Having an energetic 7-year-old Australian Shepherd like my dog Roman means staying active is just a daily way of life for me. I know firsthand what it takes to give high-energy dogs the exercise, attention, and mental engagement they need to thrive. I also have deep experience with cats, including senior and specialized care, I recently lost my beloved 17-year-old diabetic cat, so I’m very comfortable with gentle handling and strict routines. Plus, I have a big soft spot for birds! As a pet parent, I completely understand the peace of mind that comes with finding someone reliable, trusting, and flexible to look after your animals. Whether your dog needs a fast-paced walk to burn off steam, your cat needs special care/cuddles, or your bird needs an attentive check-in, I care for every pet as thoughtfully as I do my own. I’m based in the Wauwatosa and Milwaukee area and am available most afternoons after 1:30 PM, evenings, and weekends. I respect your home, stay in close communication with regular updates and photos, and ensure your pet receives plenty of quality attention, affection, and playtime while you’re away.

In addition to Vanessa having and loving her own animals, she’s someone I can always rely on to help out with my three mutts when needed. She’s reliable, kind, and an amazing puppy cuddler, and the animals are always excited to see her. Definitely recommend.
Vanessa is the perfect person to join rover. She has a dog of her own and loves animals, but the perfect example is that Vanessa takes care of almost 30 people every hour class as a fitness coach. She is able to pay attention to details, gets to know everyone on a personal level, cares for her students, and always puts her all into the day. She is responsible, attentive, go-with-the-flow, and is active, so she is the perfect person to care for these pups and especially get them out and about!!
Vanessa is an amazing dog mom—responsible, patient, attentive, and incredibly caring. I have a special-needs dog, so I’m especially particular about who I trust with him, and I'd feel completely comfortable leaving him in her care. She genuinely loves all animals and takes the time to make sure they all feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

Schedule
As a fitness coach, my schedule gives me great daily flexibility. I'm available most weekdays after 1:30 PM, as well as on weekends. Living in the Midwest, weather never stops me. I get outside and active no matter what! I can take your dog on a solo walk, bring my dog Roman along if yours wants a buddy, or simply drop in for quiet time and plenty of pets. Pet care naturally fits right into my daily routine.
