About: I’ve taken care of dogs since a young age in my own home and have dog sat for several families as a teenager and adult. I like to play and walk dogs and take care of their needs. About: We lost our sweet Blue (11 year old labradoodle) 3 years ago of bone cancer, and have recently become empty nesters. We LOVE dogs, and our cat has missed his canine companion. Our yard is over an acre, and includes a wooded area. We are also located near beautiful trails that we can walk to. Both of us work from home the majority of the time, and we will only open our home up to furry house guests if we are sure that at least one of us is available to be home the majority of the day. Your dog will love the extra love and attention that they will receive, and we tend to be a bit lenient with letting dogs on furniture/beds. Most of our neighbors own dogs, and there are young children next door. That being said, a dog that is friendly with other dogs and not wary of children would LOVE a vacation with us. I am working part time, and my husband works at least 1/2 of the time from home. We are flexible with dog schedules, and have experience with "elderly" dogs with special needs. We have a large yard (over an acre), which is not fenced in. Our neighborhood connects to walking trails and parks, so your dog will have ample exercise opportunities. We are extremely flexible with our schedules, and can adapt to meet your dog's current routines.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 20. Always owned a dog and they have been emotional support animals for me. I enjoy playing, cuddling and taking them for walks!! About: From a young age i’ve always loved animals, having grown up with 4+ animals in the house at all times i learned very quickly my love for animals. i have worked at 2 vets in the past and 2 doggy daycares, those jobs showed me how much i really wanted to care for animals, and while i am not working at this time id still like to devote time to helping people out and making dogs happy with walks and play time and company, i have cared for dogs weighing from under 10 pounds all the way to almost 200 pounds, i do have some experience with administering medication orally and with a needle if needed. i cared for my elderly cat in the past and my elderly dog now, I've given insulin shots and given pills, I am more than comfortable handling that, I found by putting the pill in a small treat nine times out of ten they don’t even notice it’s in there! I know what the feeling is like to have to leave your animals behind when you go on vacation or wherever, but i would love to make them feel happy and loved while your gone! I care for all animals the way I would care for my own pets. my schedule is open now so even if you have a puppy who needs extra potty breaks i’m available to come up to every 2-3 hours if needed. i’m really flexible and can work with everyone at the moment i am not working so this actually works out very well with me im relatively open for pet care:) i just have a few scattered doctors appointments throughout the week in my clients home I will make sure to follow any rules and or guidelines that are expected of the animals and myself obviously as I am in someone else’s home..
