“Carole was amazing and kept our grumpy senior kitty happy and well fed! Our place was also spotless upon our return. Definitely recommend her and her crew to take care of your furry family!”

“Jessica is very friendly and was great with my cat, Mer. She’s very communicative, provides great updates, and sends lots of cute photos each time she checks out of her visits. I felt super comfortable with Jessica being in my house while I was away and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter! 🤩”

“Jessica took great care of my cat! It was clear from the daily cards that my cat warmed up to her quickly, and they spent good quality time snuggling and playing together.”

“Emily was quick and responsive to a last minute drop in request. She provided a thorough note after her visit letting me know how they spent their time and my pup’s behavior and mood. I appreciate her being so responsive and thorough!”

About: I have had experience caring for many different kinds of animals throughout my life, such as dogs, horses, guinea pigs, and fish. I am comfortable and confident with walking, feeding, bathing, etc. I am a full-time grad student, and I also work a part-time job. My schedule is a little different each weekday, sometimes with breaks in the middle of the day. I am available all day, every other weekend. I do not currently care for any pets in my home. I am not currently accepting jobs that require a pet to stay in my home.
“These reviews are tough to give because I’m not actually home to evaluate the individual watching my cute pupper. However, positive things I really enjoyed about Elizabeth is that she stayed in touch throughout the day, sent pictures, and arrived at the times we discussed ?. My pup when I got home seemed happy and safe ?. Would use her again for sure!”

About: I grew up in a family that raised guide dogs for the blind, which gave me experience caring for dogs of all types of personalities. I've also looked after pets for friends and family and I always enjoy spending time with animals. I'm home from college for the summer and have a very flexible schedule with availability most days. Aside from a daily gym visit, I have plenty of time to give pets the attention and care they deserve. I care for pets by following their usual routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, fresh water, and plenty of attention. I'll also follow any specific care instructions and provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
“Jessica did a great job running energy off our active Australian Shepherd. She was content when we got home. PLUS she took an amazing picture of Maisy playing tetherball!!”

About: I am a 29-year-old from Minnesota. I went to the University of Wisconsin, and am currently a Registered Nurse! I grew up with a black standard poodle from ages 3-19, and an apricot standard poodle from ages 19-27. I now have my own golden doodle named Sonny. I love playing, walking, and just hanging out with dogs as often as possible; they always brighten my day. I am willing to cuddle, play fetch, or give your dog(s) treats as often as they would like. I promise to respect your pet(s) and home and do a great job. I love dogs of all kinds and am always excited to meet new puppy pals! I look forward to meeting you and helping you take care of your furry family member. I work a typical Monday to Friday, 8-5 job. It is remote, so I am typically working from home, although I occasionally have to travel outside of the state for work. If your dog is with me you can be assured their needs will be met! I will make sure they are respected and given the proper attention they need. :)
About: My sister and I grew up playing and helping our older neighbors in the area walk and take care of their dogs. My family has had cats my whole life that I’ve had experience taking care of. In high school I’d house/pet sit friends & family friends’ dogs & cats while they were on vacation. A recent graduate of UWMilwaukee with an open schedule! Looking to fill that time taking care of, spending time with, and getting to know your pets! I love the outdoors and I can take your dogs on lots of walks based on their needs! I always check if doors are locked before I leave/sleep & make sure to put away anything that pets can get into if they are left to roam. I stay clean so I make sure to clean any mess I or the pets create. I can also crate your pets if needed.
“Whitney was amazing with our two cats! She left wonderful comments and pictures from each visit and our place was very clean when we came home (usually there is litter everywhere around the litter boxes) ? Will definitely have her take care of them again!”

About: Hi, I’m Brooklyn! I have a cat named Olive, who is my everything. I love all animals, and grew up with my families’ dogs and cats. I have experience parenting my own cats, especially when they are alittle sassy or not necessarily a fan of every human (seems totally fair to me). I also have experience with dogs, living with them my whole life, and I thoroughly enjoy a good walk myself. ☺️ I’m here to make YOU feel comfortable leaving your fur baby, to do what you need to do. I currently work a full time job from home, with flexible hours. I really enjoy going for walks in the mornings and afternoons, no earlier than 7am and no later than 7pm! Although I do not offer to bring pets in my home (due to my own spicy cat), I am happy to come to you and ensure your space is treated with respect!
About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life, dogs all through my childhood and cats all through my adult life. I have experience with caring for multiple animals and training as well. I have an open schedule at the moment, working on school online so I have a lot of free time. I love to walk dogs and sit at your home, as I have a shy kitten at home who doesn’t mix well with other animals. I love to make your animal comfortable, and I understand not everybody’s will warm up to you right away. I make effort to keep in contact with you to make sure your pet’s needs are all met.
About: I’m a very active Shorewood nurse who is absolutely crazy about dogs!!! I look forward to giving your pet the same TLC our 2 rescue mutts enjoy with our family. I love being out and about in our local neighborhoods in any weather (I am a heart MN gal) and am happy to provide a walk, jog, or drop by for some laid-back company. I’m happy and comfortable working with dogs large and small, as we have a Setter-mix and Chihuahua at home. My variable nursing schedule allows me lots of flexibility to help your fury family member almost any time of day. Let’s connect so I can make sure your lovely pets get the attention they deserve while you go about your busy day. I’m a nurse and work night shift. I have lots of daytime and varying flexibility and also a daughter who loves helping and learning about pets just like her mom. I would love and care for your pet as if they were my own, with attention to detail and routine that’s needed to make them feel at home.

Angela was wonderful! She treated our puppies with so much love and care during her drop-in visit. She spent quality time playing with them, giving them lots of hugs and attention, and it was clear she genuinely enjoys being around dogs. She was also very accommodating, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. We felt completely at ease knowing our puppies were in such caring hands. We would absolutely book Angela again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter!

Jessica was great with my German shepherd, my dog has been going through some health issues and when I went out of town for 4 days I needed someone to come take care of her 3 times a day and mix up her special food, take her for walks and monitor her potty breaks. Jessica was also super flexible with the timing of her visits and made this potentially stressful time super easy for me and my dog. 5 stars. Would reccomend her to anyone.

Bria was great with our dog Mallie! We really appreciated her picking up a last minute request from us & taking the time to meet Mallie beforehand. She communicated quickly and left detailed feedback on her visit while we were out, which gave us peace of mind that our baby was in good hands. Will definitely be working with Bria again!!

Lindsay did an exceptional job caring for my dog while I was away. She was highly communicative throughout the entire stay, spent quality time with him, and regularly sent updates and photos that gave me peace of mind during my trip. It was clear that she genuinely cared about his well-being and made sure he was comfortable and happy. I would absolutely trust Lindsay with my dog again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

I was gone for about a week and felt so scared to leave my fur baby in someone else’s hands, but Jackie was absolutely wonderful. She took long walks with Shadow, played with her and fed her. Shadow was happy to have such a great caretaker and my nerves were at ease.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Shorewood with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
