Because every pet is different, I tailor activities to their age, energy level, and individual needs. One of my favorite things about dogs is that they remind us to step away from our screens and enjoy the outdoors. Whether your pet loves adventure or prefers a more relaxed routine, they’ll receive plenty of care, attention, and love while they’re with me. Trust is everything when it comes to caring for someone’s pets. I’ve been with the same company for 9 years, and I bring that same reliability, integrity, and accountability to every pet I care for. As a Project Manager, I’m highly detail-oriented and comfortable following specific routines, medications, and care instructions. I know every pet is different, and I take the time to learn what helps them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I genuinely love animals and don’t just “watch” pets—I enjoy spending time with them, keeping them engaged, active, and loved while you’re away. I mostly have dog sat at people’s homes. I do have a dog friendly apartment and would be open to select sittings in my home but it’s not fenced so there is less freedom that one would have in their own home.

About: My wife, Audri, and I are lifelong animal lovers with experience caring for a wide variety of pets. Audri grew up with Huskies, Malamutes, cats, rabbits, and birds, while I grew up with countless dogs and cats, as well as goats and even a pet rat. Animals have always been a central part of our lives, and our long-term dream is to have enough land to rescue and care for even more of them. As pet owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets and home. We regularly use pet and house sitters and know the peace of mind that comes from receiving updates while you're away. When your pets are in our care, you can expect dependable communication, regular updates, and plenty of photos. Our current furry family includes three cats, two rabbits, and two spunky Pomskies. We believe pets are family and take pride in providing attentive, loving care tailored to each animal's needs. Last year we relocated from Bend, Oregon, to Spokane and are excited to put down roots in the area. Our goal is simple: to ensure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, while you feel confident knowing they're in good hands.

“This was our first time using Rover. Alton and Valerie were very communicative and sent photos daily. Their home is very welcoming and set up well for hosting. Our dog Sunny got outside regularly and was able to play with their dog as well as other pups that were staying while she was there. Wonderful experience and would definitely use them again!”

I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds, personalities, and ages since I was very young, learning dog behavior from my mother, who was a professional dog trainer. In 2017, I started my own dog walking business and built a loyal clientele, and later became a shelter technician at SCRAPS, deepening my experience and empathy for pets of all kinds. I’m trained to give medications orally, topically, ophthalmically, subcutaneously, and in the ear. I’m also a PetSmart-trained dog groomer, so baths if your pup needs extra pampering. Whether your furry friend needs a walk, some cuddles, a game of tug of war, someone to keep them out of trouble, or just a companion to sit with them, I tailor my care to their personality and needs. I am currently available any day, between 10am-4pm I make sure pets are fed, watered, let out, and any messes cleaned up. About: I've cared for dogs (small to medium size), cats, ducks, fish, chickens and some birds since in my teens. I've looked after friends, family and neighbors pets for feeding, boarding, day care, walking, play, etc… I am an artist, so I am free to be home all day therefore my availability is Monday through Sunday. My hours are flexible and accommodating to your pets needs. I have a house with a tall fenced yard and 3 dogs that are dog and people friendly. Your pets can play with mine or they can be placed in a separate area. During good weather, I leave the back door open so dogs are free to come in and out of the house. All dogs sleep inside the house together or if requested in a separate room.
