About: Hi, I'm Max! I've been a pet lover ever since I was a kid. Currently, I take care of my childhood dog, Jordy, who's about 19 years old and has several health issues. He's a sweet loving rescue dog, and I wouldn't trade him for the world. I am experienced with giving dogs medications, both liquid and solid, and cleaning them as needed. I understand that every dog has their own needs, and I am willing and able to give every dog the love they need, want, and deserve. PLEASE NOTE: Starting September through December of 2026, I will be booked every Tuesday afternoon & evening, as well as all day every Wednesday. I just graduated from Carthage College, so I have the entire summer to care for your pet! Whether that means staying overnight or walking them a few times a day, I'm ready to give them the care they need. I will make sure your pet is safe and secure in your home, making sure physical boundaries are maintained and secure. A safe pet is a happy pet!

I currently work full time in the evenings Thursday through Sunday, so my availability is a little different on those days. I’m still available for drop-in visits and house sitting, but I’m not able to care for dogs who need to be let outside or checked on during the time I’m at work. I’m happy to work with pets whose routines fit around my schedule, and I’m available more flexibly on my other days. My goal is always to make sure I can give each pet the attention and care they need! I keep my availability up to date and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to. Providing reliable, consistent care is important to me, and I always make sure each pet receives the time, attention, and love they deserve. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I know pets are most comfortable in their own environment, so I take the time to follow your care instructions closely—from feeding schedules and walks to playtime, medications, litter box cleaning, or any special requests. I also treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own. I'll keep things clean and tidy, make sure your pet has fresh food and water, and give them plenty of love and attention based on their personality and comfort level. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and independent, I let them set the pace while making sure they feel safe and cared for. You'll receive regular photo and video updates after each visit so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, healthy, and in good hands while you're away.

About: We lost our sweet Blue (11 year old labradoodle) 3 years ago of bone cancer, and have recently become empty nesters. We LOVE dogs, and our cat has missed his canine companion. Our yard is over an acre, and includes a wooded area. We are also located near beautiful trails that we can walk to. Both of us work from home the majority of the time, and we will only open our home up to furry house guests if we are sure that at least one of us is available to be home the majority of the day. Your dog will love the extra love and attention that they will receive, and we tend to be a bit lenient with letting dogs on furniture/beds. Most of our neighbors own dogs, and there are young children next door. That being said, a dog that is friendly with other dogs and not wary of children would LOVE a vacation with us. I am working part time, and my husband works at least 1/2 of the time from home. We are flexible with dog schedules, and have experience with "elderly" dogs with special needs. We have a large yard (over an acre), which is not fenced in. Our neighborhood connects to walking trails and parks, so your dog will have ample exercise opportunities. We are extremely flexible with our schedules, and can adapt to meet your dog's current routines.

“I can’t recommend Maddie highly enough! She stepped in at the last minute over the Christmas holiday when I had a family emergency, and she was absolutely fantastic. Maddie took amazing care of my two cats, Isabella and Coco. Coco is notoriously shy and has always hidden from previous sitters, but Maddie worked her magic and managed to coax her out—something no one else has been able to do! She made sure both cats ate well, stayed happy, and received plenty of attention. Maddie also kept me updated with daily videos and photos, which gave me such peace of mind during a stressful time. Maddie is a true professional and clearly loves animals. I feel so lucky to have found her and will definitely be booking her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since a young age in my own home and have dog sat for several families as a teenager and adult. I like to play and walk dogs and take care of their needs. I do have experience with puppies. I also have experience with cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils and fish. I work from home, so I have some flexibility/availability during the morning and afternoon and am free in the evenings. I am also available most weekends. I love getting to know dogs and other pets. I will learn from the owners about their pets and observe their behaviors to see works best for them in our interactions.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for years! I had dogs growing up and I have my own cat now. I also have my own turtle! I work full time but am able to let dogs out depending on distance throughout the day. I am more than willing to spend quality time with your animal! I am able to stay/visit at houses to support your pet. I am unable to bring cats or dogs into my house due to my cat being a solo cat (her preference).

About: started working at a grooming salon, then spent years overnight pet sitting while attending nursing school. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for friends and neighbors for almost 10 years. I have helped raise puppies while nannying, and have dog sat overnight for years! I have an energetic lovable 9 month old lab of my own who would love to have a friend to play with! I’ve cared for sick pets, puppies, and adult dogs. I serve as a manager at a local veterinary hospital and have years of experience when it comes to dog watching. I’m hoping this is an opportunity I’ll be able to take care of others dogs! First and foremost I read about the pet and what the owners have to say about them. This will give me a good idea for what I am getting into when I enter the owners house. I will already know how the dogs are going to act and I will be prepared. I never leave the doors unlocked/open unless advised by the owner. I will do exactly what the owner has said to do. I will always double check a dog is secured with their leash when going outside, I will also be aware of the weather and how that might switch the dogs needs when going outside.
