Our trip was through Thanksgiving and that was not a problem for him. He came over to meet our two dogs and they took to him right away. Received updates from him even though for us maybe a little more communication would have been nice but the over-all experience was really good. When we returned back from our trip and he dropped off our house key the dogs were so very excited to see him. Normally when we are gone and come back our dogs tend to not be themselves for a while. About: I have taken care of 8 dogs and 1 cat multiple times in the last two years. I have given insulin injections to a senior dog and given vet prescription medicine to another dog. I make the sure the pets are exercised and played with, along with a lot of loving attention. I am currently working part time and have college coming up in the fall. I am able to take care of pets for most of the day depending on my school and work schedule which I will have in the summer. I clean the litter box of our 3 cats, make sure the 2 dogs are fed and have water. I also brush the dogs when they are shedding. I give a lot of affection and attention to the pets in my house. I also own a horse who I feed and water, give exercise to, and make sure is clean and healthy.

About: I grew up helping raise our family dogs and have always been around animals. During COVID, I also house-sat and dog-sat for long periods while pet parents traveled around the world, so I’m very comfortable providing reliable, consistent care. Since I work from home as a freelance 3D artist, I’m home for long stretches during the day and only leave for short errands. I’m also fully available during the holidays, and my work won’t interfere with caring for your pets. In your home: I stick closely to your instructions—feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate training, cleaning litter boxes, anything needed. I maintain your pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and relaxed. I love sending regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. Pets stay in a safe, relaxed environment where they get consistent attention, enrichment, and supervised indoor play. I provide frequent potty breaks, structured feeding times, cozy rest areas, and fun outings like SniffSpot.

“This was my first time using Xenia. She stayed at my house and took care of my cat, Cora, for 8 days. She sent me pics everyday. She notified me when Cora’s ear needed attention and she had vomited twice, so that I could let her know what I wanted her to do. And my house was in amazing condition when I returned. About: Hi! I have been an animal lover and owner my whole life. I currently have a senior lab-chow mix (13), so I understand the extra love the older pups need! I have experience dealing with behavioral dogs, administering medicine, and training puppies! Whatever your animal may need, I am happy to do. While I work full-time, my work is fairly flexible. Leaving your pet is stressful, so I am happy to adjust my schedule where I can to help give you peace of mind. You know your dog better than I ever could! When doing drop in visits, I will make sure your dog is comfortable with me and my presence. I will make sure they get the love they deserve while you are away!

About: I LOVE animals! I’ve grown up with cats since I was 5 years old, and have had dogs for about 4 years now. I am very comfortable with both, and I love to build relationships and trust with the animals I care for. I have been watching animals including cats, dogs big and small, as well as horses for friends and family for about 3 years now alongside my current job. I have the most experience with cats, and German Shepherds and other big dogs. I am also experienced with senior cat and dog care, including giving medicine and physically assisting larger dogs when needed. I also love to spend time playing with animals, getting to know them and their personalities, and helping them to feel comfortable and safe! I currently work M-F at an elementary school and have online classes for graduate school on Monday and Tuesday evenings. I will be off work in the summer so my availability will increase come June. As for right now, I am available for house sitting, day visits, walks, and potty breaks on weekends. I pride myself in building trust and relationships with the animals I care for. I love to engage with animals and play with them, as well as make sure that they are comfortable and feel safe with me in their environment. I am able to help them physically if needed, and administer medication to ensure their health and safety.
