup! There are lots of trails nearby to take your lovely critter on a walk and I will be dedicating my time to make sure your pet is mentally and physically stimulated! I have four young cats who mind their business and a young small dog who is completely trained. She loves to interact with others but knows boundaries and limitations. I do not have a yard but I would be taking your furry friend on regular potty breaks as well as trail walks for exercise and stimulation!
