My name is Elba, I have been with Rover for a few years now. And have enjoyed the privilege of caring for all kinds of furry family members. Gentle giants such as Irish wolfhounds, puppies that are still teething, to older low energy let's just hold me kind. Whatever category your furry family member fits into, I do my best to find different ways to keep them entertained and challenge them mentally. One of my favorite activities to do is finding pet-friendly locations so that your pup is well socialized. I am lucky to live near the Oak Leaf Trail and Seven Bridge's Milwaukee public park areas. My dogs receive two to four walks per day and I always enjoy more friends along with us! As a pet owner myself, I know personal attention is important. I will not compromise quality time with anyone that stays with me! We typically only take up to 2 large (up to 50lbs), medium, or small dogs per stay to ensure everyone gets their personal attention. We prefer to have dogs that have recently had a bath, and ensure that they have been given flea/tick prevention. I do ask for pups to be on preventives year round. I do this due to having clients that travel with their pets to warm areas of the country. If life has gotten busy and you just have not had the mental head space to deal with a wet dog, we would be happy to help. I offer bathing services as well. I look forward to meeting everybody! I am currently working part-time. Leaving me with plenty of time to spend with your pup. There will be time for walks, fetch, exploring trails, or simply cuddle and nap. I have a fenced yard and pups have access to all of the house. I also have baby gates to provide safety for my older pups, pups with disabilities such as blindness, and young pups that are still learning boundaries.

Elba was amazing. We have 2 cats who both need medication, and one is a little spitfire. She was reliable and managed to give the cats their meds twice a day as we asked! Her pictures were wonderful too.
Elba is wonderful! She just watched my senior dog Fern for the first time while I was on a 5 day trip and I was able to fully relax and not worry as I received daily photos and updates from her. Fern felt so comfortable with her also and got lots of love, attention and walks not to mention receiving all her daily meds on time. I will definitely be using Elba’s services again!
Elba was wonderful with our pups! Very prompt and a great communicator
We did multiple days of doggy daycare leading up to an 11 day boarding stay and my dog had a wonderful time! I could tell she was very cared for and was happy and healthy. She had a great time and I was able to enjoy knowing she was so comfortable!
Elba was absolutely amazing!! She was very thorough and made sure she had all the information she needed to care for out two 6-month-old Golden Retriever puppies for 24 hours at our house. We received numerous updates and lots of pictures during her stay with them. And our house was left in the same condition as we left it. We will definitely reach out to her again!

Schedule
My current schedule is as follows; On call Wednesdays and Saturdays. I work as a receptionist at a vet clinic. I am home full time for the most part of the week.

Safety, trust & environment
I do my best to follow owner instructions. If you are the type of owner that has a written schedule or instructions, great that is very helpful. If not I do ask lots of questions about the routine you and your pet have. I will also ask lots of questions regarding behavior in the home and out on walks.
