Safety, trust & environment

Although I do not allow pets to come into my home, I ensure that the location the clients pet will be around - appears safe and no possibility of losing the animal. This may include keeping the dog on a leash at all times and constantly checking the surroundings.

Information Elizabeth H. would like to know about your pet

The most important information I would ideally like ahead of time would be the dogs demeanor. If the dog is cautious and often a nervous friend around new people, I would want to be aware in order to go slower than normal when greeting and to ease the dog to acclimate to me.

A typical day

My goal is to entice the dog to play as much as possible/needed, this can include tossing toys around and being active outside. I like to explore areas around the clients house to figure out the best place to walk with the possibility of always switching up our walks so they never get boring.

Pet care experience

Hey there. My name is Elizabeth! I’ve been working for Rover for over 8 years - I’ve been around animals all my life with previous pet store experience for 5 yrs (including puppies + kittens) - I’m also in the veterinary field as an assistant for the past 5 years. I’m currently enrolled in college as a Veterinary Technician. My main option on here is dog walks, although I also offer drop-ins. I normally work Mon-Fri with various days off in between, I'm typically available in the evening hours along with weekends. Special skills include being able to take care of dogs with no hassle, medicated as needed, being able to be-friend dogs easily and a big help to cleaning up; yard or house (after dog mess). I love spending time with pets in general, as if they were my own. ❤️

Elizabeth was fantastic!! Prompt and engaged. I’m pretty sure my pups now love her more than they love me. 11/10 would recommend.

Elizabeth was so sweet and helpful with our shy kitty. It was a relief to know she was in good hands during our time away from home.
