About: Hi, I’m Jordyn! I’m 21 years old and I am new to Rover. I have three large, very active and cuddly dogs of my own. I’m doing Rover full time so I’m always available for a walk, a drop-in, playtime, or housesitting as well. I understand that leaving your pet to a stranger while you’re away is pretty scary, so my goal is to create a bond with your pet and make sure that you can trust me 100% and feel comfortable. I want to provide the same level of care and love that you do with them. My own dogs are five and seven years old. I have raised each of them since they were 8 weeks old so I have been around plenty of puppies before. I also have experience housesitting with a couple senior dogs too, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages. I can take care of larger dogs, but I would prefer no more than 80 pounds as I’m not too strong. I’m good with dogs of all energy levels and would love to play with them, or be quiet and calm as they need. I have housesat and watched other pets for long periods of time (as long as 2 weeks). I also don’t mind picking up/cleaning up any messes either. Unfortunately, due to my home being pretty full, I cannot board as my own house. I am also okay with other pets like cats, fish, and turtles as I have experience in taking care of all of those.

Warm and friendly and bonded with Ranger immediately. Met her at house next day for drop off and she was very attentive asking questions about allergies and concerns. About: I provide concierge level care for your pets giving them lots of attention. I've taken care of all types of dogs including german shepherds and high energy breeds, and have fostered several pups destined for service. I have two cats of my own. I even feed and muck stalls for horses or other barn animals. Pls inquire re those rates. I am retired and take care of my hobby farm near Liberty Lake. I am very experienced with pets and they get a lot of attention and companionship from me. I can walk dogs or play with ball for exercise. I sit or play with cats depending on their personality. If more daily companionship is needed for dogs I am used to having them come with me for errands in my SUV in a crate.

About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

I like to study dog psychology and I have a bachelor's degree in psychology. I've taken care of all kinds of dogs from tiny-huge and fearful-calm temperaments. My favorite breeds to care for are large breeds, most specifically breeds like pitties, mastiffs, and dobermans, but I love all dog breeds too and love how every dog has their own unique personality. “We dropped off Ziggy for the weekend after a visit to the vet where we left with four medications, a cone and a bloody paw. Philip didn't flinch. (He was two minutes from where I was visiting my mom, so we could have been there if anything had come up.) We didn't get a lot of updates, but we came back to a dog who seemed happy, and better yet, hadn't been chewing on his paw. Highly recommend.”
