I believe that communication is the most important aspect of pet care - I want you to be able to trust that your pet is getting the highest quality of care at all times and that you can be comfortable leaving your fur babies with me (in your home). I also prefer to build trust with pets overtime with reoccurring visits and love to send updates to provide you reassurance while you are away! :)

I follow each pet’s specific routine closely—please share feeding, walking, and medication schedules. I’m happy to accommodate special needs, but please let me know in advance if possible. I don’t require meet and greets, but definitely recommend them for our more anxious furry friends! And I’m also always happy to chat through Rover messages or a quick call if our schedules do not align. I understand that every pet is unique, so I make sure to get all the important details beforehand to provide personalized, reliable care. This helps me stay flexible with scheduling while still giving your pet the attention they deserve.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, engaged, and comfortable! For dogs, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and exploring local parks if they’re up for an adventure. If your pup prefers a more relaxed vibe, I’m also great at giving belly rubs, brushing, or just hanging out and keeping them company. For cats, I’ll bring out their playful side with toys and laser pointers, or provide a cozy lap and quiet companionship. I always tailor activities to your pet’s energy level, personality, and routine—whether they’re playful, shy, or a little bit of both!

I have a Bachelors degree in Animal Behavior with over 10+ years of animal care experience. I currently work full-time as a zoo educator and have a husky/lab and 2 cats of my own! My experience consists of 8+ years pet sitting professionally (but have owned a variety of pets my whole life), multiple animal-care internships (humane society behavior department & wildlife rehabilitation), and 5 years in the zoo setting. I am a highly motivated and energetic pet sitter who is happy to provide lengthy walks for those in need!

Hailey went above and beyond to ensure my dog, Sam, had a walk with her. When I provided the wrong lockbox code thanks to a typo, she used all of her resources to ensure she could still complete the visit. This was extra work for Hailey that she should not have had to do, but she figured it out while I was tied up at work, and sent a detailed report with many photos of my dog. Hailey is highly competent and independent and clearly knows how to solve a problem should one arise while your pet is in her care. I will absolutely be working with her again. Great first Rover experience!
Hailey did such an amazing job taking care of our two cats while my husband and I were on vacation! She gave us detailed updates every day and sent lots of pictures, giving us total peace of mind while we were away.
