“We dropped off Ziggy for the weekend after a visit to the vet where we left with four medications, a cone and a bloody paw. Philip didn't flinch. (He was two minutes from where I was visiting my mom, so we could have been there if anything had come up.) We didn't get a lot of updates, but we came back to a dog who seemed happy, and better yet, hadn't been chewing on his paw. Highly recommend.”

About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. I tend to live an active lifestyle and that means hiking/walking/and lots of exercise. Rest assured both me and your pooch will be getting a good workout! In the past I've facilitated overnight lodging for dogs, and temporary stays of up to a few days. Be noted I do not currently have a large open or fenced in yard. I work with neighbors and friends pets on quite a regular basis! I regularly feed, train, walk & care for pets when away or on business! I work from home so this environment provides a perfect spot for pets to be nurtured & played with consistently! I always check prior to booking any special exercise and or dietary needs of your pet. Ensuring door remain locked when inside and timer's are set for when pets receive food upon client preference. Safety is of the upmost priority, so I will discuss a full plan and schedule so you know where you pup is and his progress while away. I will send regular check in photos to provide accountability for myself and the clients well being.

“Heidi was wonderful! One of our dogs is nervous about everything, and as usual, she was not eating. Heidi whipped up something delicious and got our old girl to eat! I received daily updates from Heidi, and she sent lots of pictures and videos. it helped us miss our dogs a little less!”

About: My wife, Audri, and I are lifelong animal lovers with experience caring for a wide variety of pets. Audri grew up with Huskies, Malamutes, cats, rabbits, and birds, while I grew up with countless dogs and cats, as well as goats and even a pet rat. Animals have always been a central part of our lives, and our long-term dream is to have enough land to rescue and care for even more of them. As pet owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets and home. We regularly use pet and house sitters and know the peace of mind that comes from receiving updates while you're away. When your pets are in our care, you can expect dependable communication, regular updates, and plenty of photos. Our current furry family includes three cats, two rabbits, and two spunky Pomskies. We believe pets are family and take pride in providing attentive, loving care tailored to each animal's needs. From energetic dogs to shy cats and small animals, we're comfortable caring for a variety of personalities and routines. Last year we relocated from Bend, Oregon, to Spokane and are excited to put down roots in the area. While we're still in the process of purchasing our own home, we are currently available for drop-in visits and pet sitting in your home. I have been out of work with a back injury and have a pretty open schedule outside of PT and doctor’s appointments. My wife, Audri, is a nurse and is experienced in administering medications and caring for pets with special health needs. Whether your pet requires medication, extra patience, or a customized routine, we're committed to following your instructions carefully and providing attentive, compassionate care. Our goal is simple: to ensure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, while you feel confident knowing they're in good hands.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 25 years. At one point I ran a certified rescue where I fostered and trained shelter dogs. I understand and love dogs of all sizes, breeds and personalities. I work from home and have flexibility with my schedule. I’m able to provide all kinds of care on any schedule including walks, playing in my yard or trips to dog parks or trails if that’s what you would like for your pup. I have a good sized split level home and a well fenced secure big backyard. There’s a dog door for outdoor porch and backyard access. Your pups will never be left unattended. Dogs are welcome everywhere in my home including beds and couches.
