“Courtney is fantastic! She is so great about following my instructions and she’s helped me lit in a pinch more than once. I so appreciate how communicative she is and how great she is with my Miley!”
“Lynette is a great sitter. We have had her take care of our dogs twice now and both times she spent lots of time with the dogs. She also takes great pictures! I would absolutely recommend Lynette.”

About: No kids or pets of my own and a big Jeep means my outdoorsy lifestyle is open and flexible for your fur babies. I'm experienced with dogs from all walks of life. You name it, I'm down for it. I have confident experience with reactive dogs and big breeds especially. I'm a part time barista, working mostly evenings, so morning and mid-day walks work best for me. I am available for night walks after work as well, if that works for your schedule. Weekend boarding is best with advance notice, as I occasionally pick up Friday and Saturday shifts at the coffee shop. I live on the second floor with access to a fenced in backyard. Hardwood floors in home. No kids or other pets of my own. I do have houseplants if your dog is sensitive to soils, fungus, or has a history of plant eating. Crating is an option I'm comfortable with if that's what helps your furry friend feel safe, though my ideal set up is to share my whole space and enriching lifestyle with your pup, or to visit them in their home where they're already comfortable. I'm mobile with the Jeep as well, so we don't have to stick to my neighborhood if your dog is reactive and needs some extra space.
“Angie was great with my little gal, Siggy! Even though she is pretty shy, Angie was patient and gave her plenty of snuggles and love. She was super responsive the whole time, and you can tell she's a genuine animal lover. New go to cat sitter :)”

“Avery was great with my dog! Followed all requests and went above and beyond. She was very communicative and accommodating. I would definitely recommend booking with her and I will again too! :)”

About: I’m a reliable and attentive pet sitter. I provide the exercise, affection, and midday relief they deserve. I treat every pet like they’re my own! Currently I’m working part time only on the weekends, so I have all the time during the week to care for your pets! I’m available Monday-Friday. My cats live the best life in my home. In your home, I care for them as my own and give them lots of love!
“As always, very dependable and my girls love her! Kaia and Pepper were well taken care of and I looked forward to reading the check in notes and seeing their pictures. I can appreciate the thoughtfulness and care Elaine provides. I will continue to use Elaine whenever she is available. 😊”

“Travis helped us with hour-long drop in visits during the work day. We contacted him with short notice and he was quick to reply and help! Very friendly and professional, and he sent us great pictures of our pup.”

“Sarah was amazing!! She checked in on our cat while we were gone and our cat absolutely adored her. Sarah provided tons of photos and updates so it really put us at ease that our cat was getting some love while we were gone. Thank you Sarah!!”

“Berenice took great care of my dogs while I was out of town! She was punctual, provided great updates, and responded quickly. I would definitely recommend booking with her.”

“Kailey was exceptionally patient with our shy cat. Her daily report cards with pictures of feline hiding places were reassuring, and by the end of the week Kailey had the cat coming out to be petted! Kailey's a keeper!”

“Sandy took such great care of our furbabies! She made sure to send pictures and let me know how they were doing every time she stopped by. Thank you so much Sandy! Also, thanks for the adorable gifts!!!”

“Dev was great with my kitties, even my spicy one! Both of my girls need meds and Dev was able to do all the meds, no problem and had great communication! :)”

“Mary is our go-to for animal care when we travel, and we couldn’t feel more comfortable leaving our two dogs in her care. She’s so sweet and treats them like her own, gives individualized attention and truly cares about their experience -and ours- while we are away. Tanner and Wrigley can’t wait to see you again!”

“Chelsea was great! So responsible and caring. Recently, our kitty started needing 2x daily medications. Chelsea gave him his meds no problem and sent pictures during every visit, which we really appreciated. It was nice coming home to fresh water bowls and happy and medicated cats!! Our lady cat who normally gives us lots of attitude when we get home was happy to see us. We will definitely ask Chelsea to stop in on our kitties again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cudahy
Angie was quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. She offers a calm and professional reassurance paired with kindness-- the perfect combo when it comes to someone being in your home and caring for your dog. She's consistent, she's sweet, and she does a great job. I also really appreciated that she always sent photos that clearly demonstrated my dog was enjoying her time. Highly recommend Angie's care.

Devon was absolutely the best. Good communication. Dev actually got on her hands and knees to find my 2 cat under our bed. Got great pictures for me. Rabbit and whitney usually hide from everyone. She was so good with them. I cant thank her enough. Devon even brought our garbage cans up the driveway for us. Im sad she will be leaving wisconsin. But I wish Devon the best of luck on her new endeavors.

I would highly recommend MacKenna! I booked her for twice-daily drop-ins to feed and play with my senior, grumpy cat, and he warmed up to her right away. She communicated consistently, sent great updates, and provided excellent care throughout the entire stay.
Julia has been helping me transition my new 5 month lab/boxer puppy to his new home with her drop in visits. She’s very eager to help practice basic commands, crate train, and get my pup comfortable walking around his new neighborhood. Julia asks great questions, communicates quickly, is flexible, and made me feel comfortable leaving my pup for the first time!

It’s so nice to have peace of mind when I’m traveling that my cat is cared for!! I have a very affectionate cat that loves attention and I can absolutely trust that Adelle is going to give him all the love!!! Would highly recommend Adelle for taking care of your pets!!

- 95% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
