About: My husband and I loved our dog for 10 years. We can’t get another one anytime soon but will love yours like our own. We both had dogs as pets growing up and have cared for a pet for 40+ years. I am an elementary school principal. I am available for full-time care or walking June-August. Outside of that, I’m available full-time on the weekends and evenings during the week. About: Ive been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my parents ran a pet-care business out of our home—starting with family pets and growing into a well-known service in our city. Because of this, handling dogs of all personalities is second nature to me. I’m also very active and athletic, so I love taking dogs out for long walks or brisk runs—perfect if you have a high-energy pup who needs to burn off extra steam. I do work full time during the week and I go into an office. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
