“Sabine was great. She took care of my big girl Maine Coon Suka. She was professional and you could tell she loves animals and that she new how to interact with cats. Suka came up to her and let her pet her on the meet and greet. I would hire Sabine again.”

“Julia was amazing with my senior cat while I was away. She sent detailed updates and took lots of adorable photos, and my cat seemed to have a great time visiting with her. I will be using her in the future whenever I can!”

About: I’ve been around dogs lots growing up despite never having one. They’re an absolute treat to be around ! I had worked with a wide variety of dogs when I was working at the following doggy daycares: Crate Escape (worked for 1yr) and Gibsons Natural Pet (worked for 6 months). They had me do some general training with dogs through working with Crate Escape. Along with doing some house/dog sitting for friends of the family and clients from doggy daycares. I treat all animals as if they are my own and give them all the love and attention possible! I work for myself at the moment. So I am very available and more than happy to spend as much time as needed with your fur baby! I’m free Mon-Sun anytime after 9am. I like to make sure every dog I take care of gets 3 walks a day and try to get them tuckered out. Unless they are elderly or have any joint pain, in which case I’d take them for more gentle walks. Of course more than happy to give them lots of love! Love snuggle up with dogs on a couch and taking it easy. After a few visits with your fur baby I like to get them some treats. I’m very detail oriented so if I see your fur baby acting unusual I’ll be sure to let you know! Typically I send photos everyday of your dog. Along with a little blurb update of what we did and how they’re doing. If you would like updates less than that, please let me know! Depending on how long of a stay I’ll usually pickup/clean the space and put it back how you left it.

“My cat loves her and she knows how to get him to eat his food and interact a little instead of just sleeping. I feel confident when I have to go away that he will be okay.”

About: I have experience caring for senior pets, including a 19-year-old dog and a 22-year-old cat, and know how to provide them with the extra love and attention they need. I’ve also looked after pets with unique challenges, like those who aren’t friendly with kids or other animals, as well as pets with conditions like deafness, blindness, or dementia. I always adapt to what each pet needs to make them feel comfortable, happy, and safe. I’m also used to managing multiple pets in one home and have cared for all kinds of animals—lizards, turtles, fish, and more. The only animals I don’t handle are snakes and spiders (they make me a little nervous), but other than that, I’m ready to help. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they’re well cared for. My experience with senior pets and animals with special needs sets me apart, and I’d love to help care for yours! As an 18-year-old high school senior, I’ve worked pet care into my daily routine by being available early in the mornings from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM and later in the afternoons from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM on weekdays. On weekends, I’m more flexible and can visit between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM. I’ve planned my schedule to make sure I can provide dependable care while balancing my schoolwork. Most visits are 15 to 30 minutes, but I’m happy to adjust for longer walks or extra playtime if your pet needs it—just let me know! When caring for pets in my clients' homes, the majority of visits include feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter, going for a walk, and playtime. I can also help with household tasks like bringing in mail and packages, as well as opening and closing curtains or turning lights on and off to make the home appear lived-in. Each visit is customized to meet the specific needs of your pet, whether it’s extra playtime, a longer walk, or special care for senior or special-needs pets. I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets at the same time if they live in the same household. At the end of each visit, I provide a summary of what happened and send multiple pictures of your pet so you can stay connected and know they’re well cared for while you’re away.

“Anna took great care of our Ombre cat while we were away. She was very responsible & trustworthy. She followed all our directions, spent time doing things our cat loves (like going outside), checked her litter box and provided updates/pictures. We are so grateful and would definitely book her again!”

“Danielle took great care of our cat. She’s very communicative and quick to respond. She was friendly during our meet and greet and sent photos of our pet while we were gone. He doesn’t need any special care but she took care of all the basics for us. I felt that our kitty was in good hands and i would book with her again!”

“She was WONDERFUL! we met briefly beforehand so she could see the cats in person and their feeding set up. She sent photos every day that let me know the cats were safe and happy and healthy. I appreciated her communication style and thoughtfulness. I'll definitely book her again!”

About: I am ready and excited to do whatever your dog likes to do, whether it's exercising with a long walk, playing fetch, or relaxing while I give them a belly rub. I grew up with 2 dogs and have experience pet sitting for friends, neighbors, and colleagues over the years. I have never met a dog I didn't get along with; they seem to recognize that I am a dog person and really want nothing more than to make their tails wag. I am currently in nursing school in a mostly online program, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I currently have no pets and would love to hang out with your dog(s)! I’m currently in nursing school and my program is mostly asynchronous online, so my schedule is pretty flexible overall. In the fall, my clinical days will be Thursday and Friday from 7-1, so I will only be available in the afternoon on those days. I live in a pet-friendly apartment across the street from a grassy yard area and near residential areas good for walks. I love going for long walks (especially with a dog pal!) but am always able to adjust for whatever your dog needs.

