Riley isn’t around other dogs very often, so I was a little nervous, but they did great together and it made me so happy to hear how well she adjusted. About: Grew up an animal lover with multiple dogs and cats over the course of my life. Long story short, I have experience with puppy life, shelter life, low energy, high energy, etc. I just love animals and look forward to taking care of yours I work full time as a school counselor but understand what it takes to be a healthy dog owner. This means a walk in the morning before I leave, a walk when I get home after work, and depending on a lot of other factors maybe one late maybe not. On weekends I'm a a homebody which is why I signed up for this. I will get out of the house to walk my girl or take her on an adventure to the dog park, trail walk, etc. Otherwise I like just hanging out and playing video games. My girl has a crate in the family room but I also repurposed a spare bedroom into a doggy friendly room. I wasn't using it for any reason so figured why not make it dog friendly for my girl and others. I also have a fenced in yard that I can easily let her and other dogs out. It is big enough to be able to throw a ball around as well.
About: Primarily had two wonderful cats. The first is Ghost who I raised from when she was abandoned and the size of my hand until she passed away at age 19-1/2. The second is Harmony which we adopted and raised from age 3-ish to 18-ish. From time to time I have checked in on friends cats while they are out for basic feeding/kitty litter things, along with some socialization/cuddle time. We have two+ dogs at any time and haven't had cats in a few years, so care would only be at your home just to keep things good for my household.

About: I have grown up with Golden Retrievers my whole life as my dad hunted with them and trained them for Field trials. We always had three in our home. Once we even had a litter of puppies and there is nothing better than puppy kisses. I personally have had two Black labs, one that was so content to lounge and be a couch potato and my current lab at 8 years old fools everyone into thinking she is 2 or 3 with how active she is. Because of her I understand the importance of walks and her needing lots of exercise, new sights and smells. I have a flexible work schedule and typically only work 3 days a week so I can be there to ensure your pup gets what they need. About: Hi, my name is Abby! I am looking for a flexible summer job before I start full-time as an auditor in the fall, and I thought animal care would be a good match! I have had many pets throughout my life. There was always at least one dog and one cat at a time, usually many more. I have a deep, genuine care for all animals, and love to give them the love and attention they deserve! This summer I am studying for my CPA license! I have some vacations sprinkled in for the summer as well, but beside those and studying for a few hours a day, I will have plenty of time to take care of and play with your pets! I am available Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm, weekends and hourly exceptions available upon request! My complex unfortunately does not allow pets, so the caretaking would be happening in your home or neighborhood. I will be respectful of your house rules and rules for your pet. About: I've had multiple dogs over the last 30 years. Mainly Bull Mastiffs, Border Collie Mix, and multiple Pitties. We lately have been adopting older dogs to give them the best end of life possible. For friends I've watched many smaller to larger dogs, comfortable with all. I have experience with all sorts of meds and care, although I prefer to stay away from anything with needles when possible. We've been to the vet more times than I can count, and have gotten good at understanding/reading dog behavior and signs of distress. I have experience with all soft of personalities...shy or alpha, lazy or rambunctious, etc. I like to understand them and work with them where they are at so they enjoy themselves and are happy. I'm a pretty calm presence and in general dogs trust me right away. My wife will joke that I am a dog whisperer as dogs tend to follow my lead easily, but I think it is simply being confident and projecting that you are there to take care of them. I have a very flexible work schedule and am home most of the time. I only have 1 dog right now (Oscar, 82 lb Pitty who loves everything and everyone...he walks around with soft toys like they are his dolls), but will likely be back to 2 in the near future. I walk my pup(s) pretty much every day. We live near Hart Park and the Oak Leaf Trail so getting out to walk along the river/parks is very easy. New to doing this formally rather than just for friends. Normally watch friends dogs at their place. If we take care of your pup in our home, we will always have 1+ pups that will be other-dog friendly. My wife and I have a small Tosa home but fully fenced-in yard to be able to let them out at any time day or night without worry. We have a small main floor but it has 3-4 dog beds and multiple toys (prefer dogs who are ok with soft toys, as our pup(s) don't rip those up. Will likely prefer caring for your pup in your home, it simply mitigates the crowding in the house and any potential conflicts. If I look after any cats, those would be at your house. We no longer have cats and aren't prepped for that in any way.

About: I’ve taken care of other people’s dogs & cats for the last seven years- jobs have included reoccurring/scheduled drop in-visits & dog walking, basic grooming, overnight visits (both in clients home & my own home), and more! I have fostered cats in the past, volunteered at the Whitewater Cat Cafe (Sip and Purr) and volunteered at CARE Animal Hospital-related vet/marketing events. I have also owned small animals like rats, hamsters, fish, and leopard geckos. I also have numerous positive referrals outside of Rover if you are looking for more reviews! I work full-time remotely in Wauwatosa and have a flexible schedule to care for your animals. My dog has had limited exposure to cats, so really appreciated the time MJ took to introduce Brooklyn to his cats and ensure they were ok. He enjoyed playing with her dogs & we could definitely tell that he wasn’t so worked up to come home (we have tried boarding locations in the past & he is very eager to get out of there asap & has never truly enjoyed that type of environment). We are very happy that we found Savannah to care for him ! The communication was great & and we are just happy that Simba had a safe/fun experience. “Scott, Ashley and family take such good care of our 92 lb. Weimaraner, Hank. He has a lot of energy and always does well when with the family. He gets at least 2 walks a day in addition to play time in their large fenced in yard. Hank recently stayed with the family for 25 days which is the longest we’ve left him with any sitter. Everything went very well. Scott is great about sending pictures and updates daily.”
