About: I grew up in a home with various furry friends, and as a teenager got my first job working with animals at a pet store. I worked there for several years eventually managing the store and being responsible for the caring of many different types of pets. This included small animals, birds, and reptiles as well! I currently have a well trained and friendly 5 year old yellow lab and assist friends and family with their pet sitting needs. I work full-time on weekdays but have a hybrid job with the ability to work from home as needed, as long as a private internet connection is available. I’m incredibly flexible and do not have any obligations outside of that aside from my dog, who has alternative caregivers if I’m not at home. Any instructions given will be followed exactly, written instructions are preferred so I can ensure I’m maintaining the best level of care. I am okay with being active or relaxed, whatever your pet needs!
About: I love animals and have always had them. My friends reach out to me for pet sitting because they know I will take the best care of their fur babies! I have a teacup Yorkie and a cat so if you have a friendly pet, they are welcome to stay by me, but I am also retired so can stay by you if that's more convenient. I am very flexible! I am retired so have all day & evening to spend with your fur babies. I love to walk so would be sure to take your fur babies outside for fresh air any time of the year. I live in a safe area and have beautiful paths for dog walking any time of day. If your pet likes car rides, I love the beach & the water so could have lots of fun taking them wherever they like to go!

I can't speak highly enough about Melissa and the care she gave my pets (2 dogs, 2 cats, and a 🐸). Amanda was wonderful. This was the first time we traveled without our puppy and we were a bit apprehensive. However, Amanda eased our concerns. She arrived a few minutes early which signaled a level of reliability that was very welcome. While we were away, Amanda provided regular updates and pictures.
