I crate as little as possible. I only crate when I leave the house for a bit and at bedtime. The dogs get to run around in the yard and be supervised for safety. I will throw a ball or stick for the dogs. We have toys, sticks and bones to chew on. If they know how to use a doggy door that's a plus and I am willing to train.

I have a 1/2 acre fenced backyard. *Part of my fence is only 4 foot tall, if you think your dog will jump over it, I probably won't be a good fit for you. Your dog's safety and welfare is my highest priority. The dogs have their own area inside my house in the main room by the backdoor slider, they are not allowed to run all over the house or be up on the furniture. They are constantly supervised. The dogs can go in and out of the house all day through their own doggy door, if they don't like the doggy door I will open the back door for them. There is fresh water available inside the house and outside all day long. Your dog will be fed on your current schedule, I try to keep their normal routine as much as possible. I will crate them for bedtime in my kitchen from 9pm to 6am. Bring an item that smells like home for them to sleep with, to help them feel calm.

I want your dog to be friendly and playful with my dog. Is your dog aggressive toward other dogs or children? Is your dog crate trained? Will your dog sleep in its crate at night? How much obedience training does it have? What is your food schedule? Are they current on all shots? Are they current on flea/tick medication? I want this to be a great experience for all of us.

I use gentle, kind, positive training. Safety and well being are my top priorities. I only watch one to two dogs at a time so I can give your dog the attention they need. I treat them as one of the family when they stay with me. My neutered male goldendoodle will love to play with your dog all day.

We know how much Gus is loved by this family and that makes our time away from home worry-free!
Sarah always takes such good care of our boy Tucker! We dropped him off this time with some doggy ibuprofen in hand since he strained a muscle right before we were supposed to go out of town (classic!). Luckily he healed right up and didn’t favor it or need meds while he was there. Love that she sends picture updates to us as well. Tucker loves going to Sarah’s!
Thanks for your loving care of Gus. He comes home as if he has been “at home” all along !
Sarah and her family have really made us feel at ease leaving our very elderly dog. The individual attention she gives to Cooper goes about and beyond what we could ever ask for! Thank you, Sarah!
