Communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was so flexible when our flights changed, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. She even sent pictures without us asking which we absolutely loved and really appreciated. Her kids and mother were incredibly kind and Riley also got along so well with their dog, Annalise. Riley isn’t around other dogs very often, so I was a little nervous, but they did great together and it made me so happy to hear how well she adjusted. I know what to do in different situations with dogs and cats because I have babysat dogs and cats before. I have a lot of free time to properly take care of your animals. About: Primarily had two wonderful cats. The first is Ghost who I raised from when she was abandoned and the size of my hand until she passed away at age 19-1/2. The second is Harmony which we adopted and raised from age 3-ish to 18-ish. From time to time I have checked in on friends cats while they are out for basic feeding/kitty litter things, along with some socialization/cuddle time. We have two+ dogs at any time and haven't had cats in a few years, so care would only be at your home just to keep things good for my household.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals of family and friends and always insured to give them so much love during those even small, short visits! I grew up with dogs, and when I was able to have a pet of my own, I got a very large orange cat! About: I've had multiple dogs over the last 30 years. Mainly Bull Mastiffs, Border Collie Mix, and multiple Pitties. We lately have been adopting older dogs to give them the best end of life possible. For friends I've watched many smaller to larger dogs, comfortable with all. I have experience with all sorts of meds and care, although I prefer to stay away from anything with needles when possible. We've been to the vet more times than I can count, and have gotten good at understanding/reading dog behavior and signs of distress. I have experience with all soft of personalities...shy or alpha, lazy or rambunctious, etc. I like to understand them and work with them where they are at so they enjoy themselves and are happy. I'm a pretty calm presence and in general dogs trust me right away. My wife will joke that I am a dog whisperer as dogs tend to follow my lead easily, but I think it is simply being confident and projecting that you are there to take care of them. I have a very flexible work schedule and am home most of the time. I only have 1 dog right now (Oscar, 82 lb Pitty who loves everything and everyone...he walks around with soft toys like they are his dolls), but will likely be back to 2 in the near future. I walk my pup(s) pretty much every day. We live near Hart Park and the Oak Leaf Trail so getting out to walk along the river/parks is very easy. New to doing this formally rather than just for friends. Normally watch friends dogs at their place. If we take care of your pup in our home, we will always have 1+ pups that will be other-dog friendly. My wife and I have a small Tosa home but fully fenced-in yard to be able to let them out at any time day or night without worry. We have a small main floor but it has 3-4 dog beds and multiple toys (prefer dogs who are ok with soft toys, as our pup(s) don't rip those up. Will likely prefer caring for your pup in your home, it simply mitigates the crowding in the house and any potential conflicts. If I look after any cats, those would be at your house. We no longer have cats and aren't prepped for that in any way.

I board friends' dogs in my home all the time, and am now excited to move into boarding strangers' dogs here on Rover! I work full-time, a mix of in-office and at home. I work from home on Thursdays and have flexibility on Fridays, so it works best for me to be able to provide boarding on long weekends (Thursday-Sunday). I am happy to provide your pet with seamless care and match what they are used to in your home. I have a large yard and a quiet neighborhood. My home has many rooms and I have some gates so that I can separate pets if needed. I also have a puppy play pen for smaller/younger pups who need their own space.
About: I've been around dogs all my life and love giving them plenty of play time and attention. I also just recently gained experience with puppies. About: Ive taken care of dogs since I was little. From puppies to seniors, I’m experienced in all stages of life. Seeing dogs happy brings me so much joy. I love being playful with pups but also gentle and caring. I am studying my work but I do have plenty of free time to take care of animals. My schedule is fairly flexible whether it’s early mornings, mid day or evenings. Pups need playtime! I’m always willing to play- having their favorite toy, a fenced backyard or a leash is all I need. I love giving dogs scratches and belly rubs. If needed, I could crate them up/put is designated area.

I have owned three for many years, raising two from being puppies, and addressing challenging behavior with an older doggo, in addition to fostering multiple rescue dogs. I recently moved to WI, and my pets stayed home with my partner for now, and miss my furry companions and want to provide love and care for yours while I’m here! I can easily crate, take out for potty breaks, etc. I am also mindful of dog reactivity regardless of my own or neighbor’s dogs.
About: I’ve taken care of many animals of family and friends and always insured to give them so much love during those even small, short visits! I grew up with dogs, and when I was able to have a pet of my own, I got a very large orange cat! I’m comfortable around all dogs and I am willing and wanting to adapt to the needs of your furry friends. My time will be towards making your pet as comfortable and is happy as can be whether that is going on walks or even going to the park. I was previously available throughout June but since beginning a new job, I will be available on the weekends/weekday mornings/weekday evenings for drop-ins and walks! Just let me know what you need! When in your home, I would love to take your furry friend on a walk, to the park, or anything else that you do that makes your pet comfortable and happy!
About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life and have had the honor of caring for others pets as well! I have cared for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, horses, and birds! I am currently in school and find myself with a lot of free time! I enjoy going for walks and playing with my cat that lives with me! I live in a gated community with a fenced in dog yard! About: I would squeal when I saw my dog every morning. It made him so happy to see me, he'd pee! That's how much I love them and they love me! I've taken care of dogs for most of my life, even through some pretty serious health issues. I had to leave our family pets at home in Wisconsin when I came to California for college. Playing with your pets and taking great care of them will help fill a void in my heart. Life is just better with dogs in it! I am a college student and kept my schedule open to have time for a part-time job. I am available during the week and weekends and can be flexible depending on your needs. I know how important it is to exercise dogs, especially big ones, so if they need exercise, I'm super active and would love to go for walks or play fetch. If rest and snuggles is what your pet needs, I'd love to do that, too. And I'll make sure to clean up any messes they make when I'm with them.
