Whether I’m caring for animals or humans, I have the same 3 pillars. Keeping your loved one: Safe. Healthy. Happy. I offer flexibility others cannot. I’m available for last-minute or emergency jobs. I truly love hearing every little detail about your pets. I delight in getting to know them. I look forward to figuring out together how I can best care for them, and your family. If your pet has special dietary or medical needs, you can rest assured I will follow your every instruction. If desired, I can provide the map and route from every walk we go on. I am a photographer, and will send as many updates as I photos as you can handle. Everything from descriptions of Fido’s morning poo, to a progress report teaching new commands.

Being away from pets is difficult, even if you fully know the person you’ve left them with! Starting with a stranger is nerve-wracking. I will work with you at every step to make sure we are completely in-sync when it comes to caring for your pet and home. "Trust but verify." Trust takes time to build. In the meantime, I will strive to put your mind at ease by providing detailed communication and documentation (photos/video).

Second time Melissa has cared for our pups Oakley and Nala (2 labs)! This time with one recovering from ACL surgery. She followed the plan perfectly and the girls absoutley LOVE HER, Daily detailed updates , photos and walk maps were sent. We came home to perfect pups and a spotless home. Melissa did an AMAZING job house sitting for a week with our dog and cat! We received excellent communication and lots of great pictures, got helpful details of how things were going throughout the stay, and she asked good questions when needed. Our pets were obviously well loved, and she also went above and beyond taking care of our house too! We will happily hire her again for future pet sitting needs.
Melissa was amazing with our two labs. She took impeccable care of them and our home. She is conscientious, organized and soooo kind! Our girls loved her. Lots of pictures and updates. Our minds were at ease during our last minute getaway! Would absolutely recommend!
Melissa was a HUGE help, stepping in over the holidays for a long house-sitting service when a previous sitter had to cancel last-minute. She is personable and communicative, shared lots updates during the stay, and took good care of our house. Our dog and cat were in great hands, and it felt wonderful to come home to relaxed happy pets. Happy to recommend!
