“We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Hannah. She was very friendly, polite and professional. She provided plenty of photos and kept us updated. Leeloo enjoyed her time with her. We will definitely not hesitate to rebook with her in the future.”

“We have used Shelby and Matthew twice now. My dog enjoys the time that this family gives him, throwing his toys and going for walks. I receive photo updates daily. They do a wonderful job. I don't have to stress about where our dogs goes when we are on vacation anymore!”

“Elisabeth was so wonderful and kind! She made us feel so at ease leaving our sweet pup for a week. She sent us so many pictures and updates and allowed us to meet her in advance to ensure our dogs got along. Will definitely be asking for her in the future to watch our doggo!”

“Our little dog loved his stay with Alton and Valerie and kiddos. They were very understanding of his needs and very attentive. We have booked another stay with this family.”

About: I've cared for dogs (small to medium size), cats, ducks, fish, chickens and some birds since in my teens. I've looked after friends, family and neighbors pets for feeding, boarding, day care, walking, play, etc… I am an artist, so I am free to be home all day therefore my availability is Monday through Sunday. My hours are flexible and accommodating to your pets needs. I have a house with a tall fenced yard and 3 dogs that are dog and people friendly. Your pets can play with mine or they can be placed in a separate area. During good weather, I leave the back door open so dogs are free to come in and out of the house. All dogs sleep inside the house together or if requested in a separate room.
About: I specialize in reactive, shy, elder, and special-needs pets. My background in shelter care, training, and grooming helps me safely handle animals many sitters cannot. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds, personalities, and ages since I was very young, learning dog behavior from my mother, who was a professional dog trainer. In 2017, I started my own dog walking business and built a loyal clientele, and later became a shelter technician at SCRAPS, deepening my experience and empathy for pets of all kinds. I’m trained to give medications orally, topically, ophthalmically, subcutaneously, and in the ear. I’m also a PetSmart-trained dog groomer, so baths if your pup needs extra pampering. Whether your furry friend needs a walk, some cuddles, a game of tug of war, someone to keep them out of trouble, or just a companion to sit with them, I tailor my care to their personality and needs. I focus on making every visit safe and fun, and making your pet feel happy during their stay. Please reach out anytime, any day! I should be able to get back to you same day. I am currently available any day, between 10am-4pm I make sure pets are fed, watered, let out, and any messes cleaned up. I follow all instructions, double-check doors and windows, and spend quality time cuddling, playing, and keeping them happy and safe.
“Jessica patiently helped my anxious puppy feel at comfortable in her home and fun yard. She loves dogs, understands dog behavior, and communicates well, making her my first choice for a place for my Roxy to play during the day or stay longer while we travel. Thank you Jessica!”

“Raven was GREAT!!! Our dog had very bad separation anxiety and I was shocked how calm he was when we picked him up he usually won't eat much as he gets very stressed but Marley knew Raven and her family loved him so he felt that and safe. We will definitely be using Raven for all future trips!”

About: I have experience in dogs when it comes to what they can and can't eat. I have experience when it comes to medicine And a lots more. I know to be cautious around other dogs and people. I know not to let them chew on things they shouldn't chew on. I know not to let the eat things off the ground. I know to let them warm up to you first so they aren't scared of you or aggressive to you. I know that they gotta go outside very often so they can use the restroom and play and run off some energy I also know that dogs love toys to play with and even when we play with them and show them love and attention.
“Fantastic service with Kayla. I've already booked ahead for some future trips. Teddy and Mochi got along like two peas in a pod, and Kayla sent plenty of updates for a helicopter dog mom like myself. I highly recommend her services.”

“This was my puppy’s first experience boarding overnight. She was very comfortable going with Mandy and got along well with her dogs. I will definitely use Mandy again for either boarding or sitting for a couple hours while we do errands.”

“Chantel is the BEST! My dog had so much fun with her that I wasn't sure she'd want to come home. Chantel is super responsive and sends regular updates and pictures. I will definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Macie took wonderful care of our dog Everest while we were out of town! She kept us updated with pictures and messages throughout the time that Everest was in her care which helped us to know that Everest was in good hands. In every picture we received Everest looked extremely happy! We will definitely have Macie watch Everest again in the future😊”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life and love dogs! I am a hands on care giver and make sure the pets are happy and healthy. I work remotely so I am home all day with my 12-year-old boy and a 5-year-old Schnoodle, Coco. My daughter is pre-med at WSU and is often home to help as well. Coco is current with all vaccines, spayed, and loves furry friends visiting! I have a fenced yard that is wide open for lots of fun playing. I also take daily walks with the dogs so they get to smell the news!
“I was so nervous about leaving my dog with anyone, but Heidi not only made me feel comfortable leaving him with her, she updated me with photos and videos while I was away. It was so nice to see my little guy happy and enjoying his time with play, food, and sleeping. Thank you Heidi! Super Rock Star!”

“Renee took such great care of our lab. He is a gentle giant and a big chicken. She sent us pictures regularly and gave us updates which put our minds at ease. And we could tell in the pictures that he felt right at home and was getting lots of love and snuggles. She also took him on walks and threw the ball for him regularly. I’m sure he was more entertained there than he is at home. Lol We would take Maui back to her with no hesitation. Thank you for taking such good care of our pup Renee!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Veradale
Sarah always takes such good care of our boy Tucker! We dropped him off this time with some doggy ibuprofen in hand since he strained a muscle right before we were supposed to go out of town (classic!). Luckily he healed right up and didn’t favor it or need meds while he was there. Love that she sends picture updates to us as well. Tucker loves going to Sarah’s!

Citlali and Connor did an incredible job watching my dog Athen while I was away for 3 weeks on vacation. Citlali gave updates of their walks, a pup cup adventure and lots of cuddles! Athen was in the best hands, he had such a blast in their care. I cannot recommend Citlali and Connor enough they truly love animals and they spoiled my dog like their own. Next time I leave town I will make sure to ask them if they can watch Athen!

I’m really glad I found Megan on Rover! She took good care of my pet dog, Polly. She was professional, responsible, and kept me informed. I like that she agreed to a meet and greet and that she only takes care of one client’s pet at a time. Polly had fun at her house playing her dog, Ruby. I would recommend Megan, and will definitely book again if I need a sitter in the future. Thank you, Megan! 💚

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
