About: I've been around dogs all my life and love giving them plenty of play time and attention. I also just recently gained experience with puppies. About: I've had multiple dogs over the last 30 years. Mainly Bull Mastiffs, Border Collie Mix, and multiple Pitties. We lately have been adopting older dogs to give them the best end of life possible. For friends I've watched many smaller to larger dogs, comfortable with all. I have experience with all sorts of meds and care, although I prefer to stay away from anything with needles when possible. We've been to the vet more times than I can count, and have gotten good at understanding/reading dog behavior and signs of distress. I have experience with all soft of personalities...shy or alpha, lazy or rambunctious, etc. I like to understand them and work with them where they are at so they enjoy themselves and are happy. I'm a pretty calm presence and in general dogs trust me right away. My wife will joke that I am a dog whisperer as dogs tend to follow my lead easily, but I think it is simply being confident and projecting that you are there to take care of them. I have a very flexible work schedule and am home most of the time. I only have 1 dog right now (Oscar, 82 lb Pitty who loves everything and everyone...he walks around with soft toys like they are his dolls), but will likely be back to 2 in the near future. I walk my pup(s) pretty much every day. We live near Hart Park and the Oak Leaf Trail so getting out to walk along the river/parks is very easy. New to doing this formally rather than just for friends. Normally watch friends dogs at their place. If we take care of your pup in our home, we will always have 1+ pups that will be other-dog friendly. My wife and I have a small Tosa home but fully fenced-in yard to be able to let them out at any time day or night without worry. We have a small main floor but it has 3-4 dog beds and multiple toys (prefer dogs who are ok with soft toys, as our pup(s) don't rip those up. Will likely prefer caring for your pup in your home, it simply mitigates the crowding in the house and any potential conflicts. If I look after any cats, those would be at your house. We no longer have cats and aren't prepped for that in any way.

Caitlyn was once again outstanding. She provided excellent care for our five dogs and accommodated our newest addition on short notice. She handled Mayhem’s medications perfectly (which is an absolute necessity as she has Addison’s Disease) and shared lots of regular photo updates, which we greatly appreciated during our 10-day absence. Our dogs clearly adore her and are always excited to see her. This is our fourth time using Caitlyn, and we hope she’ll continue to sit for us! I really can’t say enough good things!
Jamila was amazing with my senior dog Vladimir! She’s helped with feedings and overnights at my house. She is kind, thoughtful, and Vlad loved her! She followed all my instructions and handled my old man with care. We will be asking her to watch Vlad again in the near future! I’m grateful to have found her!
Emily was wonderful with my two cats, Monty and Peanut, while I was out of town for a few days. She stayed at my house and kept them company. She checked in with me a couple of times a day with photos and any updates or questions. I felt much more at ease while I was gone, knowing that Emily was taking such good care of them. I would and will have her back again.
Nicole was simply fantastic. Walter is a new rescue, and has only been with me for about two weeks before I had to travel for work. Nicole kept all of my anxiety about leaving him at Bay, she was incredibly communicative, very patient with my anxious, crazy boy, and even left me a full page document of notes about her observations on him as I’m continuing to understand who he is. While I was away, I was telling some of the individuals I was with about everything she was doing for Walter and they all begged me to give them her information. Will absolutely be reaching out to Nicole in the future!
