“She was very kind and flexible. Phoenix was in great hands with Katrina, she had lots of fun and exercise. Katrina was great at communication and you could tell she loved watching dogs.”

“Laura was great! Our dog Dolly seemed well taken care of. Dolly got along really good with her labrador Diesel. He is a sweet boy. Highly recommend her and have scheduled for future plans. Theresa W.”

“She provided pictures throughout the day and made sure Apollo felt right at home. I’m very particular about who I trust to care for him, but she made me feel completely comfortable. It meant so much knowing he was safe, loved, and well taken care of. I truly appreciated the updates and the attention she gave him. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Rachel did an amazing job watching our dog! She was very communicative and sent daily videos/pictures of our dog while we were away! She was very accommodating and even dropped our dog off at our house before we got home! i will definitely book again!”

“Blythe and her fiancé were great sitters for Barry! Blythe has great communication and we were able to relax and enjoy our trip knowing Barry was well taken care of. We would definitely use Blythe as a sitter in the future and would recommend her to anyone looking for care for their pets!”

“Mary was easy to work with and took great care of our dog Sonny. He got several long walks and individual attention while we were away overnight. Was sent lots of pics. Sonny came back happy and healthy. Would definitely recommend and will book again when we need a sitter.”

“Kelli was amazing with my dog Dusty!! She sent frequent updates throughout my time away and made me feel very comfortable through the whole process. My dog definitely loved spending time with her. Would highly recommend Kelli and will definitely be using her services again!”

“Everything went perfectly! Elba went out of her way to accommodate Scooby, and I could tell as soon as I picked Scooby up that he was tired from enjoying his stay so much. Thank you!”

“She was very patient with my dogs who have never been away from home. She did so well especially since I have a not so nice chihuahua. Not long after drop off my chihuahua was warming up to her. I’m so glad everything worked out and loved getting updates and pictures ?”

“I'm a first-time user of Rover and am very glad I did. Now I'm not only a big fan, but plan on being a repeat customer of Rover and Debbie L. She was everything one could hope for in a dog-sitter. We met for a "meet and greet" so she could get to know Jules before taking her in. We discussed how I train Jules, her habits and idiosyncracies, her health and medications - essentially everything I believe a caregiver should want to know. While I was gone, she sent daily pictures of Jules enjoying herself. To be candid, I think Jules was hesitant to return to me. Debbie L was awesome!”

“Rachel and Matt took great care of our frenchie while we were gone for 2 weeks. They kept us up to date every day on how he was doing, which was greatly appreciated. He came home tired, so I know they got him plenty of exercise. We would absolutely book with them again.”

“Joe did an amazing job with my dog Ryno. Ryno is very nervous around new people and takes some time to warm up, Joe allowed her to take her time getting used to the new environment and adjust. He did a great job also administering medicine to her while she was at his home. I received at least 2 pictures a day of Ryno enjoying the backyard or lounging around the house. I will use Joe again and would recommend others to use him as well.”

About: I've been around dogs my entire life — in 28 years, there have only been 7 days I've lived without one! I grew up in a home with five dogs, including four Bernese Mountain Dogs and a Sheltie. My family also responsibly bred Berners and Shelties, and I grew up around training, proper care, and learning to understand each dog's individual personality. Today, my own dog is still a huge part of my life. I also prepare homemade food for my dog and have learned a lot through that experience about paying attention to ingredients, sensitivities, age, energy levels, and individual needs. If your dog has a unique routine, dietary preferences, or special considerations, I'm happy to listen and follow the routine you've established for them. I'm comfortable with dogs of different ages, personalities, routines, and needs, and I believe patience and consistency go a long way. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. I treat every dog like they're part of the family — with plenty of attention, patience, playtime, and care while you're away. 🐾 Pets are already a big part of my everyday life. I have always had dogs and currently have three cats of my own, so feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning, and keeping up with their routines are naturally part of my day. I’m also intentional about making time for the pets I care for. I’d rather give a pet my full attention than simply “check a box” and leave. I’m happy to work around their normal routine and give them the consistency they’re used to while their family is away. 🐾 I start by learning your pet’s normal routine — feeding times, walks, medications, favorite activities, boundaries, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. Then I stick to those instructions as closely as possible. I believe good pet care is about paying attention to the little things. I watch for changes in appetite, energy, behavior, bathroom habits, or anything else that seems unusual, and I’ll communicate with you if I notice something worth knowing about. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe and comfortable, not like their routine has suddenly been turned upside down. Whether they want a long walk and lots of playtime or prefer to curl up somewhere quiet, I’ll meet them where they are. 🐶🐱
“Ashlee is amazing with Bosco and sends us pictures of him playing with all his new friends! Hes always so excited when he first sees her which makes leaving him a little bit easier ☺️”

We always monitor outdoor breaks and ensure the indoor temperature and noise levels remain perfectly comfortable for a snoozing senior.
“Teri did a wonderful job caring for Winnie! She sent us daily updates and photos, reviewed all of our care instructions during our drop-off and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t be happier with Dawn and her husband! They were so welcoming at our Meet and Greet and made us feel very comfortable leaving Zeke overnight. She sent us updates and pictures of him having a blast in their back yard, so I could tell Zeke was having a great time. I highly recommend Dawn and will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

We've used Katrina for a day sit, but just had our first overnight. We received updates and photos and the reassurance we needed our girl was doing well and feeling comfortable. With a big trip coming up, we are very relieved to have found such a great fit for us. Highly recommend!

Joe and Ramiro took amazing care of our German Shepherd and Husky for a couple of days. They kept us updated with pictures and how they were doing throughout their stay. When we picked them up, they were calm and happy. I would definitely book them again and recommend them to others.

Mary’s care is 11/10. She cared for our Berry as if she were her own. From our meet and greet to the day we dropped our puppy off, we had no doubt that she was going to be spoiled during her time with Mary. Berry got to go on so many adventures with Mary and she was so thoughtful to send us photos of every moment. We will be booking with Mary in the future!

Dean deserves all the stars!! He made my girl feel very welcome- he is very kind, has good communication, and I would absolutely rebook. He has a wonderful fenced in yard and all of the accommodations to make your furry friend feel spoiled/right at home. I really appreciated the pictures and videos. Thank you for giving Hazel such a wonderful weekend of playing and love while I was out of town!

Erin was AMAZING! She and her pups hosted us for a meet and greet a few days before the 3-night stay and she really put my (and CC’s) minds at ease about having CC stay with a new person. Erin sent so many wonderful photos, videos, updates over the stay. She basically gave CC a vacation that I know she’s looking forward to already for the next one. Will definitely be booking with Erin again.

So kind and accommodating. It was great that she had a dog as it helped mine feel at ease. Sara asked for a meet & greet to make sure we were on the same page. Thank you for taking him to the dog park, his favorite place to be. Will definitely ask to rebook with her if needed on my next visit. Thank you Sara!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
