Cat Sitting in Lake Five

About: We lost our sweet Blue (11 year old labradoodle) 3 years ago of bone cancer, and have recently become empty nesters. We LOVE dogs, and our cat has missed his canine companion. Our yard is over an acre, and includes a wooded area. We are also located near beautiful trails that we can walk to. Both of us work from home the majority of the time, and we will only open our home up to furry house guests if we are sure that at least one of us is available to be home the majority of the day. Your dog will love the extra love and attention that they will receive, and we tend to be a bit lenient with letting dogs on furniture/beds. Most of our neighbors own dogs, and there are young children next door. That being said, a dog that is friendly with other dogs and not wary of children would LOVE a vacation with us. I am working part time, and my husband works at least 1/2 of the time from home. We are flexible with dog schedules, and have experience with "elderly" dogs with special needs. We have a large yard (over an acre), which is not fenced in. Our neighborhood connects to walking trails and parks, so your dog will have ample exercise opportunities. We are extremely flexible with our schedules, and can adapt to meet your dog's current routines.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, amongst another furry friends. I currently live on a mini farm and have 3 dogs, 2 cats and chickens and ducks! I am no stranger to animals to say the least. I believe in caring for animals as they should be and also be considerate of any needs. I will meet them where they are at. Right now, I am working 2nd/3rd shift so have my mornings free to do a let out and or walk. Once June 1st hits I will be available to do all day. My yard is fenced in right now which adds a level of security for my own dogs. I will adhere to client wishes for proper care for their dogs. For example, if they wish for me to use a leash while outside with the dog I will do so.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs of many temperaments, so caring for them has come naturally since I was young. I’ve helped friends and neighbors with their dogs, from playful puppies to the most anxious worriers and senior companions, prioritizing the mental and physical well-being of each one. I’m comfortable giving oral medications and happy to learn injections with guidance. I also work at a doggie daycare and love the work. I’m available most Fridays to Sundays, with flexible mornings, afternoons, and evenings. About: I have had pets my entire life. At this time, I am petless, so I would love to love on your pets. Family and friends have relied on me to watch, walk, and play with their furry friends. I and my husband are retired so we have a lot of time to spend with your dog and will walk them a few times a day and play with them. They will always have someone with them. I take younger dogs for a morning, afternoon and night walk. I adjust the number of walks and distance if they are older dogs. I also play with them. They can sleep on the bed and furniture.
