About: Since 2020, I have provided consistent care for a variety of dogs and cats, ranging from energetic puppies to adult dogs with unique personalities and care needs. Through caring for family pets, foster dogs, and client pets, I have developed experience with feeding routines, exercise, leash handling, medication administration, basic behavior reinforcement, and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment while owners are away. My sister's five-year-old Goldendoodle, Theo, has been one of the dogs I have cared for most extensively. I regularly pick him up from daycare, provide overnight and multi-day care, take him on hikes and walks, and reinforce positive behaviors. Through consistent training and positive reinforcement, I taught him to greet visitors calmly by sitting patiently before receiving attention, helping him manage his excitement and practice good manners. In addition, I assisted my older sister with the care of her foster dogs, giving me the opportunity to work with more than 15 dogs of varying breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments. This experience strengthened my ability to quickly build trust with new dogs, recognize individual needs, and adapt my care approach accordingly. Most recently, I completed a week-long house-sitting assignment caring for a dog and cat. My responsibilities included administering medications, maintaining feeding and hydration schedules, providing daily exercise through multiple-mile walks, sending regular photo updates to the owners, keeping the home clean and secure, and maintaining a fresh, odor-free litter box. I take pride in providing dependable, attentive care that gives pet owners peace of mind while ensuring their pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I currently have a flexible schedule to accommodate your dog care needs all throughout the work day, weekends and some evenings as well. I am open to any care needs you have, including at my own house if needed. I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, and any household rules. During walks and visits, I pay close attention to the pet’s behavior, energy level, and surroundings to ensure their safety. I also provide plenty of exercise, playtime, attention, and affection based on each pet’s needs. I keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pets are happy, well cared for, and maintaining their regular routine while they’re away.
“Dean is an awesome dog sitter! We felt so comfortable leaving our dog with him for the night! Dean made sure to send updates and pictures! Our dog had so much fun with Dean and his resident pup! We would be happy to book him again!”

About: I have worked fully remote for 10 years now which has given me the opportunity to devote lots of time to my own dog as well as friends and family! Experience in senior care and medications including oral and injection. Being home every day gives me lots of time for potty breaks, walks and treats. I have a dog of my own, Fern, who is a sweet and mellow 12 yo Bichon Frise. I also live blocks from the lakefront in a very dog friendly part of Bay View! I have staked leashes in both the front and back yard and am always closely supervising potty breaks and time outside. I also have a pet camera so I’m able to monitor when I’m not home for a couple hours.
“Mikeila was great. She sent videos and pics of my pup playing with her baby throughout the day. I was nervous about my pups interaction with little ones because she’s very excitable. But when I saw the videos I felt so much better. My trip got extended further then the initial requested time, Mikeila was so understanding. I will definitely use her again.”

“Absolutely love Alexandrea and my pup does too. Every time I say “wanna go to the babysitters house” my dog immediately gets excited. That’s how I know my dog is in good care. She takes plenty of photos and she also likes to help when it comes to training. Cannot recommend her enough!”

“Erin was an excellent host for Katie for daycare! She greeted Katie outside with a treat. We were updated with pictures throughout the day: including Katie playing with their dogs, relaxing like the queen that she is, and exploring the neighborhood on a walk. Erin was flexible with pickup times which really helped with a changing schedule due to travel delays. Already booked another stay for Katie.”

“We were looking for a dog boarder for an upcoming vacation nd decided to do a test run with Katrina. Our experience was fantastic! Katrina was easy to coordinate with. Is great with communication and updates during the visit. Our dog has separation anxiety, so she was more of a challenge but Katrina had her relaxed and napping in a couple hours. Looks like we have definitely found our go to for boarding!”

“Wendy was super responsive and communicative! She was able to take Jenny last minute for daycare and she got along great with Batman! Highly recommend and will definitely be back if need a sitter in Milwaukee!”

“Yshonda was absolutely wonderful to work with. We were a bit nervous because we have two fur babies with two different personalities and unique needs and Yshonda was very accommodating and flexible and was able to set our minds at ease. The babies are comfortable with her and seem to really enjoy her company. She’s friendly, personable and obviously loves dogs. She’s an amazing sitter and I would recommend her to anyone especially people who have never tried a dog sitter before. Check her out!”

