“Miranda is amazing. She is very patient with my old men doggies and takes time to ensure they’re taken care of with love. It’s not easy leaving your pets but Miranda makes it easier. Highly recommend”

“Rayanna took wonderful care of our cat and was very attentive and reliable. We also really appreciated how clean she kept our home. Whenever she had any questions, she reached out to us, which made us feel very comfortable leaving our cat in her care!”

About: • I’ve had and cared for dogs my entire life (~25 years of experience) and cats for the past 10 years • Comfortable with all breeds and ages • Previous dog-walker for an animal shelter • 2 years experience as a veterinary assistant • Specialty: caring for high energy dogs / working breeds (ex: shepherds, malinois, and my own doberman!) • Other skills: animal behavior recognition, training, general first aid, senior and puppy pet care, medication administration/management I currently work part-time, so i have plenty of availability throughout the week, though my work schedule is different each week. Just let me know when you’d like help and we can work together to find what works! I am available for drop-ins. I am NOT available for overnight stays. I understand it can be a weird feeling having a new person come into your home (especially for your pet)! As a guest in your home, I am respectful and patient as your pet gets comfortable with me. I try my best to follow your pets lead, while also being a leader for them. I’ve cared for dogs and cats in other people’s homes many times and prioritize the safety of their home. For example, making sure it’s locked up and left how I found it when i leave, making sure the collars and leashes are secure before walks, and ensuring pets don’t escape when i open the door haha!
“Jen is the best! Our two kitties are typically really shy but not with Jen. She truly has a gift with animals. When we come home our cats are calm and comfortable. It's a real relief to know they are taken care of so well.”

“The walks, games, affection and other quality time that Meghan gives our dog “Daisy” and cat “Archie” are outstanding. It is such a relief, for my wife and I to go somewhere and be assured our pets are safe and happy. We could not be more satisfied with her services!!! Tom and Sue S.”

“Kandice was a great pet sitter for our two cats. Her communication was phenomenal and you can tell she has a real heart for animals. It was our 1st experience with Kandice and we would definitely book her again! Highly recommend !!”

“Mackenzie was great! She did a stop in visit to feed my three cats and went above and beyond. Not only did she send plenty of photos, she also took a quick look at the litter boxes. Would go with again!”

“Wonderful with both of our dogs. Our standard poodle loves her longer walk. Our 15 year old miniature poodle who has vision problems loves his walks as well as the pickup and carry around. Paul is also excellent with his eye medication.”

“Allison was an amazing sitter for our four cats — Stanley, Pebbles, Murphy, and Harley. Stanley is a full-time attention hog, but Allison made sure everyone got their cuddles and pets during each visit. She also flawlessly handled Stanley’s nightly oral medication (6/6 successful doses 👏), which is no small feat. All cats are on various different prescription foods, and she fed them perfectly, kept water bowls full, and made sure dry food was always available. We loved the detailed Rover report cards and all the photos — it was clear she spent the full hour with them, just as requested. I know we are coming home to happy, well-cared-for cats and total peace of mind. She also brought all our packages into the house, which is a bonus.”

“This is our second time with Madeline and we couldn’t be happier. She’s so good with Niya. I’m still flabbergasted that she gets her to go outside and actually use the bathroom. It’s such a relief to know we have someone who is reliable and has so much love for our fur baby.”

About: I grew up in a house of 3 dogs and have been pet sitting for more than 15 years. I am comfortable and familiar caring for pets of all sizes, needs, and personalities. Should you need more personalized care, I am happy to provide overnight stays in your home as well. I like to keep my clients up to date with check ins and photos throughout the day so they know their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away. Feel free to message me if you have any questions! When booking a sitting request I always want to make sure that I can give your pet my full attention to accommodate their needs. I typically wake up early and am able to be home for the majority of the day, if not full time. I care for each pet as if it were my own. There will be no shortage of love and attention when they are with me.
About: Ive been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my parents ran a pet-care business out of our home—starting with family pets and growing into a well-known service in our city. Because of this, handling dogs of all personalities is second nature to me. I’m also very active and athletic, so I love taking dogs out for long walks or brisk runs—perfect if you have a high-energy pup who needs to burn off extra steam. I do work full time during the week and I go into an office. I would be available on my lunch break to let your pup out if you are in the area of my work and also at night during the week and on weekends. I have my own almost 4 year old black lab. He is very well behaved and I have a nice open backyard where he gets to run freely.
“Heather was really wonderful. I have 2 dogs who couldn't be more different, a senior hound and a 5 yr old malinois. She did great with both of them. Heather was willing to go above and beyond with the care of the dogs. I highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Aidan always takes the best care of our pups while we are away!! Very attentive, excellent communication, so helpful. Would absolutely recommend and plan to use again when needed.”

About: I have taken care of friends and family’s pets for years and have experience with senior cats and dogs. Recently I have been cat and dogging sitting for my friends more frequently while also taking care of my own cats. I am available all weekdays and rotating weekends! I pretty much have open availability and flexibility for whenever you need your little ones watched or cared for. My home is not available for pet sitting but I am available for house/pet sitting at clients homes. I can play with, cuddle, feed and provide medications for your pets in your home.
About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! Growing up with both dogs and cats, I was the pet caretaker in my family—handling daily walks, feeding, playtime, and cuddles. Those early experiences sparked a love of caring for animals. For the past 4 years, I've been dog walking and pet sitting for a variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, belly rubs, or playing fetch, I'm happy to match their energy and routine. I am available in the morning and anytime after 3pm in the evenings. On the weekends I am available all day. My goal is to make pet care as convenient for both you and your animals! I understand how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I am committed to providing a safe and secure environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for. If your pet has specific needs, routines, or accommodations, I am happy to make adjustments in my care routine to ensure they feel comfortable. I make sure every pet gets the walks, playtime, supervision, and companionship they need each day!

As of September 2026, there are 987 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Lannon. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lannon. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
