About: I have had both cats and dogs since I was born and have lots of experience providing care for many ages, behaviors, and disabilities. Over the last few years, I have aided with foster dog care, and while it can be challenging, it is very rewarding. Over the last few years, I have seen seniors, puppies, and pregnant dogs come through the home, and I always try to provide the best care I can while trying to find homes that are a good fit! I am working a part-time job at Carthage College and have ample time to help provide care. During the weekdays, I am quite flexible with my availability. On weekends I have lots of flexibility as well in order to provide ample support and care for pets. I am very active, so I am more than willing to provide walks and activities for your pup! If your dog needs medication, I am able to administer it when needed. I can also provide time outside and around the home if the dog must be in a crate.

About: I have been pet sitting for over twelve years now and love doing it!! I have worked as a kennel assistant for the last two years. Through this I have gained a lot of experience caring for a wide variety of dogs, and learning all there is to know about them! I also have two dogs of my own so I know just how much they become a part of your family, which is why loving and competent care is so important for them! I cannot wait to meet and love on your fur babies :) I’m currently working a full time 9-5 position, so if that fits with your dogs schedule then perfect! I of course make your pup the priority, taking them out and getting their daily exercise in before and after work. Whatever the needs of your pup are is what I’m here to give them! I am more than willing to care for your dog in your home however they are most comfortable! Whether that be crate training, daily walks/runs or just good quality time and cuddles on the couch :)

About: I volunteer at a dog shelter that deals with all ages and comfortably around new people. This allows me to pick up on dogs needs and adjust accordingly. I am currently working full time 4 days a week. This allows me a more flexible schedule to help take care of dogs through the week and weekends. I have experience with dogs that bolt when doors are opened outside and know how to block them properly. When helping with potting breaks they can be play breaks to get rid of excess energy. I have experienced teaching dogs to walk on a leash with and without a harness.

“Overall things went well. Dogs were not stressed when we arrived home after she dogsat our three dogs for two nights. She also swept the floors before leaving (which is something we said she didnt need to do as we know the Huskys cause explosions). My only thing would be communication, the inital communication was great, I wish she had communicated a bit more for our meet and greet as she was late, which is fine as she was at work but I had to be the one to reach out to find out what was going on. I also wish there was inital communication upon arrival and final communication when leaving. Even an overall on how the dogs were/how things went when she left for the final time. The dogs seemed happy though when we returned and that is my biggest concern, and im sure is the same for others.”