About: I owned a dog growing up and cared for and trained one with my family. I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. With the exception of rare travel days, school drop-offs, and evening events, I will always be around the house to care for your pup. Your pet will get the attention it needs, as I work from home and I have a fenced in yard, as well as young boys that are great with animals. Frequent outside visits and play times are very doable.
“My dog Simba loves going to Kristine’s house for boarding and daycare! It makes me feel at ease that he is having fun, getting exercise, and not anxious there despite his high separation anxiety. Kristine sends pictures and loves all dogs like her own. Simba even knows which house is hers and sprints from the car to her front door! Would highly recommend!!!!”

About: Welcome to my profile! I grew up with a wide variety of pets, so I truly understand how each one has their own unique personality. I know how deserving of love every animal is, and I will do everything in my power to make your pets happy. I treat your pets as my own, while also understanding the need to accommodate to every pet's individual quirks and needs. I recently lost one of my pups to cancer, and because of this, I am really yearning for some more furry friends to meet. Maybe your pet can be my next friend! I recently lost my job, so I currently have a very open schedule! I do have a couple of established clients outside of Rover, but my schedule is still very flexible. I live in a condo-style apartment, so although I do not have a yard, I go on many walks each day- whether around my neighborhood or by driving to a park or beach. I also live just down the street from a dog park, for pups who enjoy socialization and time off-leash. Additionally, I have a patio space for pups who enjoy hanging out al fresco when the weather allows. My own pup is a bit of an escape artist, so I am extra careful with doors, gates, and secure leashing practices. I am also aware of how curious dogs can be, so in my home you can be sure of a safe environment where there are no dangers within a dog's reach (or jump). Not only do I treat your pets with love and respect, but I treat your home with the same care. You can be sure I will keep things neat and tidy, and always make an effort to leave a space cleaner than I found it. No matter the service or location, every animal deserves to feel safe, cared for, and loved. I assure you that I put all my energy into caring for your pets, and I will always treat them as I do my own.

About: No kids or pets of my own and a big Jeep means my outdoorsy lifestyle is open and flexible for your fur babies. I'm experienced with dogs from all walks of life. You name it, I'm down for it. I have confident experience with reactive dogs and big breeds especially. I'm a part time barista, working mostly evenings, so morning and mid-day walks work best for me. I am available for night walks after work as well, if that works for your schedule. Weekend boarding is best with advance notice, as I occasionally pick up Friday and Saturday shifts at the coffee shop. I live on the second floor with access to a fenced in backyard. Hardwood floors in home. No kids or other pets of my own. I do have houseplants if your dog is sensitive to soils, fungus, or has a history of plant eating. Crating is an option I'm comfortable with if that's what helps your furry friend feel safe, though my ideal set up is to share my whole space and enriching lifestyle with your pup, or to visit them in their home where they're already comfortable. I'm mobile with the Jeep as well, so we don't have to stick to my neighborhood if your dog is reactive and needs some extra space.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was in high school. I love them and especially like taking them for walks. I have an ability to quickly connect with most dogs. I have my own very energetic mini Bernedoodle. I’m a teacher on summer break, so currently have a lot of availability for pet care! During the school year, I will be more available late afternoons, evenings and weekends. My cat is not the most welcoming of other pets, so I can’t care for pets in my home at this time. Happy to come to your home.
About: In addition to growing up with family pets, I've been a mom (and step-mom) to two cats and fish for the past four years. I've been a regular point of contact for friends needing dog walks or drop-in care. I'm excited to extend my services and make new furry, four-legged (or no-legged!) friends. I'm a work from home professional and welcome the opportunity to step away from my desk, whether that's to check in on your pets at home or stretch their legs (and mine)! I approach pet sitting with respect for your pet's routine and individual care needs. I believe in regular communication and in providing attentive, detailed care.
“Alexis was very accommodating right from the beginning! About: Married stay at home mom of 3 girls and 1 boy, who loves animals. Pre-covid I was a banquet cook for a living. I have always owned dogs( Pitts and huskys), cats, fish, rats, rabbits, turtles, bearded dragons, snakes, and other animals.. but currently have none of my own.. I'd love to watch others as a way for me to fill the void until I find another forever furpal. I live in a decent sized house with a nice yard so there is plenty of room for animals to roam and stretch their legs. I give animals all the attention they want and need. Couches and beds are free game as long as it's ok with you, I wouldn't want to upset what an animal is used to. At my place there are Treats walks and belly rubs galore. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is open and my routine can be changed to fit what your pup or other animal needs. I have no animals of my own and usually only take one family at a time for boarding and 2 families for doggy daycare unless discussed ahead of time with clients so I can match your pets normal care schedule and routine.
“Alex is reliable, dependable, and flexible dog walker. She’s been able to get our dog to go to the bathroom on walks (our dog always refused before) and to start loose leash walking. Lily loves Alex and waits at the front door for Alex to pick her up on walk days. I highly recommend Alex!”

