“Jack clearly felt right at home. It’s reassuring to see pics of your pet having fun and Tiana takes care of him amazingly well. I’d use them again in a heartbeat.”

“Raven was GREAT!!! Our dog had very bad separation anxiety and I was shocked how calm he was when we picked him up he usually won't eat much as he gets very stressed but Marley knew Raven and her family loved him so he felt that and safe. We will definitely be using Raven for all future trips!”

“We have used Shelby and Matthew twice now. My dog enjoys the time that this family gives him, throwing his toys and going for walks. I receive photo updates daily. They do a wonderful job. I don't have to stress about where our dogs goes when we are on vacation anymore!”

“Milo had a great time and was taken care of exactly as his medical needs required. We appreciate the flexibility with his pickup and will certainly return if we need boarding again.”

“She’s amazing, sends fun photos and Rosey comes home tired and calm! It’s nice to be on vacation and not worry about your pet. Jessica is our main girl now and are booking our 3rd visit with her in December”

About: * Lifelong animal lover with 8+ years of pet sitting experience for friends, family, and referrals. * Proud dog mom to Rocky, my 7-year-old Golden Retriever, who has been by my side since he was 9 weeks old. * Experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, cats, chickens, and even a bearded dragon. * I work remotely, which allows me to provide plenty of supervision, companionship, walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. * I only accept pets that are comfortable around large dogs and have a friendly, reliable temperament. Rocky’s safety and well-being are my top priority. * My goal is to treat every pet like family and give owners peace of mind while they’re away I work remotely Monday through Friday, so my day naturally revolves around making sure the pets in my care—including my own—get plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, exercise, and outdoor time. My routine typically includes walks before work, during lunch, and in the evening, with longer trail walks or adventures mixed in throughout the week. Because every pet is different, I tailor activities to their age, energy level, and individual needs. One of my favorite things about dogs is that they remind us to step away from our screens and enjoy the outdoors. Whether your pet loves adventure or prefers a more relaxed routine, they’ll receive plenty of care, attention, and love while they’re with me. Trust is everything when it comes to caring for someone’s pets. I’ve been with the same company for 9 years, and I bring that same reliability, integrity, and accountability to every pet I care for. As a Project Manager, I’m highly detail-oriented and comfortable following specific routines, medications, and care instructions. I know every pet is different, and I take the time to learn what helps them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I genuinely love animals and don’t just “watch” pets—I enjoy spending time with them, keeping them engaged, active, and loved while you’re away. I mostly have dog sat at people’s homes. I do have a dog friendly apartment and would be open to select sittings in my home but it’s not fenced so there is less freedom that one would have in their own home.

About: My wife, Audri, and I are lifelong animal lovers with experience caring for a wide variety of pets. Audri grew up with Huskies, Malamutes, cats, rabbits, and birds, while I grew up with countless dogs and cats, as well as goats and even a pet rat. Animals have always been a central part of our lives, and our long-term dream is to have enough land to rescue and care for even more of them. As pet owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets and home. We regularly use pet and house sitters and know the peace of mind that comes from receiving updates while you're away. When your pets are in our care, you can expect dependable communication, regular updates, and plenty of photos. Our current furry family includes three cats, two rabbits, and two spunky Pomskies. We believe pets are family and take pride in providing attentive, loving care tailored to each animal's needs. From energetic dogs to shy cats and small animals, we're comfortable caring for a variety of personalities and routines. Last year we relocated from Bend, Oregon, to Spokane and are excited to put down roots in the area. While we're still in the process of purchasing our own home, we are currently available for drop-in visits and pet sitting in your home. After 6/27/2026 we would love to host your pups in our new home! We look forward to meeting you and your pets! I (Haley) primarily do the pet-sitting. I have been out of work with a back injury and have a pretty open schedule outside of PT and doctor’s appointments. When caring for your pets in your home, we will treat both your animals and your space with the same respect and attention that we give our own. We're a "shoes off at the door" kind of family, and we believe that the little details matter—from keeping food and water areas clean to paying close attention to your pet's behavior, appetite, energy level, and bathroom habits. As pet owners ourselves, we know that changes in routine can sometimes be the first sign that something isn't quite right. If we notice anything unusual, we'll communicate with you promptly so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My wife, Audri, is a nurse and is experienced in administering medications and caring for pets with special health needs. Whether your pet requires medication, extra patience, or a customized routine, we're committed to following your instructions carefully and providing attentive, compassionate care. Our goal is simple: to ensure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, while you feel confident knowing they're in good hands.
“We were very nervous about leaving our sweet very energetic yr old pup, but as soon as we met Alton & assistants (kiddos) I felt relieved. They sent timely photos of play, rest time & in between times along with descriptions of how he was doing. They took cues from him, to then do what he seemed to need. We’re very thankful to have met these great folks & definitely worth the extra drive for us !”

“Danielle is fantastic! Her communication and willingness to do a meet and greet ahead of time (even though our dog's stay was only one night) meant the world to me. She sent several photos, which I really appreciated. I knew he was in good hands. Danielle has lots of experience with dogs, and did not flinch when she knew our's was a German Shorthaired Pointer. She had previous experience with the breed and that says a lot. Don't hesitate to book with her and her family. Your furry family member will be treated like one of her own.”

