Warm, loving, home like suroundings
We have had many breeds of dogs, varying from young to old. I have cared for healthy dogs as well as ones with health issues. Currently, we have two VERY spoiled and mischievous Basset Hound puppies, Bentley and Wilbur. We are dog lovers and have had puppies as well as rescued dogs. However, puppies are very extra special, and we are set up well to watch them and it's so great to be a part of their lives. We can administer oral as well as injectable medications. Special needs and senior pups are not a problem and are also very special. I offer a very dog friendly home and will provide a home away from home environment for your pup. You can have absolute confidence in knowing that your pet is well taken care of and is given superior loving care. Remember, you're on vacation, and they're on vacation too. We are semi-retired with years of pup experience. Generally we are available at a moment's notice IF you're a past client, and have done a meet & greet prior. There is always someone here with your loved one, and they are never left alone. So, we are perfect for pups that expierance anxiety when parents leave. We have 45 years of dog ownership experience and six years of Rover experience. We do whatever it takes and what the parents want in terms of care for their fur babies.(the purpose of our meet & greet) so the parents and pups are comfortable and stress-free. Furthermore, we try to emulate your babies home environment the best we can.

The dogs seemed to have their basic needs met. There were no updates or communication from the sitters during the week the dogs were there. One dog came bag with a bent crate and two puncture wounds on her face. The other dog came back with kennel cough. No incidents or details about their stay were told to us at pick up.
Daniel and Holly provided a great service while watching our 2 dogs. I would highly recomend them and we will use their services again.
This was a difficult experience and I won't be using rover again.

First and foremost, I want to acknowledge that Daniel and Holly made a very positive first impression. They were professional, kind, and conducted a thorough interview process that was both reassuring and helpful. However, upon entering the home, I was immediately concerned about the environment. The house had a very, very strong odor, not just of pet urine, but more generally of very poor upkeep. While at a glance the home just appeared “lived in,” a closer look made it clear that it was not a clean or comfortable environment. It was honestly difficult to sit and stay for any period of time. Unfortunately we did not have another option due to people we knew were unavailable and like I said Daniel and Holly were kind and seemed professional and there were not any visible dirt/feces in their home etc. However, due to the odor of their home, it seeped into the dogs’ bed/toy and we had to toss them and I had to deep clean the crate. Additionally, communication was a significant issue. During both the interview process and drop-off, we specifically requested photo updates or at least a check-in on our dogs, which they assured us they would provide. Unfortunately, despite multiple messages throughout the evening, we received no response until the following afternoon when we informed them we were on our way to pick up our dogs. At that point, we were told their phone had been lent to their daughter the night before and they had no way to respond. While I can understand that unexpected situations arise, there was no advance notice or alternative communication plan provided. This was very concerning, as we had no way of knowing how our dogs were doing—or how to be contacted ourselves should something have happened overnight. I was not only worried about our dogs but also that something may have happened to Daniel and Holly given their age and the fact that Holly uses a cane and it takes her a while to get around. Daniel and Holly are genuinely kind people who clearly care about dogs, which makes writing this review difficult. However, due to the state of the home and the lack of communication, we do not feel comfortable rebooking with them in the future.
Puddy was happy and healthy when I picked him up. Dan and Holly were super friendly and communicated well.

Programa
Our schedule is very flexible and the majority of times it revolves around the pup and their parents needs. We bend over backwards to accommodate what is necessary so that the pup has a great staycation.

We specialize in Boarding and Day care only. This give us the ability to be the best we can at what we do. Your babies will never go outside unleashed weather to play, potty or walk. That goes for mine as well. Many pups can escape from fenced yards. We have seen it first hand. If I had a fenced yard, they still would be leashed.

Your pup will always have my pups to engage with and possibly others if interested. In general, it's an all around fun time and many are very tired when they return home. And, let's not forget the best part of the day, lots of hugs, cuddles, and kisses time for all.:):):)
