About: • I’ve had and cared for dogs my entire life (~25 years of experience) and cats for the past 10 years • Comfortable with all breeds and ages • Previous dog-walker for an animal shelter • 2 years experience as a veterinary assistant • Specialty: caring for high energy dogs / working breeds (ex: shepherds, malinois, and my own doberman!) • Other skills: animal behavior recognition, training, general first aid, senior and puppy pet care, medication administration/management I currently work part-time, so i have plenty of availability throughout the week, though my work schedule is different each week. Just let me know when you’d like help and we can work together to find what works! I am available for drop-ins. I am NOT available for overnight stays. I understand it can be a weird feeling having a new person come into your home (especially for your pet)! As a guest in your home, I am respectful and patient as your pet gets comfortable with me. I try my best to follow your pets lead, while also being a leader for them. I’ve cared for dogs and cats in other people’s homes many times and prioritize the safety of their home. For example, making sure it’s locked up and left how I found it when i leave, making sure the collars and leashes are secure before walks, and ensuring pets don’t escape when i open the door haha!

“Wonderful with both of our dogs. Our standard poodle loves her longer walk. Our 15 year old miniature poodle who has vision problems loves his walks as well as the pickup and carry around. Paul is also excellent with his eye medication.”

“Kat was absolutely fantastic with my cats! I so appreciated the photos and time spent playing with the cats and sharing details. Was especially grateful to have her over the Christmas holiday. Highly recommend and can’t wait to use her again ❤️”

“Sydney is great! She was able to check in on my two pups multiple times. Sydney always leaves a detailed report and makes sure we get pics of the pups during her visits. We highly recommend her!”

“Angela took wonderful care of Elliott during her twice-daily visits. She showed tremendous patience with him and let him warm up to her at his own pace. By her final visit, he allowed her to pet him and take him into the yard—a big accomplishment! She also thoughtfully handled a few extra details around the house. I truly appreciated her reliable and compassionate care. I highly recommend.”

About: I often take care of my mom’s senior dog. He requires a lot of attention due to his health and getting around. I love to be an assistant to him. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays and I am often free during the weekends. I can make sure I have enough time available for any of your needs. I live in a pet friendly apartment. I don’t live near any busy streets and can take a dog on a nice stroll around my neighborhood. I can keep animals in crates, if requested.
“People said it couldn’t be done but Courtney did it! Our Daisy is a rescue with odd triggers and a guarded outward personality hiding her gentle lovie inner personality. Courtney came with patience, confidence, affection and belief - and she has won Daisy’s trust and mutual affection. (Mine, too!) I couldn’t be happier! Courtney is professional, prompt, friendly and easygoing. She brings loads of experience and a comfortable sense of self to provide heartfelt companionship right here in our home, helping Daisy be her best self! Thanks, Court! God smiled on us - You are a blessing!”

About: I have had a dog of my own for nine years and think I would be a great fit to take care of your animal. I know what to do in different situations with dogs and cats because I have babysat dogs and cats before. I have a lot of free time to properly take care of your animals. I am willing to spend more time and really make sure your satisfied with my visit. I spend time taking them for walks, grooming them, and just spending time with them. I love exercising my dog and making sure he gets treats for his good behavior.
“Maddalena was a great fit for our cat. She seemed to bond very quickly to the point Maddelena sent us video of their quality time spent together when she visited, rather than basically have our cat ignore her. In the past that has always been the case when we have others stop by to check in. We received photos each time Maddalena visited which made us feel better while we were away. Maddalena was very reliable and open with communication. We will rebook with Maddalena any time we go out of town in the future.”

About: From week long in-home stays to quick 15 minute walks, I have done it all! I started occasional dog walking in 8th grade and i’ve continued pet care for 9 years. I work in the morning from 7:30 to 2:00pm and two nights a week from 7:00pm to 12:00 am. I have weekends free so plenty of time for visiting! I will not be able to offer any in home care as I have two dogs at home that do not enjoy the company of others.

“Yolanda was amazing with our three high energy dogs! When we first met her and her husband, we could tell right away they were great people and our dogs took right to them. Even our dog that is sometimes shy around new people seemed completely at ease with them. She was available on short notice and took lots of great photos of the first visit. Our dogs looked very happy and relaxed. We would definitely recommend Yolanda!”

“Chris was awesome with dropping in to check on our cat. Had a last minute emergency and he was able to fill in. He communicated well and was able to rearrange his schedule to make it work. Would reach out again with no second thoughts!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Butler
Alyssa did a wonderful job with my large dogs. To note I have three BIG boys all active herding/wors dog mixed breeds. She was helping with drops in for AM and early PM while I was out of town alongside my parents as they needed assistance with their own schedules. My boys quickly were comfortable with Alyssa (my middle pup has some high stranger anxiety and make me look silly for my concerns) she also did great having to deal with a donut cone for my eldest since he had a skin condition acting up. She was also great at communicating any adjustments/timing I.e a potty accident at her previous drop in had her running a few behind.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