“Macie took wonderful care of our dog Everest while we were out of town! She kept us updated with pictures and messages throughout the time that Everest was in her care which helped us to know that Everest was in good hands. In every picture we received Everest looked extremely happy! We will definitely have Macie watch Everest again in the future😊”

About: I specialize in reactive, shy, elder, and special-needs pets. My background in shelter care, training, and grooming helps me safely handle animals many sitters cannot. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds, personalities, and ages since I was very young, learning dog behavior from my mother, who was a professional dog trainer. In 2017, I started my own dog walking business and built a loyal clientele, and later became a shelter technician at SCRAPS, deepening my experience and empathy for pets of all kinds. I’m trained to give medications orally, topically, ophthalmically, subcutaneously, and in the ear. I’m also a PetSmart-trained dog groomer, so baths if your pup needs extra pampering. Whether your furry friend needs a walk, some cuddles, a game of tug of war, someone to keep them out of trouble, or just a companion to sit with them, I tailor my care to their personality and needs. I focus on making every visit safe and fun, and making your pet feel happy during their stay. Please reach out anytime, any day! I should be able to get back to you same day. I am currently available any day, between 10am-4pm I make sure pets are fed, watered, let out, and any messes cleaned up. I follow all instructions, double-check doors and windows, and spend quality time cuddling, playing, and keeping them happy and safe.
About: I've cared for dogs (small to medium size), cats, ducks, fish, chickens and some birds since in my teens. I've looked after friends, family and neighbors pets for feeding, boarding, day care, walking, play, etc… I am an artist, so I am free to be home all day therefore my availability is Monday through Sunday. My hours are flexible and accommodating to your pets needs. I have a house with a tall fenced yard and 3 dogs that are dog and people friendly. Your pets can play with mine or they can be placed in a separate area. During good weather, I leave the back door open so dogs are free to come in and out of the house. All dogs sleep inside the house together or if requested in a separate room.
“She is amazing! Perfect! One in a million. I felt safe leaving our baby with her. She was so good at communicating and very respectful/responsible . Use her ( just not when we need to book her) lol”

“Antonia was a wonderful sitter for Frankie, keeping me updated with photos throughout her stay, and very accommodating to me when my return flight was delayed. Will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Heidi was wonderful! One of our dogs is nervous about everything, and as usual, she was not eating. Heidi whipped up something delicious and got our old girl to eat! I received daily updates from Heidi, and she sent lots of pictures and videos. it helped us miss our dogs a little less!”

“We left our 3 year old dog with Emily. It was our first time leaving him. Our dog Beau had no problems going straight into her care from the start. She sent us pictures and videos. We knew he was happy and well cared for. Will be booking with her in the future!”

“Jony (and family) was absolutely amazing. She accommodated to my last minute needs along with Ryder’s schedule so easily and willing. Ryder came home one happy puppy. I would definitely recommend leaving your dog with Jony as I will be using her again. Especially if you are the nervous type much like me, and want continuous updates and pictures. Thanks Jony!”
“She took wonderful care of Levi! Chantel sent many photo updates of walks, play time in the backyard, and funny moments. Levi looked right at home at Chantel’s!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Veradale
Georgia was SO easy to communicate with! She sent photos and videos, was flexible with timing, and quick to respond. She has a great yard and play space and is so clearly a dog-lover and caretaker. Tillie had an amazing time with her and we will definitely be going back!

Wonderful experience with Rachel! She was very easy to communicate with, sent updates, and our border collie Nova was so happy and well cared for. Rachel is clearly very kind with a big a heart for animals. Rachel seemed ready to adjust to anything that Nova might need to feel comfortable and she took her out for lots of walks and adventures. Rachel's dog Rocky is a sweetheart too. Our girl looked right at home when we picked her up and it felt like we had left her with a trusted friend. We would absolutely use Rachel every time! Highly recommended.

Sarah always takes such good care of our boy Tucker! We dropped him off this time with some doggy ibuprofen in hand since he strained a muscle right before we were supposed to go out of town (classic!). Luckily he healed right up and didn’t favor it or need meds while he was there. Love that she sends picture updates to us as well. Tucker loves going to Sarah’s!

Citlali and Connor did an incredible job watching my dog Athen while I was away for 3 weeks on vacation. Citlali gave updates of their walks, a pup cup adventure and lots of cuddles! Athen was in the best hands, he had such a blast in their care. I cannot recommend Citlali and Connor enough they truly love animals and they spoiled my dog like their own. Next time I leave town I will make sure to ask them if they can watch Athen!

I’m really glad I found Megan on Rover! She took good care of my pet dog, Polly. She was professional, responsible, and kept me informed. I like that she agreed to a meet and greet and that she only takes care of one client’s pet at a time. Polly had fun at her house playing her dog, Ruby. I would recommend Megan, and will definitely book again if I need a sitter in the future. Thank you, Megan! 💚

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
