I am a part-time sitter who is providing pet care services in addition to my full-time work. However, as a professor at a local university, I have a very flexible daily schedule and can easily provide pet care during typical business hours. Additionally, I do not work in the summer, which increases my availability from mid-May to September. I am very intentional about the number of clients I take at a time to ensure that I can provide comprehensive care to booked clients.

I believe open communication is most important to be able to provide safe and reliable care for your pets. During our meet and greet, I will ask many questions to ensure that I have a full picture of what caring for your pet requires and how to meet your expectations. As someone who uses a Rover sitter to care for my pets when I am away, I personally understand the trust that is needed to leave your pets in someone else's care. I strive to build trust with clients by showing up when I say I do and following all instructions provided to me. And, it is not just about building trust with you but also your pet! If your pet has any behavioral issues or quirks, it's important for me to know this so that I can ensure safety for your pet and myself. This will help me adjust my interactions with them so I can build trust with your pet and respect their boundaries. The more information I have, the better!

As someone who grew up on a small farm, I have been around a variety of animals since birth. I have experience caring for a variety of species and am comfortable handling any animal. I have volunteered with local animal shelters for over a decade, so I also have extensive experience caring for pets with behavioral issues and medical needs.
