“Very positive first rover experience for us and Pepper! Cathy was very flexible when Pepper did not want to play and just gave her lots of attention, and made sure the house was comfortable for her on a very hot day.”

“Jessica is very friendly and was great with my cat, Mer. She’s very communicative, provides great updates, and sends lots of cute photos each time she checks out of her visits. I felt super comfortable with Jessica being in my house while I was away and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter! 🤩”

“Kim has great communication and attention to detail. She clearly cares for animals dearly so I felt very comfortable having her check in on my cats. She gave nice updates and pictures.”

“Lindsay did an exceptional job caring for my dog while I was away. She was highly communicative throughout the entire stay, spent quality time with him, and regularly sent updates and photos that gave me peace of mind during my trip. It was clear that she genuinely cared about his well-being and made sure he was comfortable and happy. I would absolutely trust Lindsay with my dog again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

About: I don't actually call myself that, that's what my friends say I am. I've literally never met a dog I didn't get on famously with. I respect the fact that they are individuals with their own needs. I don't mean to sound too self assured with the title, but I earned it from friends. Whether it's running on the Lake Michigan shore or just finding a nice sunny spot to sit for a while, your pup is going to have a fulfilling day. I have huge flexibility so no worries! A last minute trip or planned weeks in advance, we can work something out. I'm here for you! Even same day! I strive for communication as much as possible between animal and human. If they're not feeling like socializing, I don't force anything. Everyone has different needs. My experience in a dog daycare really helped me read and understand dog body language to head off any issues that may arise when you're watching 12 dogs.
“Jessica took great care of my cat! It was clear from the daily cards that my cat warmed up to her quickly, and they spent good quality time snuggling and playing together.”

About: Hi! I'm excited to have the chance to meet your pup(s)! I have personal and professional petcare experience. I have been lucky enough to have had dogs my whole life. I also recently spent 2 years as a professional dogwalker with Wag. I've cared and walked dogs of all kinds, older, younger, pullers, take-their-timers, and can't wait until someone wants me to take their dog for a run! :) I love puppies and helping to train, youtube certified. I have also volunteered at the Humane Society walking dogs there! For boarding, I do have a cat, but can easily separate the areas in my apartment to accommodate. I work full-time 830-5. I have a camera in my place in case of an emergency and work close enough and have amazing flexibility to make adjustments to my schedule. Safety is always the priority. Harness is preferred, but a secure collar/leash is a must. I also tend to avoid other dogs/people at all times to ensure a calm and easygoing visit. I'm very accessible by phone and follow instructions to the dot. I live steps away from the Oak Leaf Trail, so expect lovely and peaceful walks if boarding.
“Lenys was amazing with my beagle. Very flexible and answered a last minute drop-in. She also sent updates and photos. Highly recommend her!! She will treat your baby like her own.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for the past 13 years, starting with walking my neighbors’ dogs multiple times a week and stopping by to let them out when their owners were away overnight. Since then, animal care has been a constant part of my life. I’ve helped care for my own dogs in every way—from off-leash walks and swimming to bathing and attending vet appointments. My family and I have also fostered dogs ranging from 8-week-old puppies to senior pups, giving me experience with dogs of all ages and needs. In addition to dogs and cats, I have extensive experience working with horses. I also have a laid-back tabby cat of my own who’s more like a dog than a cat. I’m a huge animal lover and always care for pets as if they were my own—providing the same attention, patience, and love I’d want someone to give my animals. I’m currently a full-time student at UWM, but I have a very flexible schedule. I attend classes three days a week, and most of my coursework can be done on my laptop. This allows me to spend plenty of quality time with your pet throughout the day and easily accommodate feedings, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I understand that for most people, pets are family, and I treat them with the same love, respect, and attention I give my own animals. When I’m caring for pets , I prioritize their safety, comfort, and routines so they feel secure and well cared for at all times.
About: I can walk and feed your dog. I like hiking so I enjoy walking outside. If you have a fenced backyard, I'll scoop the poop in the whole yard when the dog is doing their business and then play with them in their favorite style of play. I can also drive them for vet, grooming, day care appointments subject to our agreement on these services. I live and work downtown Milwaukee, including some days that I work from home. I have a lot of extra time that I can spend with your animals. I will walk dogs on leashes unless the client has a fenced yard and specifically tells me it is ok to let the dog out there.
About: I’ve joyfully cared for dogs for 15+ years, from puppies to seniors with medications, mobility challenges, and special routines. I used to have my own disabled senior dog, so it’s truly an honor to provide that extra care. ❤️ I know dogs much the way they know us: through years of observation and pattern recognition. I’ve also taken several training courses, including reactive-dog training through OffLeash MKE. I believe dogs are animals just as much as they’re our beloved pets, and I make sure their doggy needs are met with plenty of exercise, stimulation, rest, fun, and love. And yes, expect lots of photos and videos! 😊 🎓 DSHA 🐧 & SMU 🐴 grad I’m a writer and energy healer who works from home, so my schedule is flexible. I get tons of inspiration from dogs and nature, so everybody wins! The care I give is based on your dog’s needs. I pay close attention to body language, boundaries, and our surroundings. At home, it’s just me and my sweet and fun 22-lb, three-year-old, spayed beagle-dachshund, Lucy. A beautiful backyard makes for very fun (and very supervised) sniff time. Plenty of parks, wooded trails, and dog-friendly Lake Michigan beaches are within walking distance. Estabrook's lovely dog park (and more trails!) is a ten-minute drive away. All people and families are welcome with me, and your home and privacy will always be treated with respect. ❤️

