Experience with pets of all kinds!
For the last five years, I have worked at zoos, shelters, and sanctuaries with a variety of animals! In the past I have owned reptiles, and I currently own one dog and three cats. Additionally, I usually have at least one foster animal in my care at all times. I understand that each animal is an individual and will adjust my behavior accordingly. I am happy to be active if your dog is a runner, or a couch potato if they're more of a snuggler! I have experience providing medication and special diets. I am currently working with my dog to decrease his reactivity and my cats on harness training! I am more than happy to do any enrichment or training you request with your furry friend!

I ensure that in addition to basic necessities, my animals are given physical and mental enrichment each day, whether it's a training session with my dog or a puzzle feeder for the cats. I am more than happy to do the same for your pets!

Hope was very conscientious from our first meet and greet, taking notes while we talked. She confirmed prior to the start of her services, sent pictures every day, and sent a note on her last day where she would leave my key. She did a great job!
It’s hard to be away from an elderly cat with health issues but Hope makes sure he’s very well taken care of and always brings me peace of mind while I’m away!

Schedule
I work 10am-7pm (Mon, Wed, Fri) and therefore will only be available for early morning or late evening walks/drop-ins. Tuesdays and Thursdays I am available in the afternoons. I am available every other weekend. Please check my calendar for weekend availability. PLEASE NOTE: I do not accept house-sits longer than three nights (just a personal preference). I work long shifts and therefore would not be a good fit for dog house-sits unless it is during a weekend that I am off.
