Availability
I work 10am-7pm (Mon, Wed, Fri) and therefore will only be available for early morning or late evening walks/drop-ins. Tuesdays and Thursdays I am available in the afternoons. I am available every other weekend. Please check my calendar for weekend availability. PLEASE NOTE: I do not accept house-sits longer than three nights (just a personal preference). I work long shifts and therefore would not be a good fit for dog house-sits unless it is during a weekend that I am off.

I would love to know how they typically react to new people, and what your recommendation is for building a positive relationship. I know all pets have their quirks and would appreciate insight on behaviors to look out for while you're away. I'm happy to bring my treat pouch and a variety of snacks if you recommend.
A typical day
Walks outside or a run to the park is lovely if the weather permits, but when it doesn't, I'm happy to keep your dog entertained inside with a variety of training games and enrichment. I have a Gunner crate in my car and am happy to take your dogs on adventures at the park!

Pet care experience
For the last five years, I have worked at zoos, shelters, and sanctuaries with a variety of animals! In the past I have owned reptiles, and I currently own one dog and three cats. Additionally, I usually have at least one foster animal in my care at all times. I understand that each animal is an individual and will adjust my behavior accordingly. I am happy to be active if your dog is a runner, or a couch potato if they're more of a snuggler! I have experience providing medication and special diets. I am currently working with my dog to decrease his reactivity and my cats on harness training! I am more than happy to do any enrichment or training you request with your furry friend!

Hope stopped in at the agreed upon times and handled all chores including wet food, dry food, litter boxes, and visit/play time with our boys. We're grateful to have her stop by and keep our boys company for a bit while we were out of town!
