“We used Damien for just a short 2 night trial trip and was great. One of our dogs gets very excitable when first meeting someone new, jumping up and not listening. She finally settles down, but takes some firm action at first to get her to listen. Damien was very patient but firm and after the first 20 minutes were buddies the rest of the stay, going back to her chill self. He was prompt, followed all instructions and gave lots of quality time with our dogs. We feel we can plan a longer trip now and feel confident dogs will be in good hands. About: I’ve worked & volunteer at shelters for about 5 years and have experience working with different types of dogs such as reactive, fearful, shy and friendly; as well of many different breeds. I was crossed trained as a veterinary assistant and have given medication before. I’ve earn my CCTBS (Certified Canine Training and Behavior Specialist) with the Animal Behavior Institute and I’m in my last quarter to compete my Advanced Canine Certification as well as my Feline Certification. I offer both Dog & Cat training services! I do have a full time job that is in the evening however this gives me ample time to provide quality care such as play time and long walks in the morning and checking on them late at night for one last potty break and ensuring everything is locked up so your pet is safe & sound. If you leave detailed instructions, I will follow them to a T. I can also provide photos frequently to show your pet having fun and relaxing at home safely. If a concern arises, I will immediately notify you no matter how small. You can always reach out about anything and everything, I love communicating and would want the same if someone was caring for my animals.

“Payton was great. We booked her for the first time after our normal Rover sitter moved away. She was very responsive in communication in both setting up a meet & greet and during the visit. I probably would have had her to the house so she would be more comfortable with everything (where the food is located and where to find things) but I think it worked out fine. I try to make things easy for the sitter with a cheer sheet because we have three big dogs all with personality and slightly different needs. She seemed great with all of it. Vanessa went above and beyond to help our younger pup adjust to the loss of his big brother (who passed only a few days before our trip) while we were away. Additionally, she surprised us by washing her bedding and towels! We truly appreciate Vanessa’s energy and efforts, especially given our circumstances.
We had Emma house-sit and care for our 9 year-old Duck Tolling Retriever, Tillie, for nearly 3 weeks, while we were overseas. This was the first time we hired her and were very pleased. I left detailed notes/instructions for Emma re feeding, potty and walking schedules, which she carefully followed. As requested, she happily let Tillie sleep on our bed with her and provided occasional email updates and photos. Emma collected and organized all of our mail, newspapers and packages. Also, as instructed, she listened to messages left on our phone and wrote down the date, person calling, phone number and subject matter for us to easily review upon returning. We arrived home to a very clean home. Without asking, Emma had cleaned the guest bathroom she had used, washed the sheets and put them back on our bed, washed towels, vacuumed all carpets and cleaned the kitchen counters and any dishes used. I highly recommend Emma and will definitely have her house and dog-sit for us in the future. She is friendly, trustworthy, and dependable. Perhaps, most important, she bonded well with Tillie and gave her lots of love and walks. My condo neighbors who interacted with Emma were very complimentary, too
Allison (Rae) took incredible care of both my dog and my sister’s pup over the Fourth of July weekend! She walked and played with them a lot and made them both comfortable despite their separation anxieties. She left the house spotless and even ran a load of dishes! I would definitely have her house and dogsit for me again!
Jenny was great with my 2 dogs! She was always on time, great communication, and was very good with both my puppy and my more difficult adult male dog who is reactive on leash and can be mouthy. I highly recommend Eowyn!! Eowyn took care of our anxious dog while we traveled. We came home to a calm and content dog, a clean home, and well watered plants! We received daily photo updates from Eowyn and when we saw our dog interact with Eowyn, Eowyn’s skill in understanding dogs and connecting with them was obvious. Our Family had a fairly long trip and did not want to put our dogs in a different location. Looking on Rover we found Phillip who responded right away. Our trip was through Thanksgiving and that was not a problem for him. He came over to meet our two dogs and they took to him right away. Received updates from him even though for us maybe a little more communication would have been nice but the over-all experience was really good. When we returned back from our trip and he dropped off our house key the dogs were so very excited to see him. Normally when we are gone and come back our dogs tend to not be themselves for a while.
