I love dogs. Your pet will be loved
I love dogs. I have owned dogs most of my life. Small dogs are my specialty. I am able to care for dogs up to 30 pounds. I currently spend time with my granddog. She loves her grammy. I have a nice apartment in a quiet complex. Your pet would be treated like my own. I can walk, care for your pet at my place or yours, day care and overnights. I would love to meet you and your pet. Reasonable rates.

Velma has watched our little dog many times! She does well at Velma’s and Velma sends pictures and updates daily without having to ask. We love having Velma watch her!
Velma did such a great job with our little guy, we would absolutely trust her with him again!
Our 17-yr old Shima is very needy, and Velma was able to care for her as we requested. Chase has never been put in a kennel or doggy care of any kind, but did not seem traumatized at all, was well fed (though very picky) and Velma was able to give her the medications required.
We ended up having to change our original plans. Velma was very understanding and accommodating to us. We sure appreciate her.
It is nice to leave your dog with someone who loves dogs and is so nice and kind.
Lindi's tail starts wagging as soon as we drive in the parking lot at Velma's. It gives us such peace of mind knowing that she is happy and loved while we are away. Velma is the best!

Schedule
I am currently retired. I have the time and desire to care for your pet. I will be home the majority of the time. I am also available holidays and weekends. I can care for two dogs in my home if with the same family.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a nice apartment on the ground floor. There is a designated dog area. I will also walk your dog as needed. If I care for your dog in your home, I will be ready to follow his/her routine. Safety is my priority. I will not engage in activities that would put your dog at risk. I always treat them like family.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs such as hide and seek, playing fetch,walks, lots of cuddles. I can discipline a dog with a firm, gentle voice. There is also a dog park close by that I could take your dog for free play.
