About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

My work shifts are primarily in the evenings 5 pm - 1 am Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday. My work schedule can be adjusted based on the type of booking needed with advance notice. I'm available for morning, midday, and early afternoon visits, as well as full availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. I keep my availability up to date and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to. Providing reliable, consistent care is important to me, and I always make sure each pet receives the time, attention, and love they deserve. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. About: I have had dogs of my own since I was 9 years old. I LOVE dogs--especially small ones! I have trained all of my dogs. I board friends' dogs in my home all the time, and am now excited to move into boarding strangers' dogs here on Rover! I work full-time, a mix of in-office and at home. I work from home on Thursdays and have flexibility on Fridays, so it works best for me to be able to provide boarding on long weekends (Thursday-Sunday). I am happy to provide your pet with seamless care and match what they are used to in your home. I have a large yard and a quiet neighborhood. My home has many rooms and I have some gates so that I can separate pets if needed. I also have a puppy play pen for smaller/younger pups who need their own space.
About: I have always had a dog growing up, so I learned from a very young age how to care for a pet. Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their dogs since I was around 12 years old. This includes stopping in the house to take them to the bathroom and feeding them, as well as giving medication if needed. Lots of snuggles and playtime too of course! I have taken care of dogs in the client's home for up to a week and cared for them at my home as well. No need to worry about any complex feeding schedules. I can manage it all. I am very comfortable with any age, breed, and sized dog! I have a one-year-old pup, so I am very familiar with training and puppy classes. I have volunteered at the humane society and when I was in high school, I job shadowed at a veterinary clinic. I currently work as a substitute teacher so my schedule is extremely flexible! During the summer months I am completely open. Weekdays and weekends any time of day. I make my own schedule so there will be no conflicts. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for some off leash playtime! My dog loves to run around playing fetch with a ball or stick. I have a walking path across the street from my home and am walking distance to nature hill for some extra exercise. I always have water, waste bags and small treats with me when going on walks. (My dogs personal favorites are cheerios). I am comfortable walking with any leash, collar or harness. I have two kennels in my living room if your dog needs to be crated. At least one crate is big enough to fit a large or XL dog. I have a baby gate in front of my stairs, and the basement door is always shut. I personally love going to the pet store or drive thru to get my pet a pup cup! I would be more than happy to take your dog for an adventure and for some extra love and enrichment!