We know that senior dogs need a different kind of care—less chaos, more naps, and a safe, predictable environment to simply relax. Our home is a calm, quiet sanctuary. With no young kids running around the house, your dog will enjoy a genuinely low-stress environment where they can snooze undisturbed. We take exactly one dog at a time, guaranteeing your pet receives our undivided attention and a personalized, quiet stay. We have a secure, fully fenced-in backyard. It’s perfect for gentle, off-leash sniffing and leisurely sunny naps in the grass without the overwhelming energy of dog parks or busy streets. We have hands-on experience providing attentive, reliable care for dogs. We are entirely comfortable managing the unique pacing, comfort needs, and gentle handling that senior dogs require. To maintain our tranquil environment, we exclusively welcome: Senior Dogs: Ages 10 and up. Medium to Giant Breeds: We love the big dogs! Solo Guests: Only one pet per stay for maximum peace and quiet. If you have a gentle giant who just wants a soft spot to land and a quiet yard to explore, we would love to meet them! Pet care seamlessly integrates into our everyday lives, as we are both home throughout the day most of the week. Brian works from home and Nissa is home full-time, meaning your dog will rarely be left alone and will have constant, quiet companionship. Our weekends are similarly low-key and predictable. On Saturday mornings, Nissa heads to the farm for horse riding lessons while Brian heads out for a weekend trail run for a few hours. During this brief window, your dog will have a safe, quiet, and comfortable space to nap before we return for a relaxing afternoon together. Providing a safe, low-stress environment is our absolute top priority. We purposefully host only one dog at a time to ensure your senior pet receives our undivided attention without the unpredictable energy or stress of multiple dogs in the house. Our home is a calm sanctuary specifically tailored for medium to giant older dogs to relax in peace. We have a fully fenced-in backyard that is secure and perfect for gentle, supervised outdoor time. We always monitor outdoor breaks and ensure the indoor temperature and noise levels remain perfectly comfortable for a snoozing senior.
“This was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t be happier with Dawn and her husband! They were so welcoming at our Meet and Greet and made us feel very comfortable leaving Zeke overnight. She sent us updates and pictures of him having a blast in their back yard, so I could tell Zeke was having a great time. I highly recommend Dawn and will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Absolutely amazing, August had a phenomenal time and is super looking forward to his next stay at their house :) He loved his puppy sitter! They were Very responsive, responsible, honest, and sent plenty of wonderful photos and videos of our pup having a fabulous time.”

“Dean was awesome! It’s clear he loves dogs and Charlie looked like he was having a fantastic time! LOVED all the photos and especially videos he sent. They made me miss Charlie all the more, but it really helped seeing how happy he was.”

“Zachary was very helpful with our dog Otis. He was responsive and asked questions when needed. We felt Otis was in great hands with Zachary. Will use him again!”

“Scott was a wonderful sitter to our dog, Phoebe. Excellent communication, professional, and friendly. He sent us a few pics while we were away to let us know how she was doing, which I especially appreciated. Definitely recommend Scott, and his cute dog Lucy, to anyone looking for a sitter and a playmate.”

“Mary and Fernando were wonderful, they spoiled our Josie pup. Josie loved playing with her two dog new friends! Mary sent plenty of photos and videos throughout the week, which we loved! Fernando even stayed up to midnight for the pickup because our flight was delayed. I would definitely recommend Mary and Fernando to watch your pup!”
