“Scott was very accommodating and communicative, we got several pictures and even a short video of our dog out playing in the fresh snow. Our dog has a fear of smooth floors and Scott was able to layout enough rugs and beds that Barley was comfortable. Will book again.”

“Stacey and her family did a great job taking care of Buddy for a week. He seemed happy and fit in well with the family pets. I would love for Stacey to take care of Buddy again.”

“Had a great experience! She was very attentive and caring with Waker, and we felt comfortable the whole time knowing he was in good hands. He got along great with her dog Luna, which was a huge plus. Would definitely book again”

“Laura did amazing with Romeo, she updated us everyday on how he was doing and was very responsive. Romeo was in very good hands. We would definitely use her again!”

About: I have had a deep compassion for all animals my whole life, wanting nothing more but for them to be happy. When your furry family members are with me, safety and entertainment will be of top priority. Giving love is second nature to me and I will be at full attention with your dog. Fun and exercise with plenty of fresh air guaranteed! I have specific walking routes to know where your pet will always be at all times , and communication will be as frequently as desired. Pictures will be posted regularly. Part of how I reach maximum comfortability for your dog is by using famiar language (commands) and learning it's habits and rituals. Everything has a personality and I try hard to learn what your dogs is like. Last but not least, I am all breed friendly!

“Go ahead and read the 200+ positive reviews and then feel confident booking Dan. All the reviews are spot on. Dan makes a real effort to learn about you and your dog so he can best accommodate your needs. He was helpful and communicative all the way through. Most importantly, my dog had a great time. I highly recommend booking Dan when you have the chance.”

“This was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t be happier with Dawn and her husband! They were so welcoming at our Meet and Greet and made us feel very comfortable leaving Zeke overnight. She sent us updates and pictures of him having a blast in their back yard, so I could tell Zeke was having a great time. I highly recommend Dawn and will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Zachary was great with my petsitting needs - especially given that I reached out for the first time within a week of needing the help. He fit me into his schedule for a meet n greet (which went really well), I really liked that he had a fenced in backyard. The stay was arranged for 5 days (I ended up coming back a day early and was able to pick him up early). Zachary provided updates early in the stay to let me know how my dog was settling in. Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”

“Mitch was very accommodating with my last minute booking request. After a quick meet and greet, I left my 4 year old pup in good hands for an overnight stay. Mitch has a nice big fenced in yard for the dogs to play, he was very responsive with his communication and provided photo updates. Would definitely recommend.”

“Nikki was great. She sent us frequent updates of our dog and even some pictures over the weekend. This was the first time we left our dog with someone that she was not familiar with, and it could not have gone any better! Nikki was flexible with drop off and pick up and answered all of our questions. I would love to use her again if we need!”

“Took my dog to Marilyn for the first time this past weekend. She sent pics and videos!! When I picked him up, he sat by her and almost didn’t want to leave? That’s how I know... he was happy being there!!”

“Scott and Ashley and their boys are mine and my dogs favorite sitters! Constantly playing, walking and cuddling on the couch. My dogs were very well taken care of! I felt so happy while away because they were in good hands. Loved all the pics! Thank you Scott and Ashley we will be back!💕”

“Brooke was top notch! She watched my dog Ned and took him in with open arms. He has epilepsy and requires medication and special needs/attention and I was so impressed with her care for him. He played with her other doggos, got brushed regularly, walked routinely, and he was overall loved at her place. I would recommend her to anyone! Thank you Brooke :)”
“Mary took excellent care of Mack! She was very communicative, sending us updates, photos and videos. Mack got so much play with his new dog friends. We will definitely ask Mary to care for Mack in the future!”

“This was our second stay at Becky’s house. Becky allowed us to book Lucy’s stay somewhat last minute which helped us out tremendously. Lucy was comfortable right away and we got lots of pictures during her stay! Thank you, Becky!”
“So thankful to Tyler and his adorable boys for taking care of our old dog! He’s not special needs but is in his sunset years and needs extra love and attention. Thank you so much for taking care of my little senior with such love!”

“Sarah, Dan and their girls were amazing! Badger loves children and had a ball. They provided pictures during the stay which helped calm our nerves. We noticed he was exhausted when he got home which is a good sign. We would definitely use them again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Allis
We couldn’t have asked for better people to care for our dog, Charlie. From the very beginning, Dan and Holly treated him like he was part of their own family, and that meant the world to us. Charlie can be a little particular, but they were incredibly patient, attentive, and loving with him, making sure he felt safe, comfortable, and happy. They kept us updated with messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious from every update how much they genuinely cared about him. Charlie looked so relaxed and content in their home, and it was clear he received plenty of love, attention, and exercise. What really stood out was the bond they built with Charlie. You can tell they have a true passion for animals and go above and beyond to make every pet feel at home. Knowing he was with people who loved him as much as we do made all the difference. We are beyond grateful for Dan and Holly and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for trustworthy, compassionate, and exceptional pet sitters. Charlie absolutely adored them, and we know he’ll always have a special place in their hearts—and ours too. Thank you both for taking such amazing care of our sweet boy!

Mitch was very accommodating with my last minute booking request. After a quick meet and greet, I left my 4 year old pup in good hands for an overnight stay. Mitch has a nice big fenced in yard for the dogs to play, he was very responsive with his communication and provided photo updates. Would definitely recommend.

I would highly recommend Katharine and Michael. They were very caring kind and knowledgeable. They sent a picture or video every day and walked my dog and cared for her. My dog thrived with them and their family. I would definitely rebook with them on our next trip.

Jill was excellent in keeping our two dogs on the 4th of July. Everything was perfect including a quiet and cool house for our dogs, to a perfect backyard they could sniff around in. Thank you again Jill and if we are back in Milwaukee we will be sure to book with you again.

Sarah was great with Simba! He did one overnight & l she communicated with me very well (sent over pictures & responded fast as well). This was the first time Simba came back home relaxed & happy (not stressed or relieved to be home). Which made us feel very pleased & comfortable that Sarah had taken great care of Simba. We already have upcoming bookings with her !

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
