Being away from pets is difficult, even if you fully know the person you’ve left them with! Starting with a stranger is nerve-wracking. I will work with you at every step to make sure we are completely in-sync when it comes to caring for your pet and home. "Trust but verify." Trust takes time to build. In the meantime, I will strive to put your mind at ease by providing detailed communication and documentation (photos/video).

Whether I’m caring for animals or humans, I have the same 3 pillars. Keeping your loved one: Safe. Healthy. Happy. I offer flexibility others cannot. I’m available for last-minute or emergency jobs. I truly love hearing every little detail about your pets. I delight in getting to know them. I look forward to figuring out together how I can best care for them, and your family. If your pet has special dietary or medical needs, you can rest assured I will follow your every instruction. If desired, I can provide the map and route from every walk we go on. I am a photographer, and will send as many updates as I photos as you can handle. Everything from descriptions of Fido’s morning poo, to a progress report teaching new commands.

Wonderful and very pet-focused sitter! Just a lover of all animals and the perfect person to take care of my pet. She went above and beyond to make sure both my cat and house were well taken care of.
I can't speak highly enough about Melissa and the care she gave my pets (2 dogs, 2 cats, and a 🐸). She asked thoughtful questions about their care and spent so much time loving on them during her stay! 12/10 recommend! I can't wait to invite her back for our next trip out of town! It will give me peace of mind knowing she is watching over my fur kids ❤️
Second time Melissa has cared for our pups Oakley and Nala (2 labs)! This time with one recovering from ACL surgery. She followed the plan perfectly and the girls absoutley LOVE HER, Daily detailed updates , photos and walk maps were sent. We came home to perfect pups and a spotless home. Thank you Melissa for loving our girls when we were away 💗💗 She is amazing,
Melissa did an AMAZING job house sitting for a week with our dog and cat! We received excellent communication and lots of great pictures, got helpful details of how things were going throughout the stay, and she asked good questions when needed. Our pets were obviously well loved, and she also went above and beyond taking care of our house too! We will happily hire her again for future pet sitting needs.
