“Alexis was amazing. She stayed with my 14-year-old lady for 15 days and treated her like a princess. Shee took care of her, fed her, gave her affection and made her feel at home. I can only thank her. I recommend with my eyes closed!”

“Brooke and her kid(s) are so so sweet to Biscuit. They treat my doggie just like their own. Their house is very suitable for pets, great backyard so Biscuit spent some great time outside. She gave updates with pictures everyday. Biscuit is actually a little bit sad when she came home, had to say bye to Brooke’s family and Biscuit’s new friends. Book with her and rest assured that your babies will be well taken care off.”

“Carol and Steve are warm and kind caregivers, and my two pups truly seemed to enjoy staying with them! I received several photos which indicated my dogs were content, well loved, and happily snoozing and enjoying Carol and Steve's large backyard and comfortable home. Highly recommend booking with Carol and Steve to ensure your animals are well cared for!”

“Nikki was a great pet sitter for my dog. It was nice that we could meet prior to my dog’s stay so it wouldn’t be such an unknown. Nikki also sent many photos and kept me updated throughout the stay. Nikki is a super find!”

“Could not have asked for a better experience. FredSmith (my 8 year old dog) had a wonderful time with Amanda. She helped him feel right at home and took lots of pictures to ease my worries on how he was doing. He received lots of love and attention and I could not be happier with his stay. I will board with Amanda again and recommend her to other dog friends.”

“Mitch was very accommodating with my last minute booking request. After a quick meet and greet, I left my 4 year old pup in good hands for an overnight stay. Mitch has a nice big fenced in yard for the dogs to play, he was very responsive with his communication and provided photo updates. Would definitely recommend.”

“Tia and her husband were amazing! We were nervous to leave our girl with people didn’t know but they loved her so well while we were gone. She gave so many updates and was very flexible with what our dog needed. We did a meet and greet for our dogs then gave her a laid out list of everything about our dog. Tia made us feel super comfortable. We loved that her kids loved our dog and we truly feel like Regan will miss being at their house”

“Alyssa is the best! Something came up and I wanted to drop off Maggie early. Not a problem she said. I was late picking Maggie up. Not a problem she said. She understands things happen. I know Maggie is in great hands whenever she is there. This is Maggie's second family now. Give Alyssa a try one time and she will become your dogs second family as well, I promise. Thanks Alyssa!!”

“Karen, Toy and family were very sweet with my old neurotic hound dog for a weekend stay while I had to work. Picture updates, lots of treats and she didn't even seem to be desperate to go back home (like she usually is) after her stay. Very grateful for the help and great experience!”
“I would highly recommend Christina if you are looking for someone to care for your pup while you’re away! She’s a great communicator and sent pics often! I could relax knowing he was in good hands. Thank you!”

“They did such a wonderful job communicating and sending photos and updates! Hallie seemed like she had a great time playing with their dogs and running around their fenced in yard.”

“Katrina is very nice and takes great care of your loved one! My dog loves playing with Luca and always comes home exhausted. If you need someone to take care of your loved one when you are gone, I highly recommend Katrina!”

“Dozer had the best boarding experience ever! They played with him and exercised him so much. We got lots of great photos and videos and Krysta asked lots of good questions to get to know his behavior beforehand. We will definitely be back!”

“Ditto's weekend with Diana & Joseph was the first time I've ever left Ditto with anyone but family or close friends. They were patient and flexible and went out of their way to put my mind at ease. Ditto is on a special diet, including medications, so Ditto isn't the easiest to take care of; wasn't a problem at all with Joseph & Diana. They took Ditto for walks and the girls even included Ditto as their guest during their tea party!! :) Thank you so much for giving Ditto special attention. I'm hoping he can stay with Joseph & Diana, again. ?”
“Jill was wonderful with my dog Ramona and I know Ramona was happy to have someone with her all day. She took great care of my dog and it was great not to have to worry about her while my family was on vacation.”
“Angela was great, our Penny had a lovely time and came home tired and happy. Angela was great with communication and pictures and very flexible about pick up and drop off. I would definitely bring our Penny back.”

“They are so sweet and accommodating to my schedule. Brownie had a good time at their place, they also have a big backyard which is a huge plus. I would definitely recommend!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Greenfield
We couldn’t have asked for better people to care for our dog, Charlie. From the very beginning, Dan and Holly treated him like he was part of their own family, and that meant the world to us. Charlie can be a little particular, but they were incredibly patient, attentive, and loving with him, making sure he felt safe, comfortable, and happy. They kept us updated with messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious from every update how much they genuinely cared about him. Charlie looked so relaxed and content in their home, and it was clear he received plenty of love, attention, and exercise. What really stood out was the bond they built with Charlie. You can tell they have a true passion for animals and go above and beyond to make every pet feel at home. Knowing he was with people who loved him as much as we do made all the difference. We are beyond grateful for Dan and Holly and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for trustworthy, compassionate, and exceptional pet sitters. Charlie absolutely adored them, and we know he’ll always have a special place in their hearts—and ours too. Thank you both for taking such amazing care of our sweet boy!

Sarah was great with Simba! He did one overnight & l she communicated with me very well (sent over pictures & responded fast as well). This was the first time Simba came back home relaxed & happy (not stressed or relieved to be home). Which made us feel very pleased & comfortable that Sarah had taken great care of Simba. We already have upcoming bookings with her !

Yshonda was such a kind and knowledgable sitter for Poppy. She was great at managing Poppy’s medication schedule and sent cute videos throughout her stay! Poppy came home happy along with a goodie bag of doggie gifts, she’s already looking forward to her next sleepover with Yshonda!

Can’t thank Alexis enough for taking such great care of our little Rudy!! Our puppy is very afraid of thunderstorms and Alexis got him thru two big ones while we were gone!! We’ve had the pleasure to leave him at least 5 times, knowing our puppy was in great loving hands!! Thank you!!

Jill was a great sittter for our baby! She was very communicative, sent pics and updates and she even allowed flexibility with us bringing our dog a bit early. She was also so kind in accommodating us having to pickup later. I would recommend your furry baby staying with her, they are in great hands!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
