About: I haven't been without a dog since age nine, when my parents gave us our first opportunity to develop a bond with a pet, Abby, our beloved English setter. She died the year I graduated from college, and since then I have had two of my own dogs: Gretta, a chocolate lab whom I owned from age 6 weeks until her death at age 13, and Lillie, a springer spaniel who was basically a life-long puppy exploding with energy and a fervor for running, jumping, and all things adventure-related. Sadly, Lillie died in June (at age 13), and we miss her so much. My husband and I like to travel, so I am not quite ready to adopt another dog yet, but in the meantime, I would love to pet-sit for other dogs so as to be around furry friends who bring so much joy to my life. I'm a teacher, so I'm mainly interested in walking and caring for pets on the weekends and during the summer months, but I can be available other times as well depending on my schedule. My job is to provide love, attention, and a safe and enriching learning environment to any pet in my care. I accommodate as needed depending on the needs of the individual animal.

About: We lost our sweet Blue (11 year old labradoodle) 3 years ago of bone cancer, and have recently become empty nesters. We LOVE dogs, and our cat has missed his canine companion. Our yard is over an acre, and includes a wooded area. We are also located near beautiful trails that we can walk to. Both of us work from home the majority of the time, and we will only open our home up to furry house guests if we are sure that at least one of us is available to be home the majority of the day. Your dog will love the extra love and attention that they will receive, and we tend to be a bit lenient with letting dogs on furniture/beds. Most of our neighbors own dogs, and there are young children next door. That being said, a dog that is friendly with other dogs and not wary of children would LOVE a vacation with us. I am working part time, and my husband works at least 1/2 of the time from home. We are flexible with dog schedules, and have experience with "elderly" dogs with special needs. We have a large yard (over an acre), which is not fenced in. Our neighborhood connects to walking trails and parks, so your dog will have ample exercise opportunities. We are extremely flexible with our schedules, and can adapt to meet your dog's current routines.

About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life. I adopted my first dog, Ziggy in 2009. Unfortunately, Zig had special needs that cut his already short life even shorter. I made sure his days were filled with love, fun and all of the special care he needed. Ziggy inspired me to go on to adopt a kitty, eventually another dog and volunteer with a rescue. About: I’ve been pet sitting my neighbors dogs since I was 15. This summer I spent 2 months in Greece taking care of 100+ pound dogs! I have plenty of experience giving animals their medicine and grooming if needed! I am a full time student majoring in Animal Behavior, with many gaps in my schedule to have enough time for your animal! I am the most free on the weekend but have time throughout the weekdays! About: I have worked with three doggy daycares with different social settings and dynamics small groups to groups of 45. We are trained to care for dogs, of any breed. Poop, or throw up I can handle it. I work part-time my schedule shifts, are Tuesday, and Sunday. However, I can change my shifts to meet your schedule needs. never be afraid to ask and always ask me a week in advance. I have been trained through three different doggy daycare programs that have introduced different training protocols to understand the needs, health, Dog AID, behaviors, and more of different breeds. About: I haven't been without a dog since age nine, when my parents gave us our first opportunity to develop a bond with a pet, Abby, our beloved English setter. She died the year I graduated from college, and since then I have had two of my own dogs: Gretta, a chocolate lab whom I owned from age 6 weeks until her death at age 13, and Lillie, a springer spaniel who was basically a life-long puppy exploding with energy and a fervor for running, jumping, and all things adventure-related. Sadly, Lillie died in June (at age 13), and we miss her so much. My husband and I like to travel, so I am not quite ready to adopt another dog yet, but in the meantime, I would love to pet-sit for other dogs so as to be around furry friends who bring so much joy to my life. I'm a teacher, so I'm mainly interested in walking and caring for pets on the weekends and during the summer months, but I can be available other times as well depending on my schedule. My job is to provide love, attention, and a safe and enriching learning environment to any pet in my care. I accommodate as needed depending on the needs of the individual animal.
