About: I have grown up with a Goolden doodle my whole life along with working at a vet taking care of many other pets. I enjoy being around animal and looking after them. I well equipped to be around any type of animal. I am home for the summer from college in charge of my dog pet care while parent is working and out of town. My dog is getting older and slowing down so I would love the opportunity to go for walk or run accompanied by a dog. I live in apartment where dogs are welcomed and there is a dog park across the street along with a large piece of grass area where many pet owners take their animals.

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life—I grew up with Bernese Mountain dogs and have loved being around dogs ever since. Growing up in a family where 12+ hour shifts were common, I know firsthand how important it is to have someone you can trust to care for your pet while you’re at work, traveling, or otherwise away from home. As a medical student, I value responsibility, attention to detail, and compassionate care, and I’ll treat your dog with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. It would be a privilege to help provide your pet the fantastic care they need! This summer I am studying for my medical boards exam and accordingly can be flexible during normal daytime hours to help meet your pet care needs! I can be very adaptable to your specific needs, no matter if you live in an apartment, condo, house, etc. I am exceptional at following directions and have sharp attention to detail to ensure things are done the way you like, no questions asked. Whether you need your pet crated, fed, walked, etc, I am ready to help!
About: I’m a dog/cat mom who is a little obsessed with animals and can’t wait to meet yours! Open for boarding in my home, walks, check ins, feeding, etc. I currently have a standard poodle and a mini poodle who are the center of my life (let’s face it, the run my life!). They love guests and would be thrilled to meet your dog and cat while you’re away. I have 20+ years of experience with dogs and cats, able to give medications, provide senior care, and daily walks, play time. I’d love to help give your pet their very best life! I work a very flexible schedule and can usually accommodate your needs. I’m available weekends and most holidays as well. I’ll do my best to work together to find the best schedule for your pet. My dogs have a lovely home and they kindly let me live there too. 😆. The dogs are allowed free run of the house at all times, though I do have crates for when they want some unbothered time, at their choice. I live in a great neighborhood filled with dogs so we meet a lot of friends on our walks, too.
About: We’ve cared for our dog for many years until she passed away. We love animals and love caring for them. Currently we have two cats and two geckos but no dogs of our own. We’re currently not sitting any dogs at our home but are very willing to walk/ spend time with your furry friend. I work nights, my partner works days so there is always someone around to take your dog for a walk, play or to a park. Most times work for us. We live in a very dog friendly community with very large green spaces for us to walk your dog. We have a spacious apartment for your dog to stay in as well as many toys.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and understand that every pup has their own personality and needs. I currently volunteer at a local dog shelter, which has given me experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just some extra cuddles, I’m happy to provide the care and attention they deserve. I’m dependable, attentive, and comfortable caring for puppies, senior dogs, and pets with special routines. I’ll treat your dog like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. As a nurse, my schedule allows me to have weekdays off, giving me the flexibility to dedicate quality time to pet care. I genuinely enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so fitting walks, drop-in visits, and playtime into my routine comes naturally. Whether your pup needs a midday walk, extra attention while you’re away, or just some company, I’m committed to providing reliable and loving care. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I always prioritize safety by following your pet’s routine, respecting any special instructions, and making sure they feel comfortable and secure in their environment. Whether I’m caring for your dog in your home or taking them on walks, I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while maintaining a calm and safe atmosphere. I believe consistency and communication are key, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages to give you peace of mind while you’re away. “Melissa was great! She was flexible and understanding of our puppy’s needs, and we really appreciated her being able to take her on walks and do a midday drop in. She was very communicative and we’d love to use her again if/when we have the need. Thank you so much for your help, Melissa!”

About: I have taken care of dogs of different sizes since I was about 12 years old. Coworkers, friends and family have allowed me to dog sit their furry friends for 3+ days in addition to walking and feeding their dogs. I also trained my family’s rescue collie when he was a puppy. I currently work full time. But I will be able to watch your pup most mornings / evenings and weekends. (8 am - 530 pm) If given instructions, I will follow them perfectly. Your dog is part of your family. And my wish is to make them as comfortable as possible when walking/watching them. This could either be from petting the animal, exercising the dog, or giving the animal distance until he/she is comfortable.

About: I’ve been a pet sitter since I was a kid and i’ve loved every second of it. I know that each animal is different and i’m prepared to give your pet the care it deserves. I’m working part time with a flexible schedule but I am mostly unavailable in the mornings. I will be more available in the late afternoon and night. I have been around dogs my whole life so I am experienced in the needs of dogs in their homes. I always prioritize the pets safety according to their owners instructions.
About: I can walk and feed your dog. I like hiking so I enjoy walking outside. If you have a fenced backyard, I'll scoop the poop in the whole yard when the dog is doing their business and then play with them in their favorite style of play. I can also drive them for vet, grooming, day care appointments subject to our agreement on these services. I live and work downtown Milwaukee, including some days that I work from home. I have a lot of extra time that I can spend with your animals. I will walk dogs on leashes unless the client has a fenced yard and specifically tells me it is ok to let the dog out there.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Milwaukee
Lindsay did an exceptional job caring for my dog while I was away. She was highly communicative throughout the entire stay, spent quality time with him, and regularly sent updates and photos that gave me peace of mind during my trip. It was clear that she genuinely cared about his well-being and made sure he was comfortable and happy. I would absolutely trust Lindsay with my dog again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

I was gone for about a week and felt so scared to leave my fur baby in someone else’s hands, but Jackie was absolutely wonderful. She took long walks with Shadow, played with her and fed her. Shadow was happy to have such a great caretaker and my nerves were at ease.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Milwaukee with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
