“Jenn and David did a fantastic job of caring for my 2 Boston Terriers! They are pretty high energy dogs and they loved playing in the back yard and chasing each other around the hot tub, and water play with the hose! We enjoyed the videos and photos we got several times a day. We are all home together now and happy to rest! I would definitely bring them back to Jenn and David! They are truly dog lovers!”

“Heather was amazing. She is an excellent communicator and gave regular updates. After a week, my dog had clearly bonded with her so I will definitely look to use her in the future.”

“Irene was a SUPERB host for my Rita and will absolutely be re-booking in the future! Facilitated a smooth meet and greet, welcomed Rita in, and was in clear and consistent communication.”

“Cheyenne was amazing to work with and took such good care of our boy, Jedi! He was almost sad to leave I could tell. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Our 5-1/2 month old litter mate sisters had a great time with Jeremy, Raelynn and family (and we cannot forget about Copper). Jeremy kept in constant communication with us. We never worried about their well-being or if they were having fun. Jeremy and family even took time to work on some training. They went for walks as well as tons of playtime. Jeremy took the time to send us tons of pictures everyday of all the fun they were having. We will definitely be repeat customers. Thank you again, Jeremy and family.”

“Our dog couldn’t have had a better time with Abigail and her family! We received constant updates, and they even worked in our dogs commands/ walking on a leash. We felt so comfortable having Ozzie stay there - We don’t think he wanted to come home! Great big yard for playing and their dog is a sweetheart. Couldn’t recommend Abigail enough!”

“My doggo had an excellent time with Jeniel. I’d send her there again in a heartbeat. She tired her out with lots of ball throwing, and showered her with love. Jeniel sent lots of photos, too.”

“Bo was very relaxed and happy staying with Chantel. Her place was clean and her clear and prompt communication before and during the stay was appreciated. We would use Chantel’s services again!”

“Aimee was absolutely wonderful with our pup! She sent daily photo updates, took her on walks, and treated her like a member of their family for the two weeks she had her. Our dog has some health conditions and needs regular medications and she was completely willing to take care of whatever our pup needed. We will definitely be calling Aimee again for our next trip!”

“Amanda was fantastic! Lucy was very well taken care of and we received picture texts while we were away for the Thanksgiving weekend. She had Amanda’s dog Tibbers to play with and they went for a walk when weather permitted. We will definitely use Amanda again!”

“Dr Erma took wonderful care of our three little dogs. She loved and cared for them as if they were her own, especially our 17 year old blind, nearly deaf, tiny shih tzu mix who needs a lot of extra care and attention. Our two chi-poms had the time of their lives snuggling and going for walks. We loved all the pictures and video we received while they were in her care for the weekend. Thank you Dr Erma! We really appreciate the care you gave our dogs!”

“Isabelle did an amazing job with my two dogs. One of them has some needs that call for close supervision, and I felt completely comfortable and at ease. She sent updates, and my dogs came home happy and tired. I would absolutely use Isabelle as a dog sitter again, and can't recommend her enough!”

About: Hi there! Im used to watching other people's pets and usually am requested to do such on base or off base. I also volunteered often for the humane society and owned several dogs myself. Military has made it more difficult to own a dog so taking care other dogs is a bit easier. I do this for fun and to help others (: Ill never increase price and if you need work things out we can discuss it. Ill be starting college on the 23rd from 9am-12 My schedule is usually rather free most days now. If you let me know in advance I can happily give you my schedule which usually consist of appointments. There's a huge fenced yard in the back and the house is always cooled. They're no kids here either. I certainly would welcome a house tour if you feel inclined to.
“Crystal was awesome and we felt so comfortable leaving our dog Ozzie with her and her family! Ozzie got lots of socialization and exercise on their property and came home a very worn out puppy. Would definitely recommend!”

“Great experience with Cheryl! Sent regular updates and photos which always make your vacation experience knowing that your pups are safe and enjoying themselves. Easy drop off, pick up and communication in between. Look forward to using Cheryl's services again!”

About: I have had dogs since I was a little girl. I used to love running around with my German Shepherd named Rambo. I currently have 2 little dogs and I love them so much! I am a stay at home mom. My kids are older though. I have plenty of time for new animal friends! I love taking walks and snuggling with animals! I have cats that will stay upstairs if your dog visits. I also have 2 very friendly girls that can play with your dog. There is a big park next to my house that has plenty of room to run!
“Our adolescent Heeler boys (21 months) had the best time at Krysta’s farm. They got to run, play, meet her pups, see chickens, pigs, horses, cats, kittens and meet her husband and baby son. She gave special attention to one of my heelers who barks a bit and I greatly appreciate the help. What a great experience. Special thank you to her dog Jax who is an amazing influence.”

“Georgia was the best! She took excellent care of my girls. She was quick to respond with any of my initial questions and was very easy to talk to and explain some of the quirks my girls can have. Great communication (and pics) of my girls the whole time I was away. My girls came home happy and tuckered out from playing with her pups, getting lots of snuggles, and running around in her big beautiful yard. I’m so lucky to have found her on short notice to care for my girls while I was away! Truly a gem! Thank you Georgia! I really appreciate you!”

“Julia is amazing. She stayed up all night taking care of my baby girl while she was sick. She kept me updated throughout the day and went over and beyond, as always! My baby has the best time there!”
“Tiana did great boarding our lab Sadie. She was very informative sending texts, videos and pictures daily of updates. Sadie was very happy when we picked her up which was great knowing she was well taken care of. I highly recommend Tiana boarding your pet!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Medical Lake
Maria was so great with my pup Murphy! She went above and beyond during my dog's extended stay, keeping me informed along the way. She has a large yard and a sweet older dog who was patient with my energetic pup. His extended stay led to a grooming appointment, a vet visit, and subsequent medication. She kept me informed through everything and sent updates which helped me feel better being away. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a home away from home for their pup.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
