“Sarah and Jessica watched Patrick for over 24 hours. When I got there (our first time) Sarah graciously showed Patrick and I the inside living area where Patrick would mostly be, and spent some time in their beautiful fenced backyard which was a dog paradise with trees, bushes surrounding a lush green grass yard. We talked at length about Paddy’s personality and eating and sleep routines. We also chatted about the park literally next door to their house where Paddy would later go on a couple of walks (Sarah sent pictures!). When I left him, he was happy and content and not nervous at all! The next day when we picked him up, he was happy to see us of course but still relaxed and content….I can tell he really enjoyed his stay. We will definitely use Sarah and Jessica again, and in fact, we’re booking them again for an upcoming vacation of several days. (It will be a fun vacation for Patrick too!) About: I'm very energetic and will have so much fun running around and playing with your dog in my big fenced in yard. I decided to join Rover because I love dogs so much and I also love walking dogs so this is the perfect way to make money doing something I love. I will walk at your dogs pace If they like to walk fast or run I will love to run too. I have watched and dog sat for a number of friends and family before. The most dogs I watched at once was 4 small dogs at once for a week or two. I work part time mostly in the early mornings so I have a lot of time to care for your fur babies. Right now I am looking to walk smaller dogs since I'm pregnant.

About: I've cared for dogs (small to medium size), cats, ducks, fish, chickens and some birds since in my teens. I've looked after friends, family and neighbors pets for feeding, boarding, day care, walking, play, etc… I am an artist, so I am free to be home all day therefore my availability is Monday through Sunday. My hours are flexible and accommodating to your pets needs. I have a house with a tall fenced yard and 3 dogs that are dog and people friendly. Your pets can play with mine or they can be placed in a separate area. During good weather, I leave the back door open so dogs are free to come in and out of the house. All dogs sleep inside the house together or if requested in a separate room.

I do have a cat, but she has room to roam downstairs and to be outside so the dog and cat would never have to interact. Because I work a professional Monday-through-Thursday schedule, my weekends are completely cleared and dedicated to pet care. I am entirely off from Friday through Sunday, meaning my schedule revolves 100% around making sure your pup has a fantastic weekend getaway of their own while you are away! Loads of pictures which I LOVED, such a sweet person, kept me up to date, I was able to meet with her before hand and that was great. She took my pup out lots and lots and showed many pictures of their adventures. My pup seemed pretty happy during the stay! It was my first time having my puppy away from me and I was nervous especially since it was a stranger taking care of my pup but it went very well and I was very pleased with it all! Such a sweet person and took great care of my pup! I would definitely book again in the future!!
Sunny had a hard first year of life, and even after 8 years with us she is skittish around new people. Yet Sunny acclimated to Louise quickly. It helped that Louise set out Sunny's bed, blanket and toys and used treats to entice her to come closer - so patient and attentive to Sunny's needs. Just one night and the two were communicating well together. We're going to schedule another stay before we plan any trips, but we are confident that Sunny will further bond with Louise and have no doubts that Louise will take wonderful care of her.
Taylor & David have cared for our dogs for the last year and a half. They have always treated our dogs like family, from puppyhood to our senior dog. Their home is impeccably clean, they are warm, cordial, and responsible people. As they are now relocating for work, we are sad to see them go, but we wish them well on their way in their new location and new doggy friends to meet and care for!
Jennifer and David were wonderful. We had to book last minute because of an unexpected death in the family, and they took Bella in for her second stay with them.
