About: My father taught me about life by giving me pets since I was able to walk. Animals are a gift and should be treated like they are family. I work full time, but I still have plenty of time to take care of your pets. Having a small farm myself, my kids, who are older, pitch in to give animals all the care and love they need! I have a fenced in property and enclosed kennels for exercise. I also enjoy taking them on walks and playing ball with them outside. Any specific requests will try to be honored…
“We want to express our sincere gratitude to Angelina for taking such good care of our animal crew while we were away. Knowing that our pets were in such caring hands brought us peace of mind. Your kindness and attention to detail are truly appreciated. Thank you so much!”

About: I truly enjoy dog walking and dog sitting. Currently, I am unable to have a dog and dog walking/sitting brings me so much joy. I especially like taking dogs out for daily walks/jogs/hikes. I'm good with their familiar walks and also exploring new places if they are an adventurous pup! I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds and making new doggie friends. I'd love to meet your baby - send me a message! I currently work from home most days and can be available for daytime check-ins. I am also available most mornings and evenings for walks and check-ins as well. Weekends are very flexible as well. When caring for your pets in your home, I will make sure it is calm and comfortable for your pets. I appreciate knowing any rules and routines that best suit your pet so that I can follow them and make it easier on you when you return home.
“I normally have a hard time leaving my pup, but Christy helped ease that anxiety tremendously!! She was passionate, communicative, and went above and beyond in every way. I almost don’t want to recommend her because she’s so good I want her all to myself! But I do highly, highly recommend her”

About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.
“Rachael was amazing! She sent me detailed updates and took very good care of my dog while I was away. I got back to town late and she went out of her way to do the key exchange. I definitely will ask her to help again in the future!”

“Rose was great! This is the first time my husband and I used the Rover app. It’s hard to trust a stranger to watch our fur babies, but once we met Rose, we could tell she was easy to trust. She sent us daily updates and loved on our two kitties while we were away. Not having to worry about the cats helped make our trip that much more enjoyable. Would highly recommend her! Will 100% use her in the future. :)”

“Ashlyn took great care of my pups and my pups both really liked her. They almost seemed disappointed when I got home! I very much appreciated her regular communication and her reliability.”

Provide a great space for your pet to stay with walking distance to dog park to keep your rover happy. Will ensure your dog goes on long walks as I like to get exercise as well. Have a fully fenced back yard for your dogs to play safely. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and will be happy to answer them for you and your pup. About: I absolutely love dogs and I am passionate about their care! I have over 40 years of experience working with animals, and dogs are my passion. I have always considered them as part of the family, and treat them that way. I do not have a dog of my own, so your pet will be loved and cared for in a one on one home setting. Being a Rover sitter is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. I work from home, so I am able to stick to the schedule you have set and that also means lots of play breaks together in our large fenced yard! I will send you daily updates and pictures to keep you posted. I personally know how difficult it is to leave your pet behind and not worry. My goal is to provide a safe, positive, loving, and engaging experience for all dogs, and allow you as a pet parent to vacation or be at work without any stress or concern about the well-being of your fur-baby. I have experience with administering medications, preparing specialty foods, and I am familiar with basic training techniques.
“Cailee did a great job taking care of my pup while I was out of town for work. She was even available for an additional day (at the last minute) due to flight delays on my part. Consider me a repeat customer.”

About: Free range dog boarding and daycare. We are definitely animal people. I have been caring for aminals for the last 8 years. We did move to Post Falls a few years ago. Our house is on 4 1/2 acres of fenced in property. I have five dogs of my own and they are all great with other dogs. We spend a lot of time outdoors in the field. Your pup needs to be good in group setting with at least 15 other pups. The dogs just love to hang out and be a part of what we’re doing out there. We play a lot of fetch with them. They love to do their rounds around the property. Check out all the new little things happening. They will get tons of exercise. They will Go home happy and tired :-) I like to do a meet and greet to make sure everybody gets along. And make sure the parents are comfortable with the environment. Any new dogs that come into this home, becomes part of the family. So we are not the whole kennel set up. I do have crates around if they needed their own space. Lots of dog beds. Doggie door for in and out access as they wish. Your fur babies are treated just as good as my fur babies. Family boarding. Pups have lots of freedom. Its like being at the dog park all day. Have to play well with everyone. As always some pups are rough at play. There is always a chance that someone get some play wounds. Such as small punctures, cuts and scrapes, sore paw pads, broken toe nails, or even a sprain. We do try our best to keep these things from happening. But dogs will be dogs. ( no different than a child that is a hard Player). Animals are my life. Whether it’s taking care of the farm animals or playing all day with dogs. Your pupcation is important to us. Fun fun fun. Your dogs are treated just like our dogs. They get to play all day outside. Enjoy their meals. And sleep inside with us. They very much enjoy There stay.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since as long as I can remember and have loved them for even longer. I’ve had a cat and a dog during my childhood and would constantly play, walk, bathe and feed them! And I’ve made sure to give all the pets I’ve seen and taken care of lots of love, including the many fish I’ve had! I work full time as a Dental Assistant here in CDA Tuesday-Friday! My plan is to be able to play with your puppies and take them for walks either early morning before my work 4:30-5:30am to start my day, and after my workday starting 5:00pm. I’ll also try my very best to be available pretty often during the weekend. As my love for animals is intense and would love to start and end my day hanging out with your furry friends! 🤍 I have the sweetest orange tabby girl, who adores to cuddle and play. She is absolutely obsessed with following me around in my apartment! :)

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Post Falls
Brittney is a lifesaver! I desperately needed someone to take my dog potty on Tuesdays due to my work schedule, and Brittney came to the rescue! This is the first time my dog has had a sitter, and Brittney was very patient with him. He also felt very comfortable with her the first time we met, which says a lot. It was so relieving getting a picture and walk update while being stuck at work. Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