About: Hi my name is Nick! I'm a proud dog dad to my baby girl Olivia and a big heart and admiration for dogs of all kinds. I've had the experience of both having and taking care of many dogs in my life, including Pugs, Labs, Great Danes, and mix breeds. My favorite dog activities are to go on walks and play fetch in parks with them. I try to be consistent with enforcing good behavior towards them, as well as making sure they're well taken care of within their environment. My typical routine involves going walks for about 30 minutes on average, going to the dog park to get some energy out, and checking to see if they have water and food in their bowls I'm usually available in the afternoons and evenings throughout most of week, mostly on weekends. My time periods are 30 minutes to an hour with dog walking for each visit. When taking care of dogs I make sure that they are well feed, that they're well comfortable at their home especially if the temperature is too hot or cold outside, and that everything is secure and well closed off so that they wouldn't run off from home.

About: I’ve had pets since I was 10 years old. I currently have two dogs (Callie and Zoey). I have experience with administering meds to cats and dogs. Before having kids, we fostered dogs through a dog rescue. I’ve dealt with all kinds of pet personalities including scared, aloof and reactive. I can provide walks, potty breaks, feedings, medication administration and even vet visits. Currently a stay at home mom - my two kids will be in school starting in September. I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate most requests with advance notice. I have the most availability during the school day and some evenings. Can also be available weekends! I cannot offer care in my home currently but I’m very aware of safety when it comes to clients pets. I have experience with escape artists and am familiar with martingale collars, double leashing and of course being extra cautious when entering and exiting your home.

“Shan is amazing. She is super communicative and commits to playtime with my cat to get his energy out. She even figured out how to get him to play with toys that I had previously failed with! She sends pics every visit and lets me know how he is doing, mood, etc. and you can tell she really cares about his well being. I will 100% continue to book with Shan in the future!”

“Annika is such a wonderful sitter! My cat is very timid and shy with strangers and she managed to get her to come out from under the bed while I was away. She made sure her food, water, and litter areas stayed tidy and maintained good communication with me throughout.”

“Alana was awesome! She was communicative and my cat really liked her. She made holiday travel less stressful because I knew Owen was being taken good care of. Would highly recommend!”

“Abby is so thoughtful, kind, and responsible. She takes great care of the animals and even hauled a bunch of heavy packages inside (sorry and thank you!). I highly recommend Abby she is wonderful to work with and always goes above and beyond. Thank you so much Abby!!”

About: I’ve been a dog lover my entire life, truly! I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a kid and have cared for them like they were family (because they are). From energetic 3 month old puppies to gentle senior dogs, I’ve had the joy of caring for pups at every stage of life. I’ve personally had three dogs growing up, and now my girlfriend and I have a sweet Shih Tzu named Coco. Her family has two dogs as well, and we regularly dog sit and care for them like they’re our own. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, cuddles, or just giving them the love and attention they deserve. I genuinely enjoy every second of it. Spending time with dogs makes me happier than anything else. Honestly, I’d rather hang out with pups than people any day, they calm my mind, fill my heart, and never fail to make me smile. If I had to choose between a human baby and a puppy, I’d choose the puppy every time! That’s how much I love and cherish them. If you trust me with your dog, know they’ll be cared for like family, with love, patience, and plenty of tail wags. 🐶❤️ I currently work in Pharma/manufacturing so i work Wednesday to Saturday and Thursday to Saturday every alternate week so I'm mostly free Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every alternate Wednesday. So this allows me to care for pets in my weekends/ free time when most people have work! At this moment I won’t be able to care for dogs at my home but I would be able to care for pets at clients home. I can also stay over if you’re out of town. I will send pictures/ videos periodically. Will ask all the questions about their schedule, food, allergies, potty intervals, walking time, distance etc. Will be very responsive and can even facetime/video call if needed. Safety comes first always!

“Christina is our absolute go-to dog sitter! Since we work from home, our two dogs are used to having us around 24/7, so leaving them with someone else is a big deal for us. Christina makes the transition seamless. She has a natural way with dogs, and we’re especially grateful for how patient and gentle she is with our youngest, who can be very timid and easily scared. Knowing they’re in her care gives us complete peace of mind. We couldn’t recommend her more!”

Watertown pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sharon took care of my cat, Rosie, and was wonderful! She provided daily updates with photos and detail. She was a big help in giving Rosie a daily pill, and she went above and beyond to water our plants while we were away! We look forward to working with Sharon again the future.

Maegan provided excellent, thorough, thoughtful care to our two kitties. She gave detailed updates of every visit and made us feel like we were right there with our fur babies even from afar. Photos proved our cats were very trusting and comfortable with Maegan, a testament to Maegan's attention to detail when it comes to cat communication.

Taylor was incredibly kind and thoughtful when it came to our two cats, one of which is a little grumpy. She checked in multiple times just to give updates on visits and of course sent great photos and descriptions of the visits. She made sure the grumpy cat felt comfortable without pushing boundaries which is so important to us.

We were extremely happy with Betsy's care for our two cats! She was very attentive - getting to know them and playing with them when they were in the mood for it, adjusting the amount of food based on their eating patterns, and cleaning up any messes they made too. Excellent communication and photos as well! We came home to some very happy and well-cared-for cats and would be happy to have Betsy take care of our cats again.

Natalia was absolutely wonderful with my cat Garbanzo! I could tell from the photos she took that he felt extremely comfortable and happy. Natalia communicated so well throughout the visits, always sending photos and details on how he was doing, and even went of her way to pick up the keys from me given I had just moved. I will for sure be booking her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone who wants genuine love and care for their pet!
