About: Hi there! I'm a stay-at-home mom with over 30 yrs experience with dogs. I am a certified trainer and have raised and trained many dogs. I would like to add a few temporary companions to my pack. I am located in West Central Spokane, just steps away from the Centennial Trail and Spokane River—perfect for daily walks and outdoor adventures! Pick up and drop off available within the Spokane area. What You Can Expect: Safe, loving care in a pet-friendly home Walks 1–2 times daily along the beautiful Centennial Trail Plenty of supervised playtime in the backyard Personalized attention and snuggles throughout the day Regular updates with pictures and messages A calm environment—no aggressive dogs, please I live with my two friendly pups: a gentle Bernese Mountain Dog and an energetic Porky (Pomeranian/Yorkie mix). They love meeting new friends and are great at making visiting dogs feel welcome. We have a fully fenced backyard where the dogs can safely play and roam. Whether you're going on vacation or just need a weekend away, your dog will be treated like part of the family here. I’d love to schedule a meet-and-greet to make sure it’s a great fit! I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. I am usually only gone for a few hrs a day and can devote the rest of my time to snuggling, exercising, socializing, and just being there for your pup. Your pet is welcome in my home and will be treated like a part of the pack. They are free to roam the house and the yard supervised. I have a fully fenced backyard where our pups can play. They do go in a crate for safety when I leave the house or at night when I sleep. Your dog will be treated like part of the family here.
“Julia did a wonderful job taking care of our 2 cats while we were out of town. She came over ahead of time for a walkthrough and performed drop in visits each day we were gone.”

“Cathy was a joy to have as a cat sitter. I was away for a week and this was my first time away from my cat so I was little nervous, but she kept communication open and fast. I would absolutely feel comfortable hiring her for another pet sitting and recommend her highly.”

“Chloe is fantastic! 10/10 would recommend. We had an emergency and had to run out the house, barely had time to give instructions. Chloe took it in stride and took excellent care of our babies.”

“Alex took such great care of my cats! I could tell they were getting attention and I could see the progress of them getting more and more comfortable with her with each visit. Loved the adorable photos she sent!”
About: I won't just treat them as a "pet" I treat all animals as family. I have taken care of various dog and cats from family members and friends since I was a child. This included staying over, walking, feeding, training and playing. At the moment I am pursuing schooling for dog training so I have open availability for walks and drop ins! I usually ask for a days notice but it never hurts to ask. I have had experience with larger dogs (German shepherds, Great Pyerenese, Pitbulls and Saint Bernards) as well as small dogs (Chihuahua's, Shih Tzu and Dachshunds). I also provide baths and nail trimming when asked. I enjoy running too so if your looking to get your dog in shape! For pets coming to my house they must be crate trained (for when I sleep) and friendly with other dogs.
“Elizabeth is a gem! We had a last minute emergency and she helped us with our dogs like she was family. We have used her services in the past and will no doubt boom with her every time!”

About: I have a deep passion for CARE. I love providing things for people and recently have discovered even animals! Not only do I care for them but I also realize they give me joy! So its a mutual type of caring :) I do music for my job at the university but I figured it would be good to also get some other income but through pet sitting! I prefer to care for dogs! Small and medium dogs as I am small and medium ahha! To talk with the animals and give attention and be playful is so key! You treat them as if they were your child too! They have feelings and a heart too!

About: I love animals so much. I cannot have my own right now so I would love to live on yours. I'm dependable, patient, and attentive to each pet's unique personality and needs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I treat every animal with the same kindness, respect, and love that I would want for my own. Because I work from home, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have the flexibility to provide consistent care, including walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and love making sure they feel happy, secure, and well cared for. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I follow each owner's instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special routines or preferences. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, playtime, fresh water, potty breaks, and a clean, safe environment. I also understand how important communication is, so I'll provide regular updates and photos to help owners feel confident that their pet is happy and well cared for while they're away.

About: Grew up with big dogs and 5 cats! Been the petsitter for my family and friends for years. I've looked after a litter of newborn mini Aussie puppies and have kept up dog training & routines while my sisters were traveling. From very energetic dogs to high-needs senior dogs--I've taken care of them all! I have no allergies, and mess doesn't bother me one bit. I normally teach English Composition at the local university, but I've got nothing to teach this summer! I'm writing a novel and would LOVE a reason to step away from the keyboard--dog walking, house sitting, playing. I'm very flexible. I am a very polite guest and follow written instructions to the letter. If I am housesitting, my goal is to always leave homes as I found them. Dishes done, trash taken out, floors swept, and plants watered!
“They have been great at keeping in touch and sending lots of pictures during the visit. Could not be more impressed and satisfied with the level of service!”

“Krissy was amazing and took excellent care of Toby. He’s very low maintenance, but she still made sure he got the exercise he needed and was very thoughtful and would always update me on how he was doing. I also love the pictures would definitely recommend this sitter and would love to have her back when we need a pet sitter for Toby again!!”

About: Hello! I am a college student who has grown up with dogs and been cat/dogsitting for the past 7 years. Being a student, I will provide your pets with lots of love, so they will not be lonely while you are away. I have experience with many different types of pets - both younger and older as well as all sizes. As a sitter, I promise that your pets will be well cared for and well loved while you are away! I'm currently a nursing student, meaning that each day is different. I have lots of time throughout the day to spend with your pets, and can ensure that they will get lots of love when I am not in class! I am very careful about pet care, making sure that I follow your needs exactly. With dogs, they will get two walks a day, if not more. I am happy to do any specifics that you need for your pet, such as training, time in the crate, long walks, hikes, and any specialised medical care. I will provide your pet with lots of love while you are away.
About: I have had dogs my whole life, and I really love animals. I don't work, so I can be around all the time as a regular to care for your pet, rather than having to use someone new all the time. I really enjoy being able to be around dogs. And the dogs have all had a good time with me :) I have three dogs at my house, and we have dog guests quite a lot. Some are older, and some I have had the pleasure of raising from puppies. I'm currently helping take care of a 13 year old dog. And I took care of a disabled dog who had paralysis in his hind legs, and I had to nurse back after spine surgery.
“Lauren took good care of our dog, Hiwa. She sent pictures every day and it looks like they bonded very well together during the week. Thank you Lauren for being Hiwa's weekly buddy!”

Cathy took such great care of my dog while I was away. She was also very communicative (even when I wasn't able to respond right away) about the wildfires going on while I was out of town and double-checking with me what I wanted to do for my dog while folks were being evacuated. Thank you!

We were a bit nervous as this was our first time using Rover, but Tara immediately made us feel comfortable. We knew our dog was in good hands. The report cards and pictures showed that she was spending quality time with our. We will absolutely use Tara again. Highly recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