About: For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about caring for animals. Whether it’s dog-sitting my neighbors’ dogs, volunteering at the Humane Society, or spoiling my own pup, Lula, I’ve always found so much joy in spending time with animals. As a nurse, caring for others is a big part of who I am, and I’d love to bring that same compassion, patience, and attention to your pets. I’m excited to spend my free time doing something I genuinely love—making sure your furry family members feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away! I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility and availability to care for your pet! I’m available on both weekdays and weekends and am happy to work around your pet’s schedule. I understand how important routine is for pets, so I’ll do my best to keep their usual feeding, walking, playtime, and rest schedule consistent while you’re away. I take the safety and security of your pets very seriously. I would love to meet them and then learn their routine, personality, and individual needs so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to follow their usual schedule for meals, walks, playtime, medications, and rest. I also love giving plenty of attention, cuddles, and playtime when they’re comfortable with it. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe, happy, and loved in their own home
“Hanna was such a great drop-in sitter for my cat Glenn. She provided updates and pictures everyday which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I will absolutely use her again 😊.”

“Ana always takes great care of the pups, and keeps me in the loop with details and photos. They love her too - as they give her all the snuggles, which they don’t give out easily 😅😅”

“Emily was quick and responsive to a last minute drop in request. She provided a thorough note after her visit letting me know how they spent their time and my pup’s behavior and mood. I appreciate her being so responsive and thorough!”

About: Hello! I'm the dog lady you hear about on social media. No matter where I am, I stop to ogle at dogs! I've been around them my entire life and I wouldn't have it any other way. When I was a child my family owned a boarding and grooming kennel in Long Island. My parents have bred collies for 30 years and I've cared for them at all ages. I've been pet sitting for friends as an adult and worked for the Denver Dog Walking Company professionally. I am a full time professional virtual educator, dog mom, distance runner and have open availability to love on and exercise your furry family. Our home welcomes dogs for short and long stays and I'm also available for walks and sits in your own home.
About: To be completely honest, I was afraid of dogs when I was a child. But since my family got our puppy in 2015, my love of dogs has skyrocketed. Now when I see a dog, I have this intuition to pet them, with permission of course. So with my care, there will always be love in the air! A little fun fact about me is that I love to go for walks. So watch out furry friends, the feeling of being worn out is coming your way! I am a full-time student, however, I do have time during the day on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays to hang around with your furry friends! My time range is from 11-3:30. Or perhaps you’re stuck at work late in the night, and your dog or cat has been crossing their legs to use the bathroom, and I am more than welcome to stop by and take them outside any night of the week (after 6 pm)! Just like people, your animal should have food, water, and exercise. I will take your dogs and/or cats on walks and make sure their dishes are filled with water. And give them lots of pets as well, because what animal doesn’t like a little love?
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10. Your dogs are my upmost priority. I have had much practice with walking, feeding, and bathing dogs. It is important for while you are away to have a carefree time. When you book with me, you will get those services! In my line of work, I have pretty flexible hours. The times that best fit your doggie needs, usually can work for me! Booking with me you are able to get the smoothest experience possible. I take this job very seriously. I will be a diligent pet sitter, and ensure the best experience possible. I will like to have a meeting prior to my services. In this meeting I will ask about your dog, their needs, their daily routine and anything that I should be aware of.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Shorewood
Ana gave excellent care to our dog while we were away! She was timely and sent detailed reports and pictures each time she dropped in to take care of our dog. She also gave our dog lots of attention and snuggles! I would highly recommend her for any of her services!

Bria B was exceptional, flexible and amazingly attentive to our dog, Lenny Bruce, and senior cat, Sam. She stayed extra and checked in multiple times when Lenny Bruce was struggling with a thunderstorm. We are so appreciative for her visits and would definitely rebook her for future visits.

Linda was able to come visit my puppy very last minute and I appreciate her availability. She answered promptly to my questions and kept me updated during the visit. I was nervous as this was my first time using Rover, but she was very kind and understanding.

Angela took wonderful care of Elliott during her twice-daily visits. She showed tremendous patience with him and let him warm up to her at his own pace. By her final visit, he allowed her to pet him and take him into the yard—a big accomplishment! She also thoughtfully handled a few extra details around the house. I truly appreciated her reliable and compassionate care. I highly recommend.

Lisa is the best, my dog is a little quirky and does not warm up to new people easily and he let her clean and wrap a wound he got on his leg and let her hand feed him! She went above and beyond in every possible way and I could not have asked for a kinder and more competent sitter for Arrow! Highly recommend!! ❤️

We had a great experience with Travis, and will absolutely book with him again. He was responsive, easy to communicate with, and kept us updated while we were away. Our dogs were happy, healthy, and well cared for when we returned, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.

Jessica was great with my German shepherd, my dog has been going through some health issues and when I went out of town for 4 days I needed someone to come take care of her 3 times a day and mix up her special food, take her for walks and monitor her potty breaks. Jessica was also super flexible with the timing of her visits and made this potentially stressful time super easy for me and my dog. 5 stars. Would reccomend her to anyone.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
