Caring for your furry (and not so furry!) loved ones brings me lots of joy and is how I wish I could spend every day. Also available for overnights up to a week, staying in your home so your animal is most comfy! I love taking relaxing walks and playing fetch, or playing in your fenced yard enjoying the warm weather. I can administer pills and monitor health conditions, and can provide physical assistance for small dogs and cats with mobility issues, like getting up and down furniture. I'm open and eager to learn administering other medication types if you are comfortable teaching! Anxious and shy pets warm to me easily, and so do senior dogs and cats! I have open availability during the summer months as I work for the school district. After summer, I work part-time during the day, so I can stop by mid-morning to let dogs out to potty and play, and my evenings/weekends are open. Our trip was through Thanksgiving and that was not a problem for him. He came over to meet our two dogs and they took to him right away. Received updates from him even though for us maybe a little more communication would have been nice but the over-all experience was really good. When we returned back from our trip and he dropped off our house key the dogs were so very excited to see him. Normally when we are gone and come back our dogs tend to not be themselves for a while. I’m flexible with all play styles and feeding habits, all while staying firm against begging for food we can’t have and keeping a close eye on problem behaviors such as digging or pillow ripping. As for walking, I always strive to make sure your four legged friend has their share of exercise and fresh air. My time is currently open to weekdays from 6 am to 11 pm. I’m happy to check on your pets multiple times a day to keep up with their schedules, and am happy to follow plans as needed. I do my best to follow any instructions provided for your pet. I’m happy to play, take pets outside into yards or for walks in the neighborhood to get their energy out, feed them on their schedules, and visit multiple times a day to keep your pet happy and entertained. I have a preference for crate trained dogs, but for those more well-behaved, I have no qualms. As for cats, I’m happy to keep quiet and leave them to their own pace, letting myself be available to them while not invading their space.

Our 17-yr old Shima is very needy, and Velma was able to care for her as we requested. Chase has never been put in a kennel or doggy care of any kind, but did not seem traumatized at all, was well fed (though very picky) and Velma was able to give her the medications required.
Jenny was great with my 2 dogs! She was always on time, great communication, and was very good with both my puppy and my more difficult adult male dog who is reactive on leash and can be mouthy. She is wonderful with my dogs and has been a repeat sitter and walker for me and I will continue to rehire her in the future!

I highly recommend Eowyn!! Eowyn took care of our anxious dog while we traveled. We came home to a calm and content dog, a clean home, and well watered plants!
