If you ever listened to me on the radio, you KNOW how much I LOVE animals and now I'm hoping to share that love with YOUR fur babies! I've been caring for my own dogs & cats for decades, I've pet-sit for lots of friends, I'm a volunteer foster mom for a local rescue and have volunteered in the past for the Wis. Humane Society in their "dog spa." I spent a year working at a local daycare/boarding facility that specializes in care for special medical needs/senior pets. I'm comfortable with anything that has fur & have a special fondness for seniors/special needs animals. Besides playing with, walking, feeding & cuddling your dog, I'm happy to give meds, clip nails, do baths, work on basic commands and I'll even read out loud to them if you think they'd enjoy that. If you're not familiar with who I am, I can provide you with lots of references from area pet parents who would be happy to speak with you.

A wonderful dog sitter! Marilynn is truly a dog whisperer! She was so loving and caring with Lenny, and he absolutely loved his time at her house. Her fenced-in backyard gave him plenty of room to run and play, and I loved knowing he was getting lots of attention and care. I was able to relax and enjoy my time away because I knew Lenny was in such good hands. I highly recommend Marilynn to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog like family!

Schedule
My schedule is VERY flexible. I do work part time at IKEA (16-20 hrs per week), but I rarely work longer than a 4 1/2 hr shift so I’m not away from the dogs too long. I'm available days and evenings every day of the week, your house or mine. If you're looking for a 10 minute "potty visit" or you need me to babysit for 10 days, we can make it work! :-)

Safety, trust & environment
Be assured that your fur child’s/children safety, security, comfort, health and happiness are my top priorities! If you'd like your pet to come to my home, I have a large fenced yard and two very social dogs who are happy to have guests. I do have a dog-friendly cat, but I can keep a baby gate up if that would be better for your dog.
Pets
A typical day
When I care for someone's beloved dog, I like to do whatever YOU, the owner, suggest for activities so we can keep his/her day & night similar to what you do at home. I live in a great neighborhood for walkies because we can stick to streets with very little traffic & I'm close to a nice park area. If I'm dropping by to walk your dog at your house, just let me know your preferred routes. We can do whatever pace your dog is comfortable with, but please know that I'm not a runner. As far as other activities, that's up to you. I have a good yard for fetch, Danny is usually up for some chasing around and there are always squirrels to watch. Indoors, any kind of playing is allowed and we're really good at hanging on the couch to watch TV.
