Pet care experience

Tons of pet experience and love

After working at a horse stable through high school and college I began professionally working with cats and dogs (and bunnies and birds) at a boarding/grooming business in Glendale and did every role possible there- kennel cleaning, scheduling, customer service, grooming, supervising daycare, exercise for long term boarders. It was great but I wanted to be somewhere where I could have more one on one time with the pets. After a year there I found a small business in Bay View where I got tons of group and one on one time with animals. Much of my time was dedicated to going to clients' homes to pet sit and walk their dogs. At this business I became assistant manager and loved what I did. After a year and a half I had learned so much but finally had a chance to get a job with my degree of Geophysics. After a few years of working full time without visiting pets I realized that they are my passion. I currently work for a local humane society and am always up for Rover gigs and meeting more animals when I am able. I am experienced in administering insulin in cats and dogs large and small. I've used numerous techniques for oral medications so that I find what works best for your pet. I've walked blind dogs and also some that were deaf or both. I'm trained in the ways of cat hiding and will track them down if they are shy to assure you they are ok. I also have experience walking dog aggressive, leash reactive, and special needs dogs. Rest assured I'll care for your pet as my own and come with tons of experience to make both of you happy. Pet first aid certified through WVRC. Fear Free certified. Fetchfind certified. Feel free to contact me regarding fees for numerous pets.

Kim is incredible! We feel so comforted when Kim is staying at our home with our two dogs when we are on vacation. She is an excellent communicator and we get the cutest pictures and updates and know they are in the best hands. We are so grateful.

Kim was incredible! Throughout our trip we had excellent communication - she provided us with frequent and adorable updates and pictures. We were able to enjoy our vacation because we knew our boys were being cared for so well. We came home to very relaxed and happy dogs. ♥️ And Kim really cared for our house as well. We wholeheartedly recommend Kim, and appreciate her so much.

Kim has been the perfect pet sitter for us the past couple years and that’s why we continue to use her while we are gone. She is responsive, thorough, trustworthy, and truly cares about our two cats!

Amazing care for our pets! It was bitterly cold, so our dog wasn’t super interested in long walks but Kim brought out some puzzles and toys for additional brain stimulation. Our dog is now hooked on puzzles 😂

Any background you want to give me would be wonderful- don't feel like you'll overload me on information. If you want to keep it basic that's fine too. It is especially handy to know if your dog is reactive to anything- even if it only happened once. Any known allergies are also great to know, I like to keep treats with me.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
