About: We lost our sweet Blue (11 year old labradoodle) 3 years ago of bone cancer, and have recently become empty nesters. We LOVE dogs, and our cat has missed his canine companion. Our yard is over an acre, and includes a wooded area. We are also located near beautiful trails that we can walk to. Both of us work from home the majority of the time, and we will only open our home up to furry house guests if we are sure that at least one of us is available to be home the majority of the day. Your dog will love the extra love and attention that they will receive, and we tend to be a bit lenient with letting dogs on furniture/beds. Most of our neighbors own dogs, and there are young children next door. That being said, a dog that is friendly with other dogs and not wary of children would LOVE a vacation with us. I am working part time, and my husband works at least 1/2 of the time from home. We are flexible with dog schedules, and have experience with "elderly" dogs with special needs. We have a large yard (over an acre), which is not fenced in. Our neighborhood connects to walking trails and parks, so your dog will have ample exercise opportunities. We are extremely flexible with our schedules, and can adapt to meet your dog's current routines.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for friends and neighbors for almost 10 years. I have helped raise puppies while nannying, and have dog sat overnight for years! I have an energetic lovable 9 month old lab of my own who would love to have a friend to play with! I’ve cared for sick pets, puppies, and adult dogs. I’m experienced with bathing pets, love long walks and playing in the yard. I always make sure there is plenty of enrichment time. My husband works from home some days and I also have a lot of flexibility with work to make sure pups get the love and attention they need! We also make sure to walk our pup in the morning before work and after with lots of playtime in the evening. I have a large yard and a lovable pup who can be a companion to your pet! She has gone to daycare for months so is fully socialized and always wants to play with anyone who is interested. We have a camera in our crate room to make sure everything is alright when we are away. We have a full room that is pretty much empty designated for dog toys and treats! I will make sure your pet gets all the love and attention they deserve while you are gone!

About: I was lucky to grow up with lots of pets and always had an obsession with animals. My Mom did Rover for 6 years and I went from assisting her to loving it enough to go full time. If you want a pet sitter that loves and cares about your pets as much as you do, i’m your guy!😁 I’m currently looking to do pet sitting full time. I’m accepting both recurring and as needed clients. I am very flexible so any questions feel free to ask I include a visit update and picture of your pet sent to you at the end of every visit. When walking dogs, I make sure to never leave the house without the leash secured. Any medications, special diets, general likes and dislikes your pets may have, silly quirks; we will work together to make sure all needs are met and importantly that your pet feels happy and comfortable too!
About: I've owned a dog for ten years at home. I also have taken care of various neighbors' and friends' dogs as they relied on me to walk, feed, and play with the dog. I have boarded a dog for a month last summer. I now care for my own dog in my apartment. I currently have an easy schedule with one class a day where I would not be in the apartment. However, due to having three other roommates there is typically always somebody in my apartment. I have a very friendly dog who would love to play with others but she can also relax in her crate as needed. We have a fenced-in courtyard that dogs can run around in too!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
