About: I volunteer at a dog shelter that deals with all ages and comfortably around new people. This allows me to pick up on dogs needs and adjust accordingly. I am currently working full time 4 days a week. This allows me a more flexible schedule to help take care of dogs through the week and weekends. I have experience with dogs that bolt when doors are opened outside and know how to block them properly. When helping with potting breaks they can be play breaks to get rid of excess energy. About: I have extensive experience caring for other people’s pets! I enjoy caring for dogs of all sizes and cats of all temperaments, and I have experience with administering medication. As someone who works regular hours Monday — Friday, I am a better fit for a dog who is okay to be home alone throughout the day (~9 hour period). “Overall things went well. Dogs were not stressed when we arrived home after she dogsat our three dogs for two nights. She also swept the floors before leaving (which is something we said she didnt need to do as we know the Huskys cause explosions). My only thing would be communication, the inital communication was great, I wish she had communicated a bit more for our meet and greet as she was late, which is fine as she was at work but I had to be the one to reach out to find out what was going on. I also wish there was inital communication upon arrival and final communication when leaving. Even an overall on how the dogs were/how things went when she left for the final time. The dogs seemed happy though when we returned and that is my biggest concern, and im sure is the same for others.”
About: I have had dogs and helped to care for them for my entire life. Including maintaining proper feeding schedule, walking and exercising dogs, playing with dogs, comforting dogs, etc… I frequently dogsit (including overnight stays) for my nephew puppy (Theo, mini bernedoodle), who is now 11 months old but have been helping with him since we was 2 months old. I will be getting my own mini dachshund puppy in August! :) I currently work full-time as a nanny. However, my schedule will be changing in August, as I will be opening my own coffee shop in September. With my current schedule, I would be available early mornings (before 7/8am usually) or evenings (after 4pm usually). I am wide open on weekends. In August, my schedule will remain the same, though I will also be wide open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In September, when the coffee shop opens I will be flexible Saturday-Monday and available after 2:30pm the rest of the week. In your home, I will always follow your established rules for your pet. I am comfortable using harness and leash, overseeing pets in a fenced in area, walking dogs, administering medications, feeding dogs, playing, etc.
