“Our baby had to go to the emergency vet for stomach issues and Xenia saved the day! She communicated with us every step of the way and everything turned out okay. Thank you Xenia!”

About: My father taught me about life by giving me pets since I was able to walk. Animals are a gift and should be treated like they are family. I work full time, but I still have plenty of time to take care of your pets. Having a small farm myself, my kids, who are older, pitch in to give animals all the care and love they need! I have a fenced in property and enclosed kennels for exercise. I also enjoy taking them on walks and playing ball with them outside. Any specific requests will try to be honored…
“I was so nervous leaving my parrot overnight, but with Mariana’s drop ins everything went great. He was well taken care of. She was dependable, had great communication, on time and thorough. I trusted her, and will be hiring her again for sure:)”

“Rachael is an amazing dog sitter. She sends me detailed updates on how the drop in visits go and is very reliable. I know my dog will be well taken care of while I’m gone. I will keep booking Rachael as long as she is available!”

“Cailee did a great job taking care of my pup while I was out of town for work. She was even available for an additional day (at the last minute) due to flight delays on my part. Consider me a repeat customer.”

About: I absolutely love dogs and I am passionate about their care! I have over 40 years of experience working with animals, and dogs are my passion. I have always considered them as part of the family, and treat them that way. I do not have a dog of my own, so your pet will be loved and cared for in a one on one home setting. Being a Rover sitter is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. I work from home, so I am able to stick to the schedule you have set and that also means lots of play breaks together in our large fenced yard! I will send you daily updates and pictures to keep you posted. I personally know how difficult it is to leave your pet behind and not worry. My goal is to provide a safe, positive, loving, and engaging experience for all dogs, and allow you as a pet parent to vacation or be at work without any stress or concern about the well-being of your fur-baby. I have experience with administering medications, preparing specialty foods, and I am familiar with basic training techniques.
“It only took 2 days into her week stay for Heidi to get comfortable with her, and she has gone a full week without relaxing during other stays with people she has known for months! Shauna was excellent with communication and photos and I so appreciated her thoroughness and love for Heidi girl. She helped us with some household things too to make our time away more smooth. Will continue to book with Shauna!”

About: I truly enjoy dog walking and dog sitting. Currently, I am unable to have a dog and dog walking/sitting brings me so much joy. I especially like taking dogs out for daily walks/jogs/hikes. I'm good with their familiar walks and also exploring new places if they are an adventurous pup! I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds and making new doggie friends. I'd love to meet your baby - send me a message! I currently work from home most days and can be available for daytime check-ins. I am also available most mornings and evenings for walks and check-ins as well. Weekends are very flexible as well. When caring for your pets in your home, I will make sure it is calm and comfortable for your pets. I appreciate knowing any rules and routines that best suit your pet so that I can follow them and make it easier on you when you return home.
“Angelina was very professional, and her personality is great. She cares about the animals and took great care of my cat and was very prompt. I will be calling her again to come take care of my kiddo.”

About: Flexible Schedule, I Love Dogs! I have always had pets growing up as a child & my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning & understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends & volunteering over the years. Two of us working remotely from home, and just part-time for me. We have a great walk near our house and a nice fenced in yard and place to play. We walk our 2 yr old Goldendoodle regularly and have a doggie door so pets can go outside when they want to. In my home pets are loved. They are allowed on the couch if their per parents allow it. Brittney is a lifesaver! I desperately needed someone to take my dog potty on Tuesdays due to my work schedule, and Brittney came to the rescue! This is the first time my dog has had a sitter, and Brittney was very patient with him. He also felt very comfortable with her the first time we met, which says a lot. It was so relieving getting a picture and walk update while being stuck at work. Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Post Falls with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
