My formative years began with fish, frogs, bunnies, and cats. About eight years ago, I started more regularly caring for dogs as friends and family added them to their homes. Because I'm used to working with patients and their families as a registered nurse , I feel confident communicating clearly about pet health concerns and observing changes over time. Some cares I am willing to provide include (but are not limited to) administering medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, or intramuscular), post-surgical care wound monitoring, bandage changes, restricted activity support, vital signs, mobility assistance, and seizure support.

I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, triggers, and preferences so they feel secure and cared for, whether in my home or theirs. I maintain a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment, and I’m mindful of household rules, dietary needs, and medical instructions. My nursing background has trained me to be observant, responsive, and patient whether medically complex or not!

As always, Caitlyn was amazing! Great updates of our pets, handles giving meds like a champ, and leaves our place nice and clean every time.
Caitlyn was once again outstanding. She provided excellent care for our five dogs and accommodated our newest addition on short notice. She handled Mayhem’s medications perfectly (which is an absolute necessity as she has Addison’s Disease) and shared lots of regular photo updates, which we greatly appreciated during our 10-day absence. Our dogs clearly adore her and are always excited to see her. This is our fourth time using Caitlyn, and we hope she’ll continue to sit for us! I really can’t say enough good things!

Caitlyn is Awsome!! My big pup loves her. You can tell that she has a true love for animals. I would highly recommend her and trust her 100 with my big guy.
Caitlyn is a fantastic petsitter! At the last minute, our cat had to be started on two meds, and Caitlyn was super accommodating. She handled our leash reactive dog amazingly too. Both of our pets were happy and healthy when we got back and she left our home very clean. Super respectful and professional, highly recommend!!
Caitlyn is an amazing dog walker! She truly loves Oliver like her own. She always sends great pictures and keeps us updated, which we really appreciate. She makes sure he’s fed, played with, and cared for, and she consistently goes above and beyond. We feel so lucky to have her and highly recommend her!!

Pet care fits naturally into my current schedule, allowing me to be flexible and fully present for the pets I care for. While I'm not working in a clinical setting at the moment, I’m choosing to focus on what brings me joy, including caring for animals with the same attentiveness I gave my patients.
