About: I’m a regular dog foster and walker at MADACC, so I’m comfortable catering to all different pup personalities and needs! I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was young, from puppies to senior with medical needs. I work remote 3 days a week and have no pets of my own, so I have lots of availability to give your dog the attention and care they need! Whether you’re looking for a walker or somewhere to take your pup for a long weekend, I can make most things work. I have a spacious apartment in a dog-friendly building where your dog will have plenty of space to lounge around! I live close to the Summerfest grounds so I have plenty of access to green space for long walks, or just a quick jaunt around the block depending on their preferences. I treat every dog I care for like my own, so you can rest assured your pup will be well cared for with me!
“We are so grateful to have Jessica care for our pets while we travel! She came through for us very last minute when we had to leave our cats at home unexpectedly. They were not only well cared for but loved too! We will continue to book Jessica when we travel and highly recommend her to anyone in need of an amazing house/pet sitter while you’re away!”

“Leandrea was lovely to work with. She followed instructions well and had excellent communication. My cat was very calm after I returned from my week long trip, which tells me he was well cared for. Thank you so much, Leandea!”

“Chelsea has been an excellent sitter for my two cats, Sebastian and Harper. Shes detail-oriented and very communicative (also sends pictures). I could tell that when I came home, they were comfortable in her care.”

About: I’ve been caring for my own Newfoundland dogs for the past 10 years, as well as have extensive pet-sitting experience with a variety of breeds, from German Shepherds to Dachshunds. I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every pet like my own! Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine! I work remotely, which gives me flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and daytime care. I’m also available for overnight stays on weekends and can provide plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship for your pets. When caring for your pet in your home, I’ll keep their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, and any other care needs, while giving them plenty of attention. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own and keep you updated with photos and messages along the way.
“Amazing experience with Andrew and Taylor. I had a lot of requests and there are details to Seven's care that most sitters and walkers could not or would not do, but that wasn't the case for Andrew and Taylor. Working as a team, they made sure my pup was given ample human time so she didn't feel alone with me gone. Fed according to my instructions without question and walked as early as 5:30 am and as late as 9pm so my daily routine with her was not interrupted. Though I can't give you any first hand knowledge if they showed Seven the same affection I do, I can say that all of us dog owners have an intuition if our dogs are cared for lovingly and I got that sense by the way she was when I got home. I've worked with several sitters and walkers on Rover, and though I'm not knocking any of them, Andrew and Taylor are better than most all of the others combined. You'll feel at ease upon meeting them and they'll make sure they completely understand your requests and needs; but just as importantly, they WILL follow through so that neither you or your pup are in stress. Perfect communication. Perfect execution of my requests and perfect care of my pup and I couldn't be happier.”

“Very positive first rover experience for us and Pepper! Cathy was very flexible when Pepper did not want to play and just gave her lots of attention, and made sure the house was comfortable for her on a very hot day.”

“Jessica was able to come on short notice and even cleaned up my puppies potty accidents on the carpet while helping to potty train. Thanks for watching my still in training puppy and also for taking the time to correct him and clean up after him. I will defiantly be hiring again!”

“Avery was great with my dog! Followed all requests and went above and beyond. She was very communicative and accommodating. I would definitely recommend booking with her and I will again too! :)”

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life! I shared a pitbull/mastiff with my partner for 3 years. I have experience with both big and small dogs, as well as raising a puppy! I love any dog and will treat all with the same love and care. I work 2 jobs and am in nursing school, but I have some available time that I’m looking to do more while also meeting some new furry friends and get outdoors! I treat all dogs with love and care, and I tend to be good with any sort of dog. I find that all dogs usually love me!
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and this is something I enjoy to do on the side, to take care of your pups! I’m working full time during the week, but usually off by 12:00, making me available between 1:00-6:00 to come care for your pet for walking/playing and for them to go outside! As of now, I plan on being available to take your dogs out to go to the bathroom, come play and would love to walk them.
About: I can walk and feed your dog. I like hiking so I enjoy walking outside. If you have a fenced backyard, I'll scoop the poop in the whole yard when the dog is doing their business and then play with them in their favorite style of play. I can also drive them for vet, grooming, day care appointments subject to our agreement on these services. I live and work downtown Milwaukee, including some days that I work from home. I have a lot of extra time that I can spend with your animals. I will walk dogs on leashes unless the client has a fenced yard and specifically tells me it is ok to let the dog out there.
About: I grew up with both cats and dogs, have two spoiled cats of my own, and spend some of my free time volunteering with cats at a local animal shelter. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, snuggles, or just having a friendly human around, I’ll do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I also provide plenty of updates and photos because I always want a million photos of my cats when I’m away from them! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize visits, walks (for dogs), and drop-ins without rushing. I’m able to plan my day around pet care commitments and make sure each animal gets consistent attention, care, and reliability. As I currently have two cats of my own, feeding, playtime, litter box care, and general check-ins are already part of my daily rhythm. On top of that, I volunteer at an animal shelter, which keeps me regularly engaged with different cats and their needs. I provide care in my client’s home through drop-in visits and/or walks, depending on the pet’s needs. I always follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress free while their owner is away. During visits, I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and any medication needs if instructed. I also make sure each pet gets attention and companionship based on their personality, whether that’s active play or quiet company. I treat every home with respect, keep things clean and tidy, and always prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication with pet parents through updates and photos.
About: Experienced in long term pet care, taking care of dogs for extended time periods when owners are on vacation and everyday experience taking care of pets while families are working, including drop ins and dog walks I work remotely and have a lot of free time open during the day for drop ins and dog walks. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Milwaukee
Leandrea took such good care of our senior cat! Her food routine & medication is a fair amount of work and we were worried to leave her for a long trip, but Leandrea did a wonderful job caring for her while we were away. So thrilled we found such a conscientious sitter who so clearly cares about our kitty!

Linda was able to come visit my puppy very last minute and I appreciate her availability. She answered promptly to my questions and kept me updated during the visit. I was nervous as this was my first time using Rover, but she was very kind and understanding.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
