I am naturally a caring, empathetic, and responsible adult. I believe that you, as the primary pet-caregiver, are the expert on the pet's specific needs. Therefore, I would do best with some basic instruction on the pet to get started. From there, I'll also tune into their needs as best I can; while there is a "language barrier" between animals in humans, I still believe that animals are pretty good at letting us know when they are in need. I also believe in positive reinforcement, setting up for success, consistency, and love/understanding to best care for pets.

A typical day
I’m a pretty active person and enjoy walking alone, but enjoy it even more with a dog. I’m up for a slow sniff stroll or a speed walk. I’m also down to play with pets in the home when needed, or simply coexist for a bit.

Pet care experience
I have been the go-to pet sitter in my family since I was about 15 years old. I have loved pets all my life (mostly dogs and cats), and they tend to love me back. Have spent many years living with dogs and cats, but currently do not have any of my own. I believe that meeting animals is much like meeting humans, we each have our individual personalities and preferences, and we should meet each other where we are at. I am a single adult and I work from home, so I have lots of time and energy to devote to caring for (and loving) other's pets. Have assisted in helping with reactive dogs and fully believe in helping to set them up for success as much as possible. Open to dog-walking and pet-sitting. My schedule is pretty flexible:)

Reviews
Kelsey was great. She's very dependable. She's also a very happy person and easy to communicate with. We will hire her again the next time we go on a vacation. Our pet has a few issues, but Kelsey seemed to handle them well. Thanks, Kelsey!

We love Kelsey! She always helps us out when we’re in a crunch. I trust her fully.

Kelsey was wonderful! On time and very easy to make arrangements with. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Kelsey helped us out last minute and it was so appreciated! She was professional, flexible, and took great care of our pup ❤️ Thanks Kelsey!
