About: Hi! My name is Sam, and I have a huge love for animals — especially dogs. I live on the first floor of a duplex in Riverwest and work from home full-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and lots of time to give pets the attention they deserve. I have two cats and a dog of my own, so I’m very used to different personalities, needs, and energy levels. I’m currently available for dog walking, dog day care, and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. Pets in my care get plenty of cuddles, playtime, exercise, love, and attention. I treat every animal like they’re one of my own. To make sure every pet gets calm, focused care, I take a limited number of bookings each day. I typically take up to two walks or drop-in visits per day, depending on timing and location. If I’m providing dog day care in my home, I usually don’t schedule additional walks or drop-ins that day so everyone gets the attention they deserve. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out! I work from home full time during the week. My schedule is overall very flexible and I provide frequent outdoor time and exercise. My yard is fenced in and secure. Pets I watch are treated like royalty and get lots of attention, exercise, and loving! I allow dogs on my furniture and provide a lot of positive reinforcement.

About: I got a golden retriever right out of college in 2018 and we just added another golden retriever to our family in December 2024. Your dog will be treated just like we treat our Goldens and they will be given the love and attention they deserve! I work full time from home so would be able able to watch your pet the whole time. Your pet will be treated just like I treat my golden retrievers. I have a fenced yard and two very friendly golden retrievers who love other dogs. Your dog would have the time of their life with them.

About: I have worked at a dog kennel (Hickory Hills), for two years! I take dogs out to play, feed them, walk them, and other basic needs!! I don’t currently have any dogs in my home, as I am living on college campus :) I am currently working part time, but have plenty of time to fit more into my schedule! I could work most days of the week! I always act as if a dog is my own, making sure it has the best care!! I wouldn’t want my dog in bad care, so I wouldn’t put anyone else’s in that position.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life. My parents had a total of 5 dogs growing up, all of whom were mixed breed large dogs with different personalities and different needs for their care. For three years, I was the primary caretaker for my parents’ senior dogs when they were out of town, and required special attention and care. I have experience with dogs of all different backgrounds. I have taken care of dogs with behavioral issues, old dogs, sick dogs, and any other kind under the sun. I also briefly volunteered as a dog walker with the Wisconsin Humane Society. I have lived with and become secondary caretaker to four different cats at various points for the better part of the past seven years as well, so I am very experienced with cat care and how to manage a home with both dogs and cats in it. *I am taking a break from taking new housesitting and boarding clients through the months of February and March. If we have previously worked together and you would like to inquire about any availability over that time, please reach out to me via Rover messaging or text me on my personal number* I am fully employed, but I work remotely from home so I have lots of flexibility during the day to spend with your pet. I am also able to stay in your home full time if I have a dedicated workspace. I live on a quiet street in a beautiful neighborhood that your dog will surely love exploring. I live right by the lakefront, parks, and several other recreation areas to explore with your pet. I have two cats, but our large and spacious apartment has plenty of opportunity to section off and separate pets if need be while still allowing them to have their own comfort and space. If you welcome me into your home, I will surely be clean and respectful while also maximizing my time with your pet and making them feel love and attention while their human is away. I take dogs out several times a day, including at least an hour long walks depending on their energy levels. For senior dogs and sick dogs, I ensure I know the nuances and quirks of their daily routines and needs to make you feel as comfortable as you can leaving your pet with me.

This flexibility helps me give your pet plenty of attention, supervision, and consistent care throughout their stay. For everyone’s safety and comfort, we kindly require all pets to have their own crate during their stay. Crates provide a secure, familiar space for your dog to rest and relax, especially during downtime or when we briefly step out. Their safety and well-being are always our top priority. Also provide your pet with their favorite food/treats for their stay. We are also able to provide that for an additional fee.
